Very sneaky

VideoCrop needs to be more upfront. I downloaded it because I’m just now planning to start a yt channel and need to be able to resize videos to fit YouTube’s format, and it worked great the first two or three times but then it says I can’t edit anymore because I need to pay for VideoCrop . Now I know a lot of apps have it this way where you can only use a feature a few times and then you have to pay for it, but at least those apps are upfront about that. I don’t remember reading anything where it said I could only use VideoCrop a few times before having to pay. And I don’t mind paying for VideoCrop because I will be needing it in the future and it worked pretty well, it was quick and easy, but $2.99 a week is very tedious and I’ve never used an app that charged me weekly. Monthly or yearly subscriptions are much better in my opinion especially with the way I get paid. I won’t say I can’t afford $3 a week, but I’d rather pay $12 a month. And idk if I’ll be using VideoCrop every single week which means I’ll most definitely have to cancel the subscription every time I think I won’t use it and then get it back when I think i will which is a lot of work.

Complete package for video editing

Okay... I didn’t find any problem when I use this, Honestly. I can crop my video with every possible format including free cropping feature!! Isn’t good enough? Obviously good. Not only that, it helps me to trim my videos according to my wish. Whenever I’m a premium user it offers me lots of music collection. I’m a YouTuber, that’s why I always make my videos with some recoded audio and some time I prefer my own music. It’s very much comfortable to sharing videos in every social network. By the way, VideoCrop may be more flexible if advertising time reduce. That is terrible 😱😱 That all from my opinion.

2.99 weekly is ridiculous

I recently downloaded this application loved it until I saw that you have to pay 2.99 a week to use it and that’s quite alright your product you can whatever you like with it. I just want to let everyone know that there are free apps that do the day thing this does no quality lost at all. Search “video crop” in VideoCrop market only difference is this icon is orange and has the movie clapper at the top of the icons image. Not taking anything away from this developer but let’s be serious now 2.99 a month how often will users be utilizing VideoCrop. Unless your in film or film school a cinematographer YouTuber you will probably be using VideoCrop here an there as needed. One thing that rubs me the wrong way is the developers response to people speaking on like 2.99 a week is a great deal. I could see if you charged 50 cents to a dollar for random utilizing but 2.99 wether you use it or not pffffft. To anyone owning a phone this is a rip off. No response needed developer 👎🏾

Not Mad, Just Disappointed.

I remember I used to use VideoCrop to crop lots of videos, whether they be for jokes or personal content I filmed myself. It was an easy to use application, especially since it was right on your phone. Very efficient for cropping out watermarks and the likes from other video editing apps. I came back to VideoCrop awhile ago and realized that you have all these other things on it! I was conflicted at first, but brushed it off because at least I could still just crop things, correct? Nope. You have to pay MONEY to actually get use out of the apps MAIN feature. I was actually saddened that the creators have become THIS money hungry. It’s how all apps are these days. It’s saddening. There’s nothing wrong with charging people for extra features, because they’re, well, extra! When you begin taking money for the feature that is in the actual title of VideoCrop itself, though, is incredibly scummy and beyond annoying for consumers. Sorry, but that is just my take on it. Used to be a nice, simple app, but now it has been taken over by money-hungry creators.

Only gives you one free edit. Developers please read!

I only got one free edit before it cut me off and tried to force me to buy the full version. It had great potential, but it would have been way better to have someone pay to remove ads, to remove a watermark, or buy extra features. I hope the developers see this, because they need to know that cutting someone off completely after only one try is not enough to judge VideoCrop properly and only encourages them to delete it altogether to find something better (which is what I did)

EDIT: All I got after writing this review was a copy-and-pasted response that made no sense to what I was saying and proves the developers either have no idea what I’m talking about or they don’t read these. ONE. TRY. IS. NOT. ENOUGH. TO. DECIDE. IF. YOU. LIKE. THE. APP. Also hint: (there’s another app on VideoCrop Store that does the exact same thing and doesn’t charge. So you guys are wasting your time thinking I’m gonna pay over $150 a year for this)

Apparently there’s a mass error for those who’ve paid you $

For the past 3 days when I try using VideoCrop , which I use almost daily, and when I open VideoCrop i’m met with a screen informing me I need to purchase a pro subscription/restore purchase to use paid features. If I choose to restore purchases it says complete. But still the pro features are locked. When I do the purchase process I get a message stating i’m already subscribed to this apps pro subscription and my only options being to hit ok or manage. Well I finally decided to try choosing ‘manage’ so I could cancel/fresh purchase pro hoping it to be a fix.

It did not fix it. Just like others recently leaving reviews I just get the prompt “CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE” no matter what method of correction I attempt at fixing the issue and actually have your app give me access to the features I have already given you money to use

Not free & trial is inadequate

**Review update**
“You’ve received a developer response to your review of Video Crop – Trim & Cut Videos”

Their response was exactly the same as it is to most if not all of the negative reviews, and speaks to NONE if people’s concerns.(aka canned crap)

Beware of the positive reviews, if I were to guess, I am thinking they are fake reviews. I say this due to the fact so many are expressing their difficulty in truly testing VideoCrop and/or the business practices of this developer and some radondo pops in and blasts out some glorious review? Like seriously, is anyone going to just throw what amounts to a lot of money in VideoCrop world to some untested, invalidated unknown? I am thinking not!
And now, back to my original and honest review!
—————————————
VideoCrop may or may not be fine, after 1 edit of a short video where I cropped a vid, it basically says screw you you have to buy.
Here is the thing, this lists as free It certainly is NOT, they made me watch a stupid advertisement 3 freakin times they should pay me for my time AND there is no way for anyone to comprehensively test out VideoCrop after one silly edit, it takes a little while just to learn the features!
I immediately deleted and wouldn’t waste my time if the company gave me a 100% free pro version now!
Can’t stand scammy or poorly planned business practices!

This was 5 Stars until...

Look so VideoCrop is great. I bought the full version and everything I love it. Up until yesterday. I recently started downloading Netflix Stand-Ups so I can listen to them on the road. They take up next to no space. But whenever I have them downloaded VideoCrop keeps telling me “there is not enough space to export this video” which is annoying because there is tons of space. I dont understand why it keeps doing this. So everytime I want to crop a video from VideoCrop, I have to go back and delete the Netflix Stand-Ups, only to redownload them once the exporting is over. It’s a tedious task, and if that got fixed and/or addressed VideoCrop would regain it’s 5 Star rating from me.

Just my Two Cents.

Paid for service did not receive!

I paid for VideoCrop via the weekly subscription. Each time I tried to download a video I had edited, I was directed to a page to subscribe to VideoCrop (that I was already subscribed to!) and given a message that I had reached my limit of free edits. When I tried to press the “renew subscription” button, I just got the message that I was already subscribed to the paid version of VideoCrop , and that I can’t connect to iTunes... and yet, here I am, leaving a review.... ??????? So I’m paying for a service that I’m not receiving. Don’t waste your money or time. Oh, also, I’ve been subscribed to the paid version of VideoCrop for quite some time. I have screenshots of all the messages I’ve received... one of the benefits you supposedly get from the paid subscription is no ads, and yet, I have to wait 5 seconds for an ad to play before I can open a video to edit. Seriously?

Not free, deceiving

I totally understand that not all apps are free and I have no problem with paying for an app that does what I need. I just wish it had been more clear that you only get one free edit before you have to spend $12 a month. It felt pretty deceitful. I was fine watching all the ads to be able to do my very simple edit (a single crop). For the next edit, I was really confused why it wouldn’t let me save even though I got through all the ads again. The screen that tells you to purchase isn’t clear that you just used up your one free edit. It’s fine if your app costs money, just be upfront about it! I’m not going to spend $12 a month for a simple crop so it’s not the right app for me. It might be the right app for someone else who is looking to spend money on all the other features. Being deceitful about it is just going to frustrate people!

ONE FREE EDIT?!!

I don’t usually write reviews to many apps but I was so mad at VideoCrop I had to write one.. I’m very upset that VideoCrop kept showing me the free trial and I refused to pay! But then it forces you! I recommend to not use VideoCrop because of the one free edit! Now VideoCrop is useful only for once and not twice. (Unless you pay) I was making my sister a slideshow while I was at France but I had to crop it so I did and then I noticed I messed up with the cropping so I decided to edit it but It made me buy the free trial and I got so triggered at VideoCrop I DELETED it. Now I wrote this review to say that you should actually not do a free edit, if VideoCrop didn’t it could’ve gotten more good reviews, Not to be rude or anything but please fix the one free edit thing that would probably make things better to VideoCrop!
And I would maybe download it again 😁
And I could finally fix my slideshow!! 😃

Cool App but......

Not worth $155 bucks a yr for a subscription at $2.99 a week you should think about flat rates such as how other apps charge becuz what makes your app any different it’s fast and easy access no doubt when you need to do some quick editing corrections if you are a run and gun videographer such as myself however I don’t want to pay to use VideoCrop weekly I do my post editing at home with Final Cut Pro I already have these options within my software so maybe offer a 3/6 or 12 month Subscriptions plan becuz it’s sort of like your sticking people up it’s better to give options that way one doesn’t feel like they are being stuck up (just a thought) but it’s durable when I need to do some quick video editing corrections on the go when i’m using my phone or ipad

Cannot Use It Like I Used To

For the few months previous I was using it it was wonderful so I could post those little 15 second snippets of my favorite movie scenes to Instagram. Now that I updated it I was only allowed to crop one video and a few days later it told me that I had already used my one free video crop. Honestly? That’s complete absurdity. I was perfectly fine with the ads but now I’m forced to use a subscription interface that I don’t want to use. If they wanted to limit the amount of crop edits so they can entice the user to use their subscription service I completely understand BUT how about just letting VideoCrop allow the person one edit a day? That I sincerely wouldn’t be mad at even if they did have a roll ad. Not everyone wants to pay $12 a month for a simple crop app.

Awesome!

This is the best and most user-friendly video editing app that I could find, and I tried countless ones. It does mention the pro version in the description so please don’t complain that you have to spend $4.99. It allows you to edit two videos for free to try before you buy, and it’s worth every penny. My only request would be to add a Duplicate feature, so that you can duplicate the same video over and over again to make it longer. I would definitely recommend this video editor over any others. It is very easy to use and it does a great job.

Great!

I really, really like VideoCrop! I use IMovie for a lot of my video editing, and anyone else who does this knows about the weird was that it gets cropped. VideoCrop is free and the best solution to the problem. Until further notice, 100%, 10/10, recommended.

Edit: so, if I had to recommend anything then you should defiantly state that VideoCrop has limited use, as many people are upset about that. Plus, I'm able to find glitches and get the free crops multiple times, so you should work on that.
