Video Crop - Resize Video Reviews

I had VideoCrop called Video Crop, but I deleted it today and wrote a bad review because of how greedy and untrustworthy VideoCrop was. I looked for a new app to crop my videos, and the others didn’t look very hot either. They had very bad reviews and they wanted subscriptions and premiums, etc. That kind of stuff. I never pay for anything on apps. It’s ridiculous. I found VideoCrop, and so I looked at the reviews. I was really surprised because VideoCrop had really good ratings and reviews. I downloaded it right after. I tried cropping a video. It was quick and easy! I probably sound like a robot, but it’s true. It was straight to the point and except for a couple ads, it’s the best video cropping app I’ve used so far. I said “Is this Real..?” because I have finally found a believable app. I would recommend VideoCrop to anyone, really. **After getting VideoCrop , I saw a lot of 1 star reviews and ratings saying there’s a bug that won’t go away. I don’t know anything about that because it hasn’t happened to me. Just remember, the glitch is nobody’s fault. Not the developers or you.** Thank you and have a good day. :)

I was surprised to see all the negative reviews?! If you want a professional editing app with bells and whistles, spend the money and buy one. This is simple, straightforward, and really easy to use! Actually, it's as simple as cropping a picture in your photo gallery. And, unlike some other apps like it, they don't add watermarks and make you pay to remove them.

I have downloaded all the apps from this developer. Crop app, edit/cut/trim app, compressor app, and the special effects app. They're all great and all free. For every, sometimes every other, video you edit, you may have to X out of 1 ad before you start and occasionally, there is one that you have to wait an entire 5 seconds before you're able to close it. And maybe there's an barely noticeable, small bottom ad banner, but it's so unobtrusive that I can't even remember or say for sure if there is one or if there's one there all the time. Personally, closing one ad is perfectly reasonable and not a big deal... considering you have to do that for many paid apps too.

Overall I think that this is a pretty decent video cropping application. It offers a really good manual cropping setting and other useful presets.

I also really appreciate the fact that VideoCrop doesn't force you to export your work in Apple's proprietary .mov video format, like so many video-related App Store programs do today. But, instead, it gives you the choice of .mov format, or the better choice in my opinion, the .mp4 video container. So, thanks so much for that forethought and consideration.

The only thing that keeps me from giving VideoCrop 5-stars. Is, that there isn't a way to pay and remove the advertisements available right now. I would really appreciate it a lot if you would please either offer an in-app purchase to permanently remove the ad's. Or, a separate Pro, paid version of this program that doesn't contain advertisements please.

So how I found VideoCrop...I was watching this girl on YouTube/YT and she was showing us how to remove any watermarks and she used video crop. so I am like hmm maybe I should download it and I found VideoCrop. Before I download it I read the reviews because some apps have bugs (not actually bugs lol anyways.....)the reviews where so good but some are saying there are bugs (remember not real bugs)so far VideoCrop is good for me. But the 1 thing I really want to talk about is when I downloaded it was black but, of course I just needed to clear the data so I had reset it but yeah after that it worked VideoCrop is very good but keep in mind that you will want to rest your device so the data will be clear I know this is long lol sorry love VideoCrop tho

This an amazingly straightforward and easy to use app. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, with no fuss, quickly, free, and while displaying minimal ads. Honestly, I think the bad reviewers must have their own rival apps up for sale or something, because what is there to dislike here? A 100% free video cropping app that doesn't even add a watermark, and renders the finished video with nice quality is a must have in my opinion, so this is an easy 5 stars, no question. You'll need to be realistic though, and if you're looking for a full featured video editing suite, then this is not that. However, if you just want to do one thing, 3which is crop videos on your phone for free, then look no further! VideoCrop does that, and only that, VERY WELL!

I downloaded VideoCrop yesterday after my friend recommended it to me to crop videos. I tried it out last night and when I would click on a video, it never loaded but I never went farther than that, blaming it on my poor home WiFi. Today at school, I click it open using the school WiFi and a vpn and click a video (which didn’t load) but clicked the check to move on and instantly got an ad with an arrow to visit the website or an x to click out of it. Every time I try to exit out of the ad or just didn’t click the arrow to visit the website it would crash and go back to my home screen. Every time. And it wouldn’t load my videos ever. I deleted it and redone loaded it and it didn’t change at all. My friend who recommended this doesn’t have VideoCrop anymore. Idk if this is usual but I don’t think it’s just my phones fault since I’ve deleted it and downloaded it again. Fix the glitch/bugs, I really need an app to crop videos

I downloaded VideoCrop thinking I can finally crop my videos so I go in VideoCrop and press the button you’re supposed to and it takes me to a black screen. I didn’t think to much of it so I closed VideoCrop and opened it again and this time it worked. So I pressed the video and cropped it to my liking and press save. On my screen comes a made that says it’s loading so I wait... and wait... and wait. It never loaded, instead it started on 0% for ten minutes. It’s not even like my video was long, it was ten minutes. I thought it was a little glitch so reinstalled it. This time after I picked my video I was sent to a black screen. Running out of hope, I reluctantly closed VideoCrop then opened it and it finally worked! Fast but not so easy

VideoCrop does 100% of what it’s supposed to do. It doesn’t deserve a bad review because I use VideoCrop slot for editing videos and just for fun. I love how VideoCrop is so simple to use and it can really help make your videos look sooo much better because I have definitely used this for a little while and it is amazing! I would really recommend for someone who likes or wants to crop videos. Again I use this for cutting out backgrounds that other editing apps give you when you save a video. Then I can either keep my video, post it or whatever. Overall, this is an awesome app, has a lot of great uses, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do, crop videos. Okay so I wasn’t gonna do a review. But I have to say, I’m SO pleasantly surprised. First of all, I have only used VideoCrop for one video so far. I do timelapses and I wanted to crop out the bottom of the video. I installed VideoCrop to do so and I was SO HAPPY that I could free-hand crop the video. I can choose exactly what I need to cut out, without cutting out other important landscape. Secondly, and MOST IMPORTANTLY to me, there was NO WATERMARK! I haven’t paid for anything in VideoCrop yet and I was able to crop and save a video with beautiful quality and NO watermark. I’m so grateful. I’ll be keeping VideoCrop. And I’m more than willing now to make any in-app purchases that may pop up later, although I haven’t seen any prompts yet. It’s a 5/5 review from me, mate.

VideoCrop used to be perfect. It’s simple, it does exactly what you’re expecting, and it does it well. But in recent months, the developers have started putting ads on VideoCrop . Normally, this is no big deal, but there are two big things about these ads that make VideoCrop almost unusable now:

1. The ads are extremely in your face: oftentimes, the ads are 10-30 second videos that fill up your entire screen. There is a skip button, but it never works (more on that later) so you are forced to watch the ad all the way through.

2. You are forced to click on the ads. Next to every video ad, there is an X button to skip it if you wish. At the end of every video ad and on photo ads, there is also an X to close the ad. This button is just an image. It is impossible to click. In order to close the ad and continue using VideoCrop as normal, you have to click on the ad. You have no other option.

What used to take 30 seconds max in VideoCrop now takes well over a minute because the developers decided to show extremely intrusive ads that force you to click on them. Extremely disappointing, and I strongly urge the developers to make their ads less intrusive or just remove them all together.

If your cropping videos that will just be saved to your photos for you to watch- VideoCrop may be acceptable. But I spend hours creating content. For this one video, I was going to post on IGTV and the video needed to be cropped before posting and I had to do this on my mobile device instead of my laptop where I usually edit. I was impressed with VideoCrop until it was time to post. The video was grainy, blurry, and pixel-y. I am so disappointed. It pretty much ruined the video so I just deleted VideoCrop . After rethinking, I will say this, though- I chose to export and download at the highest quality possible from my laptop to my phone and so that might have been the explanation. Where as, taking the video on your phone and not having to go through the export and download process might reduce in automatically lower quality/storage and it might not affect it as much.

It worked perfectly before, but now it seems to just not want to work anymore. Yes, you can choose a video to crop and crop it, but the moment you click save the video image disappears, leaving only a pitch black screen where the video was supposed to be displayed. The audio works fine, but the “cropped video” is literally nothing but blackness. Its not just a glitch where its not showing in VideoCrop but you can see it when you download the video either. I downloaded the videos i tried to crop and it downloaded as a pitch black square with the audio from the original video. Honestly, if the creators want to keep VideoCrop going I suggest they fix this because apparently this has been a problem for months now. Or else the reviews are soon going to be mostly 1 star reviews like this one.

So I need to crop something out of a video, we all want that. I see this as a first choice with pretty good ratings. I crop my video and voila, it’s done. I’m not sure how long it took or how many times I used VideoCrop successfully, though, but out of nowhere everytime I cropped a video and downloaded it, it would only show a black screen. The audio was still there, but the video was just a black screen. I wasn’t sure what to do so I actually ended up deleting VideoCrop and reinstalling it. Hey, VideoCrop said it would crop videos. No telling on how many...

Found VideoCrop after trying so many ingested with ads, or that cost money and this was one of the last solutions. It was pretty quick and easy to adjust the picture of the video (got rid of the black edges, not to be confused with editing out certain parts of the video) and set aside a couple ads it was pretty quick about it. The tool that snaps it to fit the exact size was also a nice tool to have. You still have to watch a couple ads to use this but it wasn’t more than a few. Probably the best app on here that does this for free.

Okay so I downloaded VideoCrop like a two months ago to crop videos and it was working REALLY well. I love VideoCrop ! But then one time I tried to crop a video and saved it to my photos album but it just keeps turning out all black. I re-downloaded VideoCrop and restarted my phone to see if that’ll change anything, but unfortunately it didn’t. It still came out as pitch black. I even went to my settings to view VideoCrop it’s put on “Read and Write”. When I re-downloaded VideoCrop I gave access to my photos and videos for VideoCrop . I suppose try to fix this problem? I really do love VideoCrop , it’s just this problem that kinda annoys me. Thank you for the great app though.

I’ve seen so many others apps just like this one that require you to pay a monthly fee in order to use them, and I was truly very relieved when I saw that this wasn’t one of those apps. It took me a long time of searching to find this, and it’s exactly what I had been looking for! VideoCrop is free, easy to use, very efficient, works perfectly, and exports high quality videos right back into your camera roll. VideoCrop seriously outdoes every other one out there.

VideoCrop is great tho there are a few things about it I dislike. I am an editor and I make edits mobile and it’s pretty hard finding good editing apps. But VideoCrop helped me the most except every time I use it the quality turns horrible at first before the cropping it’s perfect quality then after it’s like I took a video out of a shattered camera lens if you could fix that, that would be very helpful as well as change the auto crop options such as 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, etc and make is less larger but smaller and have different buttons to different crops instead of having to double tap the crop size. I’m in love with VideoCrop. I’ve been trying to find way to crop videos for months now. I’ve tried many other apps. They all weren’t that good. But when I found VideoCrop and looked at the reviews, it was all five or four stars! I downloaded it and i fell in love. It has I high quality, and it’s quick and easy. The only thing is, having an add after each video I crop, is slightly annoying. Having an add is ok once in a while, but to me, not all the time. Besides that, I think VideoCrop is amazing! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

When I downloaded VideoCrop, there was something that I was trying to edit, and I had no problems the first time I did it, the video quality remained the same and the crop was perfect. However, the second time I tried to crop something, the audio was there, but there was no video, it was just a black screen. I experimented a bit and put the video I was planning to crop into iMovie and downloaded it (there was no editing done). I then put the downloaded version of the video into VideoCrop and it worked perfectly. So why is it that the video seems to only show when the original video was downloaded but not when it was screen recorded.

I needed to crop a video for an edit I made, so I had to download an app to crop my video. I purchased a different crop video app to do the work, but disappointed, it told me I had to do a trial that includes money. So I deleted that app and downloaded this one. I wasn’t sure if this was gonna work either but I had to at least try. So I used it, and suprisingly it worked! I was so glad to finally find an app the lets me do my work without paying a stupid “trial.” And if you’re reading this, I highly suggest you buy/purchase/ download VideoCrop! 👍👍

I love VideoCrop - it’s simple, easy to use, and does exactly what I need. I’m so shocked that VideoCrop exists - I can literally crop my videos how I want to, no money needed, no watermark, and as far I’ve seen, no significant or any decrease in video quality! Processing videos and then saving them don’t take an unnecessarily long time, even for my longer videos (around 4 minutes).

My only suggestion for VideoCrop is to add the ability to simply type in the dimensions you want for the video along with the physically dragging the corners to crop the video. Sometimes when I use the dragging functions it skips over a few dimensions (e.g. 724 to 720 or something like that). If the function were there, I think VideoCrop would be even better.
