It is very sad that you treat customers with no amount of seriousness. I happen to be out of the country and lost my token I have been on and off calls with your customer care agents on activating a soft token the codes they give end up not working and poping different error codes and I have been waiting from one 24hours to another if one cannot control his banks from wherever he is in the world then what's the use of having the mobile banking apps and all. I was taking to one agent this morning he hung up on me

The Generate OTP button appears at bottom of screen and overlaps with other icons. There is no way to select it. If you try to click on it, it automatically selects one of the icons. Does not work — please fix.

This bank app is not useful at all. It freezes and you have to keep downloading all the time. This is very frustrating. I’m sure the bank can do better.

Most useless app. It worked once and never work again requested you to reactivate but never reactivated.

I used to like GTB, but it’s really sad how they’ve fallen from grace to grass in the past few years. I can’t even confidently login with the home of completion. I’ve have my final straw though, next time I get to Nigeria, I’m definitely ditching them.

Just as it was several months back etoken refused to work . Deleted several times and reinstalled yet not working.
Error received from GTeToken ? Otp can not validate my email.

Old version works better than the updated one, I made a mistake updating GTeToken and now, I’ve been unable to log back in, it keeps telling me FAILED which is so frustrating. You guys need to fix this error.

Every update scrubs off the previous log in codes and you have to keep calling/emailing the provider for those codes which requires a video call for identification.

It makes no sense updates can’t occur while simultaneously preserving your prior log in information like every other app does.

This is the worst update… The older version was better… Because of the update I don’t do transactions anymore on my account… Always 1 issue or the other, if it is not login issue, it is server issue, if it not server issue, it is another…. If only there is a star lower than 1 star. GTeToken deserves it

You all need to do Better. like what is this token for, if it will never get to work.

It can't generate a useful token. I always have to use the hardware token. What's the point.

If you can not get a simple app to run efficiently for several months, I wonder what else you can get right as a bank and IT teams.

I was asked to update my app, after updating I am unable to set it up or get customer care representative on phone. I am spending so much $ on calls to get no answer. This is really frustrating. Am I not supposed to be able to access my bank accounts anywhere in the world? Do something about GTeToken it doesn’t work

GTbank is getting worst by day. Your e-Token app automatically remove log in and now requesting for a new authorization code, meaning that someone need to call your customer service again and bla bla bla. Make apps that works for people outside Nigeria.

This bank is absolutely terrible. My app automatically deleted its self and I’ve not been able to get into GTeToken for the past 2weeks. I’ve called customer service line multiple times and I’ve not been able to speak to one person. They aren’t replying my emails either and my money is just stuck there. I’m not able to send money to my family enters back home for the holidays. Everything about it is terrible. At this point, I’m trying to close my account and even that has been an issue.

Nothing wrong with my old etoken. Wanted to use it yesterday and was asked to reactivate again. I called customer service and they told me GTeToken has been updated and needed to be reactivated. Well, the useless thing would not work. I was on the phone back and forth about 3 hrs and spoke to 4 customer service reps (nice and respectful people) but unfortunately, they couldn’t get GTeToken to work. I have money in my account to give people for Xmas but unfortunately, GTB almost blocked this by their useless app. I had to resort to using other app to send money directly into my folks’ accounts. I am out of the country and as it stands now, I guess I’m done with Nigerian banks.

The upgrade on GTeToken has stopped it from working and GTconnect cannot be reached for days now to send an activation code! Why can’t upgrades be integrated with the existing user information??? This is inconvenient for users to have to live in fear of upgrades and whilst I would normally recommend GT to diaspora Nigerians as the best for timely response, this has proved me wrong!

The previous version was working fine for me. The latest update has the Generate OTP button on top of the menu links. Trying to activate the button activates the menu link instead. Fix this and you get a 5-star rating.

GTeToken doesn’t open.

Not working when otp failed to get verified

Ever since I downloaded this token app, I have not been able to verify and setup. When I enters the OTP, it will just be buffering.

GT bank really needs to get it together,
Scrap this token system and get a better and functional system easy for customers to use. Can’t wait to close my account.

This is a crappy app. I wish there is something less than 1 star. Just take GTeToken down and bring back hardware token. I have been having issues getting money out of my account because I’m currently out of the country. I was excited at first with the e-token only to find out that it’s a facade of an app. Please work on it or take it down.

Terrible app, how can it fail with correct information. Please update app or don’t suggest it online as it’s a waste of time. To struggle for a week to use ur own money is a shame.

Very useless app, I kept getting different error codes

Older update to the token app was super fast. You open it and it launches, authenticate with FaceID and you are in.

The new update is so much slower. Takes about 15-20 seconds to load. Please try speed it up as before with next update.

There’s usually something wrong most times you need to use it, and it wastes 3 minutes. Always something about error with code. This is a downgrade for GTBank’s status

I was having a problem logging into my account, so I had to reach out to the customer support; they went above and beyond to help me get started. Everything took less than 15 seconds and I’m up and running again! GTbank is the best!!!!

I opened an account while in Nigeria. I’m now back home in the states and unable to receive OTP or tokens. GTeToken helped me to receive OTP and tokens. Definitely worth the download!

At first I regretted using the soft token because of technical glitches, so I reached out to the gt developer via email. They took their time to make sure the issue is fixed. I prefer the soft token than the hard token. So easy to use.
