- App does not work when paired with iPad and TV adapter
- App does not allow for changing volume, checking battery, etc.
- App does not always connect to hearing aids
In the last few days the streaming equaliser has started repeated losing the frequency settings I have applied and reverting to default. This sometimes happens several times in a minute. I am using it on a Samsung A52s 5g. It worked very well before this.
When I open the app I can only get a screen saying that the app is trying to pair my aids. They are paired already. The only thing I can do is tap Try without hearing aids. This brings up demo mode but I cannot get out of it.
When on phone call (IPHONE 14) my voice is very hard to understand (as reported by callers), Also, when phone "rings" sound does not go automatically to ears. This is a recent problem, seemingly connected to change of IPHONE from XR to 14. Very disappointed.
Can’t get out of demo mode. I click leave demo mode, it tells me to pair aids, but they are already paired.
It keeps on disconnecting when streaming. Its really bad.
The app on my Android phone keeps resetting over and over. In the meantime I have my TV sound thru the hearing aid but the volume is too loud and I cannot adjust it because the app just keeps reloading over and over.
Oticon on app keeps adjusting the volume down and loosing pairing to hearing aids.
Hearing fitness. I have been wearing the Oticon for 8+ hrs. Shows 3.41 and then after repairing with device it showed 3.39. It IS paired and connected and battery is 80%.
App goes to demo mode. Can’t shut off. Also freezes on how to pair pages.
Cannot connect or get out of demo mode???---------------help please- Bill
After iPhone updates , APP is stuck in Demo mode . Will mot leave Demo mode .
Can’t get out of demo mode on my iphone
Hearing aids disconnect for no reason and sometimes TV connects unexpectedly + today I had a radio program coming through my hearing aids and it was not from any source known to me. The phone was not connected to the hearing aids but the programme kept on until I switched hearing aids off. Too many problems and I cannot reconnect several times a day. Really unhappy
Since my expensive oticon more hearing aids were updated in October, they no longer connect with iphone 12 for phone calls. I keep rebooting, turning off device and bluetooth. Works at first and then does not. Cannot count on hearing aid connecting to phone. Would never have purchased these if I knew issues.
I have iPhone 14 with iOS 16.0.1 and Oticon more with firmware 1.3.0. Many audio functions do not work. Amongst them: videos on YouTube or NY Times podcasts and videos, system sounds like the mail sent swoosh, other notification sounds, and the overwhelming majority of instagram videos ( some do come through). It appears that my iPad with iOS 15 works ok in these areas. Apple is trying to figure out a solution to my issues. So far no good.
I'm not able to pair my new Oticon Ruby miniRITE to my iPhone 12 with OticonON. I've followed up on al instructions, but the MFI-acessibility page doesn't find the hearing aid. I've the latests IOS version installed, Bluetooth is on, the OticonOn app is installed. I've tried it a lot, according instructions, with restarts of all possible elements. But nothing changes. Pleas help.
Continued on August 16, 2022: Oticon company and the local office talk about "low energy bluetooth". I had a different iphone and bluetooth hearing aids before these present ones and had no problems with either the iphone or the bluetooth app and never heard about "low energy bluetooth". I changed to upgrade to 5G. Many things use “low energy bluetooth”. Do other hearing aid companies have better luck with “low energy bluetooth”? I don’t know what is going on.
As stated by customer above on July 10, I have the same model aids (More 1) and have the same issue using the app with my iphone 12 mini: the app says one aid or the other is disconnected, but I can still hear the tv in the aid that is supposedly disconnected. In addition with these replaced aids (just like the first pair) I still have the same issues!! Sometimes I have to re-pair the aids and phone, and again like the first pair it is not holding the volume that I dial it to. I have been to the Apple store twice over the last 4 months and two different techs did a diagnostic test and gave me a print out of the result which showed IT IS NOT THE IPHONE, it is the APP. All other apps on my phone work perfectly. Oticon company and the local office talk about "low energy bluetooth". Oticon on app keeps telling me that it does not recognise my hearing aids and I need to pair them, despite being paired in my IPhone and controllable. I follow the instructions time and time again and the same message appears in the oticon app - totally unimpressed!!!
Oticon ON app won't stay connected to Oticon More-1 hearing aids. One side or or the other keeps saying it is disconnected. The hearing aid is NOT actually disconnected (I can hear it), but it won't let me change its volume or any other parameters. Turning Oticon OFF completely (not just minimized), and then reloading the app, fixes it for a few minutes, but then it goes right back to "disconnected." Very disappointing. I have discussed the problem with my audi, and he thinks the problem might be with the iPhone, and not the hearing aids. Don't know, but very dissatisfied after all I paid for these aids.
The app does not recognize my hearing aid even though it is visible in the accessibility part of iPhone settings
They work . They don't work. Says connected. 5 minutes later not connected. Won't come out of demo mode. Have gone to office they get them working I get out to my car they don't work. I have shut off, restart, and reload app. So fustrated. They worked well for a year. Going on my second and just want to throw out. I definitely will recommend people do not buy. What is the point if one day they work and then they dont. I thought it was operator error but I don't think its the issue. Have had them checked every couple of months. At wits end.
Pairing with my phone crashes everyday, I have Galaxy s10, Android phone, I've had these hearing aids 10 days, I will be returning for my money back.
Attempting to start Monitored aids to App. App turns my phone Bluetooth app off repeatedly. Would appreciate advice. Brian
I cannot unmute my Samsung Galaxy A52 5G phone with Android v12. The microphone icon is either grey with a line through it, or green with a line through it and the person I've called cannot hear me. I can hear them through my miniRITE R Oticon More hearing aids.
Hearing aids won’t stay connected to iPhone Oticon one app. Must shut down phone, restart, and connect hearing aids 1-2 times a day. Updates to app and iPhone haven’t improved issue. Can’t count on aids being connected when phone call comes in.
When using app and trying to listen to music or answer a call only one hearing devise works nothing in one ear. Sometimes it is the left sometimes the right. Occasionally they both work. I am using a Samsung S9 and it should work I forced stop app cleared data and cache, uninstalled it and reinstalled it and nothing works. I just got them yesterday and doubt that I will Be keeping them. To expensive to have this happen.
Increasing random failed pairing. Removing app and re-installing temporarily solves the situation but so very frustrating. Motorola 50 with Android 12 installed.
The Oticon app on my iPhone 12 has not worked properly since the 15.4.1 update. Now it is hung up on the Pair Your Hearing aids page. PLease help
