Review about App, not an order!

First off, I am reviewing Ashley itself, and not an order I made via Ashley and checking the status thru Ashley . I wanted to look at light fixtures, simple enough. I attempt to use the filter, and to my surprise the filter has Number of drawers? Keep in mind I want to filter for a vanity light, instead of scrolling through the thousand options of lights (table lamps, floor lamps, pendants, etc). But when the size filter shows RUGS, and 9x12, 2x3, round, runners, oversized, well, you get the idea there are no options to search for vanity lights except to search by keywords only.
The other issue is the amount of white space on my iPhone screen that is wasted and the itty-bitty pictures used for the products. If this is how the marketing department expects to sell
Items with tiny pictures on a large white background and no means to filter properly Such as: lights->vanity->brushed nickel-> 3 lights-> dimmable, one will loose interest quickly and search elsewhere. I’ve tried many times to search your site but have made purchases elsewhere because I gave up pushing the endless SHOW MORE button which hopelessly crashes before I reach the end.

Worst customer service

I would like to provide a terrible experience feedback . I understand this pandemic is making things delayed and not disputing no one is doing there job. I purchased an order on May 4th with a deliver date of June 5. The money is already taken out of your account before delivery is confirmed. This is considered to be a in store purchase through Ashley . Yet I’ve been texting a sales person trying to receive updates. I called today to get the information that my furniture will be delivered in two parts on the 10th and 15th. No one has called me to inform me of the new dates. Then was told if cancel will take 30 days for a refund. Every time you call, you are holding for 30 to 40 minutes for someone to answer and disconnect the call. I don’t know if I will get my purchase. I will never purchase from them again after this experience. They keep taking pride with their own manufacturing but that does not change the fact of not providing professional customer services or updates a customer about their order and making the decision for them to keep it while pushing delivery dates back.

Total failure

I tried placing an order in Ashley . I have had successful orders with this app using their website, but Ashley order still said “new” after a week and I hadn’t received a confirmation email. I contacted phone customer support who said they would make an IT ticket to have the order “pushed through” and I should check again in 2 days. The order was still “new” after 3 days so I contacted customer support via their text chat service. I was told the order was going to be “pushed through” the following Tuesday. Still by the following Tuesday there was no change. I contacted customer support again and they said they didn’t see my order anymore and if I checked my account again it should be updated to reflect the failed order, “It has been a pleasure: have a wonderful rest of your day!” Then my husband posted a negative review on the this app Facebook page and they replied saying they want to help, “what device did we use?” Their reply was that Ashley does not work with iPhones. The End, very unsatisfactory and disappointing ending.

The Worst Costumer Service

I recently moved into a new house and decided to have this app Homestore completely furnish it. I ordered several thousand dollars worth of stuff in May. My bedroom set came in as promised, but my office furnishings kept getting postponed. I called at least 20 times and even left voicemails, and never did I ONCE speak to anyone on the phone. Eventually I drove to the Kennesaw store and demanded my money back.

My most recent displeasure is the sectional sofa that I ordered this summer which was delayed but promised to be delivered today, August 18. I was sent a confirmation email August 3 confirming the delivery of this afternoon, although it did not give me a time frame. I literally had to call out of work to ensure that someone would be home for the delivery to be set up inside. I didn’t get a text, cancellation, phone call, etc. I had to take a VACATION day for this, and I am very upset. I am going to find a way to get into contact with someone—even though no one ever answers my calls—and demand some sort of compensation/reimbursement for this. Completely unacceptable.

Very very poor customer service

Please don’t shop with theses people was my first and last time now I see why the parking lot stays empty went in to buy a recliner for a shoulder surgery was asking about the delivery charges and could not reach the store which was only a mile or so from my residence no answer all day long from a business but worst of all called there customer service number about 4 times they could not help me and talked to a manger named rob at extension 104 that was all he was willing to tell me and he was not willing to help me any further with his full name or trying to get in touch with the store so after having surgery the next day my wif had to take me back up to the store where I bought the recliner to talk to the sales person who sold me the item and she tried to apologize for the terrible customer service and said she would refund me for my delivery but almost a week later and I see no refund so I say to anyone out there if you are looking for good old customer service this app does not have it but they do have bad old take your money now I don’t know you

Unprofessional

I purchased a dining room suite and it was delivered with a damaged chair. I was told they would deliver another chair in a few days and would send me an email stating that. I received the email and it said nothing about the chair being damaged. On the day I was to receive the replacement chair, I received a phone call stating the delivery would be there in ten minutes. Two hours later, I still had not received the chair or a call to state that it was not coming. The delivery person said that someone would be calling. No one called, so I called them. I was told that they called me twice, which was a lie. If they called, why didn’t they leave a message. I told the receptionist that it was disrespectful to say they were coming in ten minutes and then to not come or call. Then I was told that they had no idea when my chair will arrive and I can keep calling to find out when it comes in. This is the most unprofessional way of treating a customer. I would never recommend this app/ Sam Levitz to anyone.

Delivery Options

We needed a couch so went went to store to look- we found what we wanted so we decided to buy it - Surprise!! You can’t just backup and take it home from the store - the ONLY option they have is delivery to your house for $150 or rent a truck and drive 250 miles round trip to get it yourself $$$ - they don’t offer it delivered to the store so you can pick it up yourself- I seen the back dock area in the store there was room for it to be there til we picked it up when it arrived—- by the time we ordered it the additional charges eliminated the savings we got of it being on sale - they can ship items to there store but not for customers that buy items - sounds like a thought out plan to add additional charges to your purchase with no options other than pay or a expensive truck rental and time driving 250 miles at your cost!! 😡😡😡 Shame on you this app for doing this to your customers!!

Bad customer service

I’ve been to 3 this app stores and was treated really bad the reps are only concerned about making commission they will sale you merchandise that’s no longer in stock and pretty much say oh well. The management is unaware and very uninformed about Ashleys merchandise and rude! Culver City and Burbank the worst! I also made An order online never received my order but was charged 428 dollars I spoke w a rep said money would go back on my card within 48 hours that was almost 2 weeks ago still haven’t received the credit back to my account and when you try calling Ashely store you are on hold for 1hour or more then the phone will just hang up. Oh one more thing I purchased a mattress 2 weeks ago got the mattress home it’s defective extremely soft no one helped us in the mattress section rep just came over to write up sale. The worst home shopping experience ever!

Great Sales Rep at Folsom Store

We came to the Folsom location and wish we had gone here instead of Natomas - all because of the Sales Rep. We already spent over $4000 at the other store but we will change to shopping in Folsom from now on. It’s amazing how one person can make a difference. Trenton Vendetti was dressed professionally, presented the products, was patient and again professional despite walking away and we did not but the barstools that evening. We will definitely be buying all purchases with him moving forward. Sara Reps like Trenton make a great customer experience.

Ashley works great!
I was super happy with the sales people and even with the fact that they couldn’t promise a specific date because of all this Covid junk. It’s our new world today.
My beef is that they either charge me a super high fee to deliver, almost 15%, or I have to go around the world to pick the item up. All I’m asking, especially with these trying times of not being able to get my items in for months, is when they finally are in don’t make me go to the ends of the earth to pick it up; in some of the worst places I’d ever want to drive through. Just ship them to a store so I can pick them up there. I won’t do this again. Major headache from all angles.

Beware!

This is my 1st and last experience with this app Furniture. Customer service is absolute trash. Not 1 coherent employee. Wait times over 45+ minutes. Very rude and inadequate chat feature on app. When you call corporate you receive the same terrible service. Employees literally hang up on you. I regret purchasing 1 item. Arrived broken, over 1 month later this app keeps cancelling my return pick up date. Total nightmare. Now BBB is involved and my credit card company. Ashley is worthless. The reviews on the products in Ashley are chosen and reviewed by this app prior to being posted. My 1 star review on the item I purchased was never posted. It’s literally a scam. After I saw all the complaints on the BBB website I was saddened to see how many other people experienced the same BS I’ve been going through with this app Furniture.

very easy to order and apply for credit!

I had been saving up for months to complete my Lettner bed set. I have a one more piece to finish my set, however I decided to apply for credit since my girls are needing their bedroom furniture too! I have fair to good credit and passed within one minute. I was able to order the other things I have been wanting for their rooms and get 12 months no interest! I’ll have this paid off and ordering more in no time ;) ! One room at a time and my whole house will be an this app Furniture show room lol 😂

DO NOT PURCHASE HERE

I placed an order that was over $2k and I’ve been trying to get in touch with people for two weeks. I am in a new home with no furniture and I can’t even shop elsewhere because I spent my money at their online store. They will steal your money. I completely understand we are in a pandemic. However, their CEO’s press releases and their website is putting on the façade that they are open and operating. CLOSE your online store like your physical stores are if you aren’t going to deliver the furniture or have customer service available. This is stealing. And what a horrible time to steal money from people. I am not the only one going through this — looks at their comments on their social medias (mostly Instagram, they delete the comments on Facebook but you can tell it’s bad from the angry reacts).

Terrible experience in store, my fiancé and I couldn’t even have space or time to ourselves. Constant contact, there’s a line when hungry sales rep should understand not every customer wants to be leeched around every department they walk through. The constant lingering say this product is great or this is a nice sale. We get that that’s why we stopped by. Possibly change and ask a more human like question, like what brings you in today are we browsing or shopping. Wonderful ladies

I went in store to look at a sofa and love seat this morning and spoke to Shacoya about the furniture. I came back this afternoon with my husband to purchase the furniture but Shacoya was busy helping another couple so Fateme helped us since Shacoya was unable to get to us. Both women very friendly, helpful, and courteous. It was unknown when the sofa that I originally wanted would be in stock so Fateme was able to help me pick out another set and made sure it was still in our price range. I will definitely be shopping with them again.

Communicate

I get covid. I get back orders I am in sales. However I showed up 3 days in a row looking at the same couch and 2 recliners. Ordered them. Got 2 text messages about order delivery to confirm. I did. Called for time. Waited all day. They were back ordered 3 more days ok. Reschedule Complained a little but still understood. They are rushing the order now. Oh btw they do not have 2 recliners only one after several attempts with my sales person saying that’s too cheap. They only ordered 1. I get mistakes but Jesus just communicate to ur customer. Never got the product.. canceled after the 5th phone call very frustrated. I’m a customer that would pay for great customer service. Love the product. I think??? Damaged product delivery

I will never order from you again. My products were delivered damaged on both occasions. No one can help when you call. They transfer you to different departments so that you spin in circles. You took my money and now I’m not your problem. I will be sure to share my experience online with family, friends and colleagues. I spent over $4000 in one month purchasing items. Shame on you for taking advantage of people. I’m a healthcare employee who works very hard for my money. I was so excited to reward myself with all of my hard work through COVID and you ruined it. I’m now stuck with damaged furniture that no one will help me fix. So after working my 12 hour shifts I get to come home to wood chips and holes in my couch. Shame on you!!!!

this app delivered our two new sofas exactly on time and while at our home they noticed that another business had arrived to pick up and haul away an old upright very heavy piano. The haul away truck had a bed more than 4 feet high making loading the piano almost impossible. The this app truck had an hydraulic tailgate. They quickly positioned their truck for the piano; lifted it to the level of the other truck bed. The piano was easily moved onto the other truck. Took only a few minutes but their kindness was a HUGE help to the others. THANK YOU!!

I love all their product because always up to date every season, good quality and ellegant stuff. The price is reasonable, easy payment system or finance. No body perfect in this world either the company they have plus and minus. this app Furniture is growing up company they already 70 years in this industries i belive they will learn from their mistake and they will get better in the future. App review. Chat doesn’t work.

I am using Ashley for convenience. While I like my local showroom it’s a bit of a drive and so I was hoping to save a trip. I will say that this review would be higher if the “chat” function was not an option but it is and so I thought ... that’s a good way to conveniently ask a few questions. Instead I had a one sided conversation with myself.

I would recommend they remove this feature until it is monitored well. People won’t miss it if it isn’t there. The rest works fine. Minor things could be better BUT all in all it’s good. The feature to place in a room is nice.

Top of the Line Awesomeness

We just built a new forever home this year. We search 4 states trying to find reasonable prices comfort and quality. We found our living room suite at this app Furniture in Hickory NC. Our home is in Georgia but they didn’t deliver that far. They have a pickup warehouse in Fort Mill SC. This was the easiest purchase we ever made. We worked several months on scheduling with our NC Salesman’s Brian Caudle & Joe Mueller getting ready to move in. We drove to the warehouse and gave our papers to the nice Ladies. We waited 15 minutes was loaded and done in 30. Our living room suite is so comfy and it’s a nice place to land when you get home. Thank you so much this app furniture for terrific sales and service.

Top of my list

Definitely a great app when you are looking to buy those bigger items.. it shows the product as if it were right in front of you... I’ve yet to have any misgivings of incorrect colors, sizes or even prices.. friendly user app which could not necessarily be a good think when you aren’t sure about the item and buy it anyway.. False advertising

Ashley advertises free deliver but fails when you place your order . When you attempt to call customer service no ones answers . It’s a scam to get you to go into the store . When I arrived at the store I was told there is so such thing as free deliver and was charged an extra $100 for delivery . I’ve attempted to contact customer service via email however I have not received any response. Again Ashley stated false information that customer service will get back to you In 24 hours . As of right now it’s been one week . I would of taken my business elsewhere but I’ve already been approved for there credit prior to going in store , and I wasted so much time with Ashley by the time I went into the store there was no time left to shop around .

Very disappointed

When daughter ordered a bedroom suite from the this app furniture store in Maryland it was very disappointing
She purchased in late July and didn’t get all her pieces until mid October. The first time the mattress was the only thing delivered. Then a month later when they claimed the bed suite had come in they had the wrong parts, so she had to wait longer due to them having to reorder the correct part and waiting for it to come in. Then having to wait for the delivery company to be able to deliver the items due to short staff.

When I called corporate to complained they informed me that they couldn’t help me, that we had to deal with the store direct. Which I find more disappointing. Which tells me no one wants to take responsibility for the bad service received

Absolute worst shopping experience EVER!

Only got one star because I couldn’t give Zero!
They’re happy to take your money but sure don’t concern themselves with actually delivering your purchased items. We will NEVER shop this app Furniture/HomeStore again. The most horrible customer service, from Frank, the Manager at the CHARLESTON location and Jordan, the actual sales associate from whom we purchased (but could never be bothered to return her customer’s calls), to the distribution center which is nothing more than a very poorly operated robo-system. The CHARLESTON personnel were completely ignorant to the delivery process. I very much regret purchasing from this app HomeStore and won’t make that mistake again, nor would I ever recommend them.

Poor Customer Service

I purchased my last item in November 2019. I was told my estimated delivery date would be 2 - 6 weeks. Well we are at the sixth week. I called the store the first time. I was given a fax number to customer service. Call the store a second time spoke to the manager was given another number to call. Now keep in mind not one person attempted to contact me to give an update on my furniture. I spoke to a nasty lady in need of customer service training. I was told I would have to wait another three weeks. Now I am not happy because I shouldn't be reaching out to the store. Also, my furniture was paid in full the day that I purchased it.

Order

Ordered almost $1,000 of furniture. I sent 2 e-mails to customer service because I had not received my order nor been contacted regarding my order. 6 days later when I called to inquire about delivery and an item being 4 days late, I was told that the this app app had issues and the confirmation number and charge to my credit card had to be reversed so now I have to order my furniture again which was at least an hour or two process the first time. Very unhappy about this process and the possibility of Ashley glitching again yet charging my credit card and not receiving the furniture I ordered.

When I went into the store, the customer service provided was outstanding. The representative was very professional and got me the best deal possible. I would highly recommend you go in. DO NOT BUY ONLINE

One of my packages was damaged and the glass lamp was busted when i opened the box. Tried to contact their customer service and i don’t think that department even exists. I have waited on hold total over 3 hours. When my call did finally go through and started ringing it immediately dropped the call. Absolutely no customer service. I will never buy furniture here again. I had heard so many great things about this company and the quality of the furniture but if this is how they treat their customers who cares if they sell great furniture. Absolutely ridiculous and very disappointed.

Great store I will go back for my next bed. BIG SHOUT OUT TO ANDRE I will come back he is not only there to help you find what you need/want he is there to make sure you get what you need in order for you to be comfortable and happy in whatever you are looking for GREAT YOUNG MAN. Good outlet store at best

If you want broken mismatched items without remedy use Ashley or in person store but their items are not warranted as promised and you may even get mismatched items at full price and be stuck paying for it. Best advice is go to the outlet if you want anything from them and if you don’t see what you want just wait and they will get it soon! Local franchises are allowed to use their own “corporate office” to decline the most obvious flaws in items and refuse deliver correct items. Given 1 star only because the furniture is nice just a mess.

Delivery service is not good.

Several times we were told that our bed and mattresses were scheduled to be delivered. Only to find out the mattresses we not in but wanted to deliver the bed frame. After going through this a few times, finally they scheduled a complete delivery. They called last night saying the foot board was not in. This morning we called and they said the rails were missing. Who knows what we will receive this afternoon. All I know is after spending 8,000 on a bed, you will never see an this app truck at my house again.

Horrible service

The girl helping us gave us bad information. She had to ring it my order up several times due to overcharging and now my account is locked because she forget to remove the duplicate ticket. I called synchrony who said I had to call the store but their phone system is broken and I can’t even call them. The store is an hour away and I’m pretty frustrated. The delivery was a day late and had to come in 2 different trucks since they lost part of the order. This experience has been pretty bad.
