Admittedly I didn’t intend to purchase the full version of Filmm, but I exceeded my free trial and was charged so I had to stick with it.
Though there are a decent amount of filters and emulations etc, I do find Filmm to be slightly glitchy and editing is not as seem less an experience as I’ve had on other apps like VN and the like. For example, when trying to cut multiple video clips together and rearrange them I’m unable to hear the audio until I press the check mark and then press play to hear the sound with the video.
Now, maybe there’s a method to it, but I haven’t figured it out. I feel like you can achieve unique looks by combining filters, but there’s not enough control over them. They can look a little gimmicky.
Also, the title options are pretty basic in my opinion. Especially for the price paid.
I’ve created little snippet videos and they’ve been okay, but certainly not to where I can justify my accidental purchase.
The addition of being able to add music is a nice one, but again, there are other very capable apps that have the same option.
I don’t want to be too negative about Filmm as I can see that it has good aspects to it for many people…just not for me.
Plain and simple, I don’t really look forward to using Filmm and only do so because I had to pay for it.
I’d like to somehow receive a refund and will try to inquire if that is possible.
