If you use SmartRun in combination with a SmarTracks DX5. 0 sensor and a Mobile Gates Set or with a SmarTracks DX5. 0 sensor and a SmarTracks location, you can receive the timing results via livestream on your smartphone. - Mobile Gates (for running with mobile gates in combination with DX5.  For precise measurements of runs, SmartRun should be used with SmarTracks locations or a Mobile Gates Set.  SmarTracks locations have integrated timing gates strategically placed throughout the course for high-resolution timing.  Smart Run allows you to connect to dedicated tracks, called SmarTracks locations.  We recommend purchasing a flexible running belt that allows you to wear the smartphone on your lower back.  SmartRun is particularly suitable for high-precision measurement of sprint times and cadence on running tracks.  These tracks have built-in technology that allows you to time your run with high precision via a smartphone.  SmartRun is designed to be used with a belt holding the smartphone at the lower back.  Results from using SmartRun in other positions on the athlete's body will be less accurate.  SmarTracks locations are built exclusively by our partner SportGroup.  Some of these tracks are open to the public, others are private or run by universities, sports clubs or municipalities.  Smart Run provides accurate running data.  This does not require a special equipment setup.  If in doubt, please check with the track operator.
