Closer - Make New Cool Firends Reviews

this app is further from the truth when it comes to naming an app. Issues with app? Having any real conversation or members is just starters. Every single woman that has liked me is one of the following:
1: Looking for money
2: Looking for my number or email so I can pay her money
3: Wants me to follow her on some other app (Snapchat, IG, Kik, Etc) so I can pay her money
Girls here want your money for services or their time. Sugar babies asking for money to chat over phone or via cam. Girls wanting money for their nude photographs. That’s what it boils down to. Chances are most are scammers but who knows maybe there’s some real women on here - though they will likely want your money. Worse yet not a single one of these girls knows how to write more than one word or one short sentence & even then it may not be correct grammar. There’s no point in wasting money on seeing who liked you when most will be out of state & likely don’t actually live there anyway. Several members when initially liking me - their profile said Ohio or Delaware (for example) but by the next day it will say Nigeria. If that doesn’t raise red flags I don’t know what will. Don’t believe any positive reviews; from an app like this there is no way they are real. If there is any real actually sincere women on here it will be a likely rare occurrence. And those who are real I bet won’t be on here long - not because they found someone; no it will be because of Closer’s toxicity.

In less than 24 hours I was contacted by three (supposed) women. One of them claimed to be within the 225 mile radius I set, but one of the others is about 1,500 miles away, and the other didn’t have a location. Here’s the kicker: they were all hookers! One of the even had their rates shown on their profile! Are you kidding?!

Closer itself is not all that impressive. Even Facebook Dating is more user friendly and easier to navigate. I had to close Closer and restart it just to get it to update! What’s more (or in this case less), I live in a major metropolitan area, but there are only four women that match the criteria I entered?! Not very effective or worth my time (or disc space.)

Someone much wiser than I once said, “You get what you pay for.” So far Closer proves that statement. You get a whole lot of nothing. I’ll keep it for a few more days just fir cheapo entertainment, but I certainly won’t be meeting anyone/anything from it.

This dating app should wipe the whole system. Make it to where you need a facial recognition selfie to send and receive messages. It’s free to do and easy being most sites are doing this. There are no actual real female profiles on the site. It’s just men talking to other most likely men pretending to be beautiful women. Also none of them that I’ve spoken to was actually where they said that they were from. Being have zero clue of anything around them. Would give -10 stars if I could. This needs to be shut off and changed around.

The first version of Closer was great. Then once they made you pay to meet people or even see who likes or matches with you, it went downhill. Your messages get cut off, most people on Closer are either fake or bots or people under age and the tabs within Closer do not load. The customer service was terrible and I received no help with trying to resolve any of the many issues with Closer , even after me creating a new account, it still doesn’t work. It’s not worth downloading you won’t meet any actual people here so don’t waste your time.

It seems that there is more guys in here then anything else that’s okay if you are gay but I’m not and I’ve only seen 3 ladies from my city of San Antonio and since you cannot reply to any of the people ladies or guys pictures it’s hard to find out anything about them and some only have a picture that doesn’t say anything else what is there to do now goodbye

After I use Closer and close it when I open it back up and go to the messages the screen is shifted where you can’t see anything causing me to have to delete and redownload Closer every time this is very annoying and needs to be fixed

I wasn’t expecting to find that there’s not a singe girl on here who didn’t try to scam, spam or start catting and ask if I wanted to meet the inform me that this site is pay to play and hit me with a list of prices for their services. Really? How does something like this exist without getting banned or shut down for being an online pimp. Sad that’s just sad.

My god , you can’t even register, it keeps failing.

I finally was able to register not by email but was forced to use google. I constantly get please try later using any features. People pop in and disappear randomly. There were multiple people who liked me right after logging in (finally) all half my age. I will log out and uninstall after I finish this review.

Apple you really need to review the reviews posted and TEST out what you approve to be placed on Closer store. All you are doing is supporting those who destroy apps.

The positive reviews for Closer are FAKE and paid for. We've all seen ads by companies or people posting their rates for X amount of reviews placed or what they'll up an app rating to.

Dead giveaway that a scammer is talking is OK dear

So I tried Closer out for a couple of days, and pretty much it’s like any other dating app. Surprisingly it’s free! If you wanted to you could always help the creator out by donation.

.when notifications pop up you sometimes have to open and close Closer a couple of times to see who liked you or sent you a txt.

Never thought I find a dating app that’s completely free it’s the best app I ever gotten, most app you have to pay and most are fake profiles but this is real, real people and Closer is just great I love it

I can’t get enough of it I’m addicted. I really wish I could afford a subscription or donation but I have plans on paying it forward to you guys here very

it's a great chat app-concept one Ive ever had. but I got a little suggest itd be pretty better if we could keep some with favorite option or something. It will be a very perfect app.

Most of the time Closer wouldn’t even load anything. Then not even a week in I get banned from my account. No reason as to why it’s just gone. I think I’m going to give up on having a relationship, I just have no motivation to try anymore.

Oh and now it’s not even free anymore. What a waste of time. That was the whole point.

Speechless on how fast of a like I received from Closer, after recently downloading it. Recently as in, 5 mins ago 😅.. So... it gets a 10/10 from me.

It’s a good app. You can find people quicker, and you don’t have to do any verification. You keep it simple, and that’s why I like Closer.

Let me start by saying I'm on a couple different dating sites. this app has probably the best customer service I've encountered out of all of them. Dating is hard enough without having to fight with the sites themselves.

I like it alot there ain't no problems connecting with or trying to find anyone and it's it's easy to talk to people without a bunch of money and and back and forth problems. I think it's Five Star Plus

Ever since a major update for Closer, this company sneaked in a gold feature that you have to pay monthly for just to see who likes you. Closer, ever since the major update, turned into a complete joke. Now Closer is a part of all the other pay for date apps. Whoever reads my review from this company you better change your app back into being 100 PERCENT FREE

I am really impressed and keep it up.. Closer has no ads. the point is unlike other apps where you have to buy vip or other stuff to get a match this is totally free app.

I believe that this is one of the best apps for communication to have. It's free, you can invite people on to chat with, you can make new friends in the chat rooms, and you can also pm people, for private type conversations

I like Closer cuz it gives you a chance to free see AND free talk to other people instead of having to upgrade and pay for seeing who likes you. I like it

Very easy to use ... U dont get charged for sending messages or other basic functions... Just wish it had more profile filter options... Over all cool app

The customer service works hard on deleting fake accounts, which makes Closer pure in dating

For me this is the best dating app I have met because not like other dating app that you need to pay before seeing who send you a message or checking out who likes you.

Though i didnt choose to pay for membership, I can still use almost all functions to have a match

This is nice dating app. If you want to chat, you easily get connected without paying anything and you can create your own chatting group or join others world wide easily.

Gotta say, I ain't running into my high school friends nor my ex, this is a great app to get to know people, it does not limit your bio. And it'll tell you who likes you and.... dude it's just great. thanks.
