Update: STILL no resolution. Had someone email a couple weeks ago saying he was looking into it. Still no response. I would rather walk that get financing from Ally again.

This institution has the MOST incompetent employees I’ve ever dealt with. Seeming as I’m coming up on 20 cars in the last 10 years, I have dealt with a lot of them. These pathetic people nailed my credit while waiting for Gap insurance to pay. When they didn’t pay, I paid the car off. Now today, 6 WEEKS LATER, they nailed me for another late payment and my account is still delinquent. I just got the letter 2 weeks ago saying, “thank you for paying off your vehicle.” From Ally. These “people” are really really disgusting. Their customer service is gross. I’d have more pride flipping burgers that working for such a horrible company. I’ll keep this up every week until the matter is solved. Then I will leave it up for as long as it’s taking to fix your pathetic mistake.

How AllyAutoFinance has a 5 star rating when majority of the reviews are leaving just 1 star blows my mind. Definitely shows that this rating scheme is rigged!

AllyAutoFinance is always having technical issues, as well as the website. Any time I attempt to log in, AllyAutoFinance displays the same error message, “Ally is unavailable, if you need us, call us.” I’m unsure how people are putting 5 stars for this company. They’re consistently having technical issues with their online services. For years, they’ve been stating that they’re working to resolve the issue but clearly have not. Either their IT employees are straight trash at their job and cannot resolve the issue and need to be RETRAINED or the company simply does not care. 10/10, would not recommend this company again.

While the website is extremely easy to navigate; I have an issue with paying with my debit card. When I’m in the middle of inputting my information into the offsite website for debit cards, everything is interrupted due to my short session on the Ally website. Typically, I use the checkings account; however, when I’m attempting to pay my bill because it’s a few days past my due date and my session keeps closing out; it is frustrating. Please allow the sessions to be a little longer so that I can make my payment with my debit card. I have to ensure that I type in everything correctly but I don’t type slowly. Please fix this. Thank you

Been using AllyAutoFinance the last 3 months since Ally was awesome enough to offer me a good loan on a 2021 camaro and AllyAutoFinance has worked flawlessly for me. no complaints.

i think all the old complaints from a while ago are where all the 1 stars are coming from. they’ve changed since then

I tried logging in to AllyAutoFinance and was not able to. I called customer service and they said to delete and reinstall AllyAutoFinance so I did but no luck. I tried again and they said they would get it figured out on there end and yet again I couldn’t login to AllyAutoFinance nor access there website. I finally try turning my vpn off and accessing AllyAutoFinance and what do you know it works perfect smh! To sum it up they won’t let you access there app or site if you have any kind of security that blocks them from getting ALL of your data!

I have been with financial since 2019 and I have been on autopay since the start. This past year I have been given an email every due date that my auto payment has been suspended. I have called several times to try and get this issue fixed and everytime I call they say it will be fixed by next month. This has yet to be fixed and today it suspended my payment last second yet AGAIN and now my payment is past due. Stay away from ally auto.

AllyAutoFinance is crashes all the time. For the past 3 months I get this screen telling me my info is unavailable to call support to fix the issue. I’ve called many times with absolutely no result. I can’t use AllyAutoFinance I can only use the website. AllyAutoFinance is trash

I downloaded, I put in 3 pieces of info, it found my auto loan, I created an account, all of my load data was correct, I set up auto payments….DONE! Works WAY better than my old loan company’s app. I was in and out in under 5 minutes. GREAT APP!

It was really easy to set up auto pay do I don’t have to worry about it any more

The past week ally auto on AllyAutoFinance and on the website has been down. And it says if you need help call us, and doesn’t even provide a phone number. I’m worried my car payment I had scheduled for the 8th won’t go through and they didn’t even bother sending out an email that they are experiencing problems or what the problem even is…. Always a problem with this company, might just refinance with a different company.

When AllyAutoFinance is actually working it’s very user friendly and easy to use. However, it doesn’t always work. I’ve been trying to change my name on my car loan for like 2 months and it never works. Trying to actually get someone on the phone is seemingly impossible and AllyAutoFinance is conveniently “under maintenance” every time I need to use it, yet nothing ever seems to get fixed.

I would give it zero stars if I could. I downloaded AllyAutoFinance set up every thing and all I get is messages saying it can’t display the information at this time ( I have been getting this message for the last month). When I go to the payment section it says it has no data to show. Which I know is not true since I have been making the payment on time. I not sure how people are giving AllyAutoFinance great reviews unless they are fake

I can not stand AllyAutoFinance. I called to try and get help because my account is locked and I need to make a payment but everyone they’re either hanging up or not answering at all. I am calling within business hours so they can’t say that I’m not. The phone rings and then goes press this if the agent you spoke with was good or bad, like I haven’t even talked to anyone! Ridiculous. I’ll be looking for another place that may have better customer service than them.

I used to love AllyAutoFinance until last February…. A year ago, when all of a sudden it said I was unable to make payments due to my account status. I had to log in to their website, which also won’t save my log-in credentials. There were no issues with my account then and there aren’t now yet here we are almost year later and I still can’t use AllyAutoFinance . Disappointing. I really just want to be able to use it.

Buying a car through these guys was the biggest car buying mistake I’ve ever made. This company has fraudulently over drafted my bank account without my permission. Even though my bill is paid on time every month, I have caught them taking out multiple month payments at a time. I can’t wait till I can get my car refinanced. I’d considering going with another bank that even costs me more just to get rid of this crap!

App initially worked with my iOS devices, but has not for over 6 months now. I contacted their support team and was told it’s a known issue and they don’t have a fix for it, not sure if they ever will have a fix and to just use the web browser. If you have iOS, don’t even bother downloading unless you like filling up your screen with placeholder app shortcuts that don’t work.

Had it running for 6 months and after calling their CSR network various times I can now confirm that even though it never gave me any information about my car or my payments or my balance AllyAutoFinance is far from serving any purpose.
A waist of time and memory on my phone. Sorry to have downloaded it and try to use it. Say goodbye while it’s still early

Can’t even use AllyAutoFinance because the bank is stuck on updating their systems. I initially had thought I tried to use it during off hours and mostly they do their updating their system at that time. Why is it saying that on a broad daylight too? This makes no sense. Have AllyAutoFinance received a hack threat which they’re not letting us customers know about it? Have their security got breached?

Downloaded AllyAutoFinance after leasing a car through Ally. Signed up online and had no issues, but when trying to login to AllyAutoFinance , I get a message saying “app unavailable, please call us.” Had this message every day for 3 days, haven’t been able to login at all. Called Ally, told me they would have it running again in a couple hours. Still no luck.

AllyAutoFinance is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!!

I wish I could give it "0" stars! It doesn't matter what day or time I open AllyAutoFinance ! My vehicle information is NEVER available and the site is under maintenance....FOR MONTHS????? I end up having to log in through laptop or browser. So what's the point of AllyAutoFinance ??? I deleted this useless app and log in without issue through my browser!

Minus the having to wait due to maintenance to make my payment this month AllyAutoFinance has been great. It won’t let me change the name of the account though even though I edit it and have talked to them it never changes. The point of AllyAutoFinance though is to make payments and check on how much you owe and AllyAutoFinance does a great job of that. All my payments go through quickly! I recommend using AllyAutoFinance if you have a loan with Ally!

I don’t understand all the bad reviews. AllyAutoFinance always works perfect for me. My only problem is that when I go to make my payment, the default payment date is not today’s date. I always schedule my payment for the due date and then I have to cancel it and make it for today’s date. I don’t want to pay my payments on the due date when I’m paying it today. It is really convenient To be able to schedule my payments and see my balance on AllyAutoFinance , rather than having to go on the website every time. Touch ID would also be a nice addition.

AllyAutoFinance definitely needs improvements, but if all you need to do is check the balance, double check your due date, and make a payment with a cc you already have saved on your account than it’s fine.

The review isn’t for AllyAutoFinance , it’s for the customer service and lack of knowledge.

Awful customer service, does not follow through on ANY request you might have. I twice asked them to change my monthly due date, and twice was ignored, resulting in having to pay my auto loan the same week as my rent. They said “oh we show that you called in and cancelled that request”... no I did not. Then when I wanted to make a large payment towards my principal only, I called ahead and asked how to correctly go about that...they said no problem, principal only. When I made the large payment, they took interest out of it. I called back and said what happened and they said it will charge interest... I argued with them forever about that because I had already made my monthly payment before I deposited the large payment meant for principal only. Refinanced immediately! I recommend the same!! Worst customer service, they do not speak or understand English very well nor do they follow through with your requests. Terrible.

This is supposed to make paying your loans easier but it’s far from it. I’ve had AllyAutoFinance for about 2 years now and they have still yet to fix there issue of when you open AllyAutoFinance it doesn’t save your info at all and won’t let you type anything in. You have to keep closing and re opening for who knows how long just so you can pay your bill. The purpose of apps like this is to make it easier for the consumers and it is by far easier to just go online and type my info in and pay it there then even try to use AllyAutoFinance. You would think a bank as enough money to be able to fund a I.T. Team to handle these types of issues but it doesn’t seem like ally cares enough. This is something I’ve never had an issue with in literally any other app with out it getting hot fixed in a week.

Pretty cool app. I mean, it is what it is. It's designed to conveniently review your acct info, standing, and to conduct payments.

It's not a "fun time" app. It's an "adult time" app- and I don't mean that in the "sexy time" kind of way.

It provides a free FICO auto score 3 score, which is neat for people like me whose lives are devoid of real excitement and search for the little victories.

It's a score STILL derived from the credit bureaus. Ally has nothing to do with it. They just show you the score for free as a cool little bonus. So don't blow your gasket at them if you don't like what you see. If you don't agree with the score, it's probably a sign to do some self reflecting and wonder why you had to finance that dirt bike to buy your step child's respect.

The only thing I wish that AllyAutoFinance had was the option to log in with your fingerprint, like for iPhone users. Instead I'm forced to remember my password like some primitive savage.

All kidding aside, useful and straightforward app. No games. Polite people.

AllyAutoFinance works it’s easy and fast. I like being able to make my payments as early as I like. I had an issue with it in the past where I couldn’t tell if my payment went through so than I did it again and got charged twice and didn’t receive my refund for almost two weeks. But other than that this new upgraded version has worked for me each and every time. So I recommend it. If your like me and you live off your phone. Use AllyAutoFinance it works.

I’ve used AllyAutoFinance for 2 years. I can pay using it, but afterwards it hangs and glitches. In order to login again after just one use, I either need to restart my phone or reinstall AllyAutoFinance . No Touch ID is getting old and when they say it’s been updated it always seems the same. I give it 2 stars only because after I jump through hoops to login, I can, in fact, pay my bill. It manages virtually nothing for you, though. Don’t go with paperless billing as you’ll want to stay on top of your payments the old fashioned way. AllyAutoFinance is just too untrustworthy to use it as management tool. They should just make a brand new app and ditch this garbage, but I’m not sure Ally is really into customer service.

I used to loved AllyAutoFinance for the convenience of staying on top of my auto loan, as well as quickly and conveniently making monthly payments; however, over a few months that has changed. There’s a glitch with logging in now, when you launch AllyAutoFinance it’s freezes at the login screen enabling you to login in. I have to close and relaunch AllyAutoFinance several times to bypass that glitch. It’s completely annoying and honestly ruins the point of having AllyAutoFinance ; which is to make completing tasks simple and quick. I will be deleting AllyAutoFinance until an update is made fixing the glitch, because AllyAutoFinance is completely useless and time consuming to get it to cooperate. I’ll stick to making my payments online until AllyAutoFinance is fixed.

I’ve had AllyAutoFinance for almost a year. I try every month to use it but end up having to use online site. Only 2 or 3 times has it worked. It doesn’t retain my login information when “remember my user information is checked”. I’ve not been able to use my fingerprint ID but once. I keep getting updates reflecting “bug fixes” but not sure what could be more important than people actually logging in to use AllyAutoFinance . Not necessary to fix other bugs if no one can use it in the first place. I use many apps to pay other bills and have never had this experience. Sounds like you need to do a complete overhaul and get some technical staff and build application from scratch.

AllyAutoFinance crashes frequently, most login attempts require unlocking the account, creating new security questions and logging back in. I even have crashes during the resetting process so it often takes several attempts to actually get in. I appreciate the effort to have a mobile app and payment option but this apps needs better development and support. It should function without these issues. Additionally, it would be great if the account was compatible with Intuit's software tool Mint. It takes a lot of effort to get connectivity through the tool (several attempts weekly and it only successfully happens once every month or two). Please make the tool fully functional. Thanks

At First AllyAutoFinance didn’t wanna work!! But it was cause I didn’t have an account, I called Ally’s Customers Service and they helped me out really well.. I have had AllyAutoFinance for a year now and it’s been working just fine.. a few Months ago I had an Issue with auto pay I never activated it, but I got my money back and they help out really well on that process.. Who ever gets to ready this, just try creating the account on the browser and then try AllyAutoFinance !!

Every other financial institution in the world has a mobile app, so it's about time Ally. You'd think that with how behind the times they were in creating an app, that it'd be great right out of the gate. Wrong!!! It's completely dysfunctional. AllyAutoFinance says system temporarily unavailable on login attempts, yet when I log into the website, everything is fine. Poor UI design. Front page is a waste of space; user name entry should be there. Password entry page uses keyboard "go" button as enter instead of an actual button on the UI, also faulty thinking. Can't get beyond these foolish screens to illustrate other poorly designed features or faults but my colorful imagination sees many...
