Really loving LanguageExchange so far. I am an English native speaker trying to learn Spanish and French. While other programs have been helpful, the ability to practice in real life conversations with real life native speakers has helped me progress much more than any other way. App runs really smooth and as a woman, a surprising bonus is I haven’t come across any creepy men yet, just true language learners/teachers. 5 stars!!

I just found out about LanguageExchange through a friend ans I am loving it! The concept is awesome and I love the open possibility to meet new people and learn new languages especially at a time when travel is much more limited! Such a brilliant idea, I’ll definitely be checking this out daily to brush up on my language learning skills and preparing for my post covid travels!

LanguageExchange nails what so many language learning apps miss. Language is all about communication! Memorizing flash cards doesn’t really prepare you for using a language. Nothing Beats 1 on 1 talking with a native speaker and just immersing yourself in that language as much as possible. Cant wait to see where LanguageExchange goes from here!

If you are downloading LanguageExchange to chat like the 90s and online dating with foreigners then this is all you are looking for. I downloaded LanguageExchange to learn a language, and the platform did not make me feel confident that my data would be safe, and that there would be any serious learning happening. Update: my account got “timed out”, and when trying to log back in to delete my account, my email cannot be found.

Easy to navigate app and innovative approach to learning a new language, through conversations and exchanging ideas with native language speakers from other countries. Also a geat way to meet new people and find out more about different cultures

Being English my secos language (I live in Spain), it's important not to lose fluency because the lack of practice and that's just when HeyPal makes a difference, allowing me to make a language exchange through chatting whit people who are native English speakers.

The application keeps crashing. Even though my internet is working fine. It takes way too much time to connect and respond.
The UI is great. But there is no security. No way of authenticity that the person you are talking to is really who he/she says or not.

It claims that it’s similar to Facebook. Yeah it is in many ways. But there are too many problems

LanguageExchange has been in the works for a minute but now having seen it I’m highly impressed. I can communicate freely with different cultures around the world. Exchanging my language knowledge for theirs as well. I’m pumped to see the user’s fir thus app skyrocket!

Some of the other language apps are good but require you to be very formal. LanguageExchange will help you learn how to speak the language and basic grammar skills. If you want to be able to go to another country and communicate download hey pal.

It keeps crashing. And many messages disappear. The most annoying is the amount of scammers and catfishers, hookers, and irrelevant people. All these people try to use LanguageExchange to date. Most aren’t even learning a language. Such a poor app. Lastly, I keep getting messages from people NOT from my target language. Like I’ll get messages from people in India, Spain, Algeria, Morocco, Russia, America etc. I’m not even learning their language. Waste of time.

I tried LanguageExchange and removed it a couple days after because I didn’t find it useful. The main thing is that as you browse you soon realize that there’s a lot of content that’s not appropriate for minors. I didn’t see any pornography as such, but lots of (hookup) request.
It needs a lot of work and refinement. Nothing you can’t find today in other platforms. Thought this one was different.

Language is all about practice. If you don’t use it and it’s not your native language you will forget. So this is a great way to meet someone new and practice the language of your choice.

There is just too many fake profiles and scammers on here. There needs to be photo identification to make sure that the photos have been verified to avoid all of those fake profiles. With that being said, you don’t know who is real or who is not.

I have been personally scammed by 4 woman on here. 2 of them had fake profiles posing as someone else and the other 2 woman were just scammers.

LanguageExchange is so smooth and easy to use to find people for language exchange! The parameters and interface are simple that any age can use it. Tons of languages to choose from.

It was a breeze to download LanguageExchange , sign up, put in a bio and post my goals and the languages in which I’m interested in learning. Within minutes I was contacted by a native Spanish speaker!

I’ll use this when I’m going to new countries or traveling. Seems like a good way to connect prior to and translate chat feature is really slick

I just downloaded LanguageExchange today and couldn’t be more impressed. LanguageExchange is very clean and easy to use. Excited to be practicing my Spanish!

I have actually talked to some real nice people. You will have to block some bots and trolls but there are some real people in here willing to learn a new language.

It glitches wayyy too much and i deleted and redownloaded again and it wont let me sign in again with my right password and email. I just lost my account forever until you guys fix that i guess

Such a cool concept! I have been waiting for this to open up in the states for months!

I am loving it so far. Haven't had any issues so far. It will strengthen my family's language learning effort.

Great app! Very user friendly and so great meeting others around the world. Looking forward to improving my Spanish.
