- Failed to update on one attempt
- Requires login even after two months of use
- App does not connect to ebike when trying to use it
I recently bought a Revolt E bike and am getting many issues using the Ride control App. as displayed on a Mate20 Huawei Android phone. 1/ When riding the distance display (miles) records much greater distance than I'm actually travelled. more closely aligned to Kms. on 2 separate occasions it stated recording true mileage travelled but then have way through the journey after a "comfort break" of 3 or 4 mins the display had switched to a much higher recorded distance. The dealer has been unable to resolve the issue even after updating the bike software. 2/ When the phone display is set to show "Speed" this alternates between actual travelling speed and "0" every 1-2 seconds, so sods law prevails and whenever one glances at the phone screen speed is invariably showing zero. 3/ When in ride mode showing travelling route, the map rotates left & right around the bikes location as if one was zig-zagging along the road even when riding in a straight line on a dead straight road. Given the above issues the Ride control app is worse than useless. Unless this can be sorted the bike is going to be returned for a refund, as it's not fit for purpose, & certainly not up to the standard of previous Giant bikes I've had in the past.
Navigatie werkt niet meer. de pijl blijft hangen op het evo display. maar veranderd niet ook de meters veranderen niet. daar door weer je niet wanneer je naar links rechtdoor of rechtsaf moet slaan.
App crashes after 2 seconds. Anybody have another way to calibrate without using the ##%+ crashing app?
Since 29 October the App just immediately crashes after about 2 seconds after opening. It’s on IOS and have already tried deleting and reinstalling.
Was working at first, now the app simply fires up and in 2 seconds crashes. This happens on all devices. Should I just use one device?
Samsung Galaxy A50 mobile and Liv Amiti E+ ebike recognize each other via Bluetooth and mobile is connected to a wi-fi network. Tried updating RideControl Module using the RideControl App. Keep getting message 'Up date failed. 3-5 Updating RideControl Module. 0%. We have encountered some problems during the upgrade. Please reconnect to retry again or contact your dealer.. Retry.' Have tried an uninstall and reinstall of the App. Still doesn't work. Now forced to take bike to dealer which one should have to do if the App worked properly. Clearly there is a major issue with it.
