Not many suppliers can actually be paid in SnapScan. Try loading a card also a pain. Best just go to checkers and pay all your bills or use your bank app. They actually offer nothing unique that you don’t get while shopping at checkers or on your banks app. What’s the differentiation here between what’s on SnapScan and on a banks app or in checkers just cannot see it. Apple Pay has you also covered or Apple wallet. What you trying to solve for here I have no idea.

How can a company relying on retailers and traders be shut for such a long time over Xmas? Whilst we are busy working, this app folk are of jol'ing on your 3% fees from the 17th of Dec - 5th Jan! If you want to sign up as a Merchant you will be told NO NO NO!

Why do I need a OTP for this app? just taken all the convenience away and made it a mission!!

It is a worrisome sign that any software publisher considers a jailbroken phone an inherent security risk for its software. It indicates a lack of understanding of application and network security and bodes ill for that developer taking proper responsibility for the safety of my payment data. While the application concept is a good one, as a technology consultant I see unnecessary risk in trusting a developer with sensitive data who begins alarmist finger-pointing before properly and thoroughly examining relevant security, threat, and vulnerability models.
I have used this app for a while and I have to admit it works fine. I however, have a major problem with the software. There is no option to create an account and register and anytime the up is updated or my phone is restored or reset I have to "readd" my card which cost R2. I am happy to pay for apps and services, this constant payment at any update or re-addition is not appropriate.
Doesn’t work anymore
Very impressive. Speedy, super convenient, very reliable as I do not have to worry nor guess what happens to my cards in a moment of distraction as no one gets to "touch" them and neither am I kept waiting to pay my bill!! Love the extreme convenience & reliability. This is an app out of the future. Well done & keep it up!! Please, please move this beyond Cape Town and Stellenbosch - I would use this all over the country & beyond.

SnapScan will take the market by storm - so simple to use your phone to pay rather than fiddling around to find a piece of plastic. Well done on the design of SnapScan and the convenience it provides.
SnapScan and its merchant system ROCKS! Makes paying for things in places that would normally not have a card machine so convenient... All businesses need this new way of paying!
