First day and already I love it! I like the option to quick switch between filters and effects beses on a circle or diamond. The ability to stack and layer edits is so amazing for photos and video. I can’t wait for the option to edit specific layers. The option to import/export from A Color Story would be very beneficial. Also, the option to “continue previous edit” in case you close FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp and decide to resume later would be amazing. The colors and filters are beautiful, so much so that I plan on using FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp for all of my media; for IG especially; stories and posts alike! Thank you for creating FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp. The creative possibilities are endless!! I look forward to future updates and add-ons. I recommend to everyone.

Admittedly I didn’t intend to purchase the full version of FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp, but I exceeded my free trial and was charged so I had to stick with it.

Though there are a decent amount of filters and emulations etc, I do find FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp to be slightly glitchy and editing is not as seem less an experience as I’ve had on other apps like VN and the like. For example, when trying to cut multiple video clips together and rearrange them I’m unable to hear the audio until I press the check mark and then press play to hear the sound with the video.

Now, maybe there’s a method to it, but I haven’t figured it out. I feel like you can achieve unique looks by combining filters, but there’s not enough control over them. They can look a little gimmicky.

Also, the title options are pretty basic in my opinion. Especially for the price paid.

I’ve created little snippet videos and they’ve been okay, but certainly not to where I can justify my accidental purchase.

The addition of being able to add music is a nice one, but again, there are other very capable apps that have the same option.

I don’t want to be too negative about FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp as I can see that it has good aspects to it for many people…just not for me.

Plain and simple, I don’t really look forward to using FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp and only do so because I had to pay for it.

I’d like to somehow receive a refund and will try to inquire if that is possible.

I’ve written a lengthy review about FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp before regarding extreme annoyances, and I keep having to take stars away. I’ve stopped heavy use of FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp since the last issues a few months back so I’m unsure if those issues still exist, but as I’ve picked up my usage, I don’t see THOSE issues. There is however a superb new annoying bug that I’m ultimately confused as to how it even happens. When I import specific clips, it appears to play the audio pitched down a few semitones. Actually, it’s almost as if the video is playing in a slower motion and yet it only happens to be this way on the very the clips I need to utilize. Sometimes I feel like someone is personally out to get me on FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp, lol. It’s little bugs like that in which break the charm of an otherwise great app with great features. This may be a very specific issue. I’m on a 256GB iPhone 11 Pro. All I know is, I severely hope it gets fixed. One day FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp will stop making me emit big sighs.

Thanks for making such a fun little tool. I have been editing videos on desktop and it’s such a hassle to upload everything from my phone and then quite honestly, the editing is so finicky and takes a ton of time. I’m not a professional or an influencer, just a gal who loves savoring the memz! The one usability feedback I have is that the banner on the bottom that has Clips, Filmm, Adjust etc feels like it should be stationary or at least easier to get to. Maybe you could swipe it up? Once you click on say Filmm, the back buttons takes you to crop of clips, and the forward can take you to publish the video not adjust. It’s hard to find the “home” of where everything is. Other than that, I am really impressed with how much control you get over editing and to do everything on a tiny screen. Good job on them hot spots!

I want to love this so so much - but I’ve had issues with the entire app glitching out when adding video effects since the holidays. Customer support was responsive at first but they never got back to me with a resolution and it’s been three months. I’ll keep trying because I do love the concepts - but right now I’m a bit bummed that I can’t finish any of my projects.

Update:
I reached out to the developer over the holidays and never received a response after I tried the solutions they offered which didn’t work. I was told again to reach out to the developer a few weeks ago when I tried to get an update on my case, I did and never received an answer. Then I was just asked to contact the developer again today - I’ll try again but I’m kinda bummed because I’m being sent in circles.

Hey there, I love this handy little app. I use it almost daily when I’m at work as a social media manager. I’ve had FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp for probably over a year now and the filters keep getting better + more artistic. Makes me feel super cool bc it’s easy to use and looks better than I could make any videos on my own. I loved when they added the transitions bc my videos were a bit jumpy from one to the next so I like feeling pro, without the hassle of editing on a computer. Love love love that it comes with music options. Really hoping there will be more and more songs added in the future! Overall, one of my favorite apps on my phone.

I cannot tell you how happy I am that they added voiceover. This is the best alternative to iMovie, I was about to look for another app because they didn’t have voiceover. The only issue I have and it’s a big one because it requires me to use other apps still is the clip editing. You cannot edit clips in more than one way. I want to clip or shorten or do multiple things to different clips but I can’t it only allows one edit. Super frustrating. Sometimes I need to cut out a section, but I also want to shorten the length. I should be able to do multiple edits on clips.

I also reached out to support prior receiving my IPad to insure it would work and they told me it would despite the description saying it was for IPhone. That was untrue. Totally disappointed I’ll have to find another app to use.

I like all of the things it is possible to do on FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp, makes it easy to make a pretty good quality video right on your phone. That said, at least for me, FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp crashes a LOT. Doesn’t matter how much I try to trim my clips down before uploading them to FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp , it always seems to get overwhelmed. This happens especially when I’m trying to add transitions or effects. For this reason, I wish there was a button in the project to save progress. By exiting all the way out of the project back to selecting clips it default saves, but this is a roundabout way of saving and I wish it was easier. Also, lately it has been replacing a couple of clips with another existing clip and there’s seemingly no way to get it to stop, even if I delete the clips and re-upload them.

First of all I’ve been waiting for this launch for forever! Now I was able to download it and start using it needless to say I have edited almost all of my videos successfully and they’re all looking good. FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp is easy to use, it has plenty of filters to choose from, FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp itself comes with 2 free filter packages (Classic & Instant) and some other in-app purchase filters that are totally worth purchasing. If you’re looking to up your videos with some extra flare or want them looking like camcorders from the 90’s then this is FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp for you. I’ll update this review at a later time to let you all know my thoughts more in depth. But so far, oh, so good!

I never bother writing reviews for apps, so this one actually means something. I love the vintage filters you can choose from. I hope they come out with even more filters to choose from soon. They really make me feel like I’m watching a vintage VHS tape or home video, and the ability to add the grainy effects contributes to that. I’m also excited to see new frames soon. One thing I love about FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp also is the ability to import multiple clips at once and cut or trim them in FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp while being able to add filters to all of them if you want.

This WOULD have been my favorite vintage film editor to date except it glitches and shuts down losing all my work. I wouldn’t even complain except I have the paid version. I’ve spent as much as 45 minutes on an edit to lose all my progress once I try to export it. There is no rhyme or reason to when it will glitch, sometimes it’s while trying to apply a new effect or frame or transition and other times it waits to crash once you hit “save file” ... I really do love the potential. The filters, effects, time stamp ... it’s all fantastic in theory but it glitches 9 out of 10 times I use it which makes it basically unusable. Customer service suggested uninstalling and downloading FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp again. That did not fix the issue. If they could fix this major inconvenience it would easily be a 5 star app!

I cannot overemphasize how much FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp crashes. I never written a review before. This got me to make my first one. All the bells and whistles would be incredible were it not for the fact that FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp cannot seem to support any of it. It crashes nearly every time you try to edit/save any size video. Wish the developers would fix this problem bc they could have something great.

UPDATE:
I believe the problems have been fixed and have opted to purchase a second year of subscription. The first year was filled with extreme frustration, but if you like filters, now that it’s working, it’s worth it. Finally. Crossing my fingers this lasts🤞🏽

I watched Zoe’s vlog where she was talking about FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp coming out soon and I downloaded it cuz I’ve always wanted to edit my insta story videos but all the apps I’ve tried before would freeze, glitch, or just all together not give me exactly what I was looking for. After playing with FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp for about a day I LOVE it! It’s very simple to navigate and easy to edit your videos to exactly what you want. The filters and effects are awesome and definitely fun to play with. I’ve always wanted to get into editing but was way too scared it would be too complicated but this is perfect for a girl like me who likes simplicity 😊

FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp is so versatile and I can basically use it to edit videos for anything! The filters are amazing, the clip editing is pretty good and there are so many features! There are just a couple things holding me back from five stars... 1. Adding text! With all the features FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp has, I’m shocked there’s no way to add text to clips. That would be very useful to me. 2. Sound options. It’s great that I can add music or sound but I wish I could just add it to certain clips, not the whole video. 3. More precise clip trimming. It can be hard to make clean cuts because of the current format of the clip trimming. Overall great app and I hope these features are updated in the future!

Hi, I don’t want to be that person saying bad things about FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp . I think there is lots of potential and I really want to utilize it. However, I’d love to hear from FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp creators why I have been trying to save the and video all day and it won’t download after I’ve added your filters and everything. I’ve tried on WiFi and WiFi. I let my phone sit while it “downloaded” for over an hour (twice) and when it said it had no more download bar left I checked to see if there was a button to click, or if it was already saved to my phone. No such luck. Can anyone help me with this please?? Again, I'm not trying to say FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp is bad, I’m just wanting help bc I’m really frustrated.

FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp is so fun and something I’ve been needing! The only thing it doesn’t have (as far as I can tell at least) that I wish it did is the ability to slow videos down and speed them up. I know slowing down is harder because you would have to add frames that aren’t there, so that one may be a long shot, but it would be cool to be able to speed videos up within FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp ! Otherwise, so fun! Loving the filters and color controls!! Would also love the option to color overlays and titling options. Hoping they add those features in future iterations! 🤙

Could just be an issue with my phone, I don’t know, but when I add 1 thing to a video like a filter or effect, it works fine. If I try to add a 2nd thing, (like if I already added a filter and now I wanted to add an effect,) it freezes. Sometimes it will un-freeze but when I try to save the video I’ll get an “error: cannot de-code” message and cant save. So I’ve just been doing 1 step, saving, then going back with the saved file and adding the 2nd step hah worth it because everything is so beautiful! Just that little bug.

There’s nothing to say about FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp. It’s amazing to use and it’s so beautiful! I been using FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp for what like since it came out? I think like 2 or 3 years I been using it. Anyways it’s just great and the aesthetic of the filters and affects the artist makes is dead drop beautiful. PERIOD! I honestly get so excited like a kid getting ice cream when someone makes another beautiful pack for FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp . I just get excited! A little piece of me dies every time. But I can’t wait for new filters and affects to use! Keep up the great work you guys! And y’all should spend them coins on FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp! Have a great day!

It’s incredible what FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp is capable of. You can nail the look of super 8, VHS etc, but it’s also just so useful for stringing clips together and adding audio. So much more user-friendly than iMovie. Awesome overlays that will get your raw footage looking solid right off the bat. Realistic grain, transitions look really nice. In fact, I just wish there were more transitions to choose from! I keep reusing the same ones because they look so cool lol. I’m sure they’re working on more. Props to the makers of FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp, seriously incredible.

I just want FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp to work! The glitches are so awful. I love everything else but there’s nothing like editing a video for 40+ minutes and it not being able to save. FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp has so many glitches that it drives me insane. Also, when I upload the video to social there’s always this weird green line on the right side. My phone’s updated FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp is updated so I don’t understand what's happening. If I didn’t have all these issues it would be top tier. I’ve had FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp for two years and I keep trying to make it work but at this point I think I’m over it. I pay for the yearly subscription btw. 💔💔

So, I’m in love with the new Music feature! It was exactly what I was looking for and I love all the choices.

The one thing that REALLY irritates me is; if you are using the camera IN FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp , you better make sure no one calls you and you have all your alarms off. If someone calls me, my alarm goes off, or I accidentally hit Siri it not only stops your recording but DELETES EVERYTHING you just recorded. I’ve lost so much footage this way - I like to use the camera in FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp instead of the iPhone one because it zooms out further. I have to text people telling them not to call if I’m about to make a video. If it stops the recording it should still have what you’ve done so far instead of erasing everything.

That I’ve played around with, to this date. With the endless choices of filters and effects you can get as creative as you’d like! It’s simple to use but still has advanced tools for editing the colour and tone of your video. The option to save as a single video or as stories makes it easy for you to upload on any platform.

The only thing that I wish was included would be a feature to add music. You can do so in IG but if your video is split into multiple stories it’s difficult to get the music to flow right. This is a hard thing to get the rights for though, so I understand why it’s not an option.

I always loved editing apps for photos especially for Instagram. But it was always a barrier for capturing video to have the same sort of look and feel as my photos. But! The Filmm app is perfect. There are a ton of beautiful presets and you can customize the more granular things like chroma, saturation, and curves too! You can save the vids you edit or post them directly to social. Love love love FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp! It really encourages me to take more videos with my phone and not feel like I have to lug around a big camera to capture video memories.

I use a lot of different photo apps to get retro filters, but there was never really one for video, specifically for “story videos.” This is really great! I’m pleasantly surprised and I feel like you get a decent amount of effects to use with the free app, that it doesn’t force you to buy anything or pay for the subscription to actually get something out of it (hopefully that stays the same). The aesthetic is gorgeous and I love that even the watermark is aesthetically appealing and doesn’t ruin your videos.

THANK YOU for the *freaking amazing* filters that you can purchase but also thank you for the free stuff too! Most of the time apps like these will throw one or two free things and expect you to pay for everything else. But FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp gives you easy to use adjustments, a LOT of them and then you can choose if you want to purchase the filters they have. Which I did because they’re awesome✨ Or they have a monthly payment which is v cool too!

I love FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp and I use it a lot , I just have to keep finding ways to work around the small problems I come across. For some reason when I add a border and then upload the photo the border disappears. I also don’t understand why the songs have to start at the beginning of my video, why can I not let the song start in between or at any specific point in my movie? Other than that I am utilizing every feature and love the updated filters. I paid for the entire app so i’m hoping these issued get fixed.

honestly surprised i found an app like this!! I have been looking for an app that makes videos feel old timey and vintage and i honestly at one point thought i wouldnt find it and then i got this ad from instagram and i was so happy. I did have to pay for one of the packs for the frame i wanted ($3.99) but other than that its pretty much free. I didnt rlly see a point in doing the yearly/monthly one. it is annoying that they always ask me if i want to do film+

I purchased the full subscription to the Filmm app, and yet it keeps trying to charge me for absolutely everything. I even accidentally paid an additional $3.99 or something while trying to use a filter I already have! And today even that purchase doesn’t reflect in my app and I’m back to the free ones that come with the download.

Stories also don’t display in order, but I read that’s being worked on.
I really like the idea of it and think it was about time something like this was launched. I would love to eventually see more editing options for the subscription price.

FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp lets you adjust the brightness/saturation/etc on your videos FOR FREE. Also lets you buy cool filters (which are actually worth getting) which is also nice that it is a single time purchase and not only a subscription based plan. Also has really cool editing stuff that makes it look retro. FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp restored my faith in apps. It started to feel like everything available was just okay, and i had to pay every month for it.

Now, I may be biased because I already follow Zoe and A Beautiful Mess for a long time, but I LOVE FilmmEasyVideoEditingApp. If you like that vintage style or putting effects on your videos, I would highly recommend this one. I normally delete an app if there’s no way of getting around the watermark, but I think this one actually adds to the vibe of the video I don’t mind having on there. Great app guys! Can’t wait to see how it’ll continue to grow and love the update :)
