Only reason it getting one star is you can’t give 0 stars.
Tech support is a joke. By email only. Something that could be answered in minutes takes hours. Meanwhile you’re trying to get this crap to work.
Loses info often. Needs to be rebooted often. At least once a month I have to remove it and reload Astea just to get it to work. Unfortunately I am forced to use this crap.
If you are one of the lucky ones that are not forced to use it run far and fast.

Don’t get me wrong the old this app was not the best but you could fill your work orders out in minutes everything had its place and a combination. The check list was super easy to fill out really quick. Once you figured the old one out it was breezy. The new update… is junk took my a few days with the old this app to figure out. It’s been almost a month and haven’t filled my first work order out because of the place of everything it’s everywhere. Absolutely awful

For a four year old app it is not working. Since the first week we started using Astea I’ve had to delete and reinstall more then a hand full of times and we are just on our 3rd or 4th week of having it . Would not recommend until we stop having problems with Astea. If we stop having problems with it.

My major complaint is data loss. If Astea is open and you are working in your work history while the office sends me a new service call, everything that you’ve typed since the last closure is lost and you have to waste ridiculous amounts of time recreating it. On the good side, this bug gives me a reason not to work late and try to finish my day before the office sends out my next calls. Iphone 7+

We’ve been on Astea for two years now, and it’s been nothing but trouble. Always have to work around issues or call or email other components of the company to get things corrected. I can’t believe a company as large as mine apparently ignored all the negative reviews and selected it.
There has to be better software out there for Field Service. Too many issues to enumerate here.

I’d be fine with the interface looking like it belongs on an iPhone 3G but it functions terribly as well.

Also a warning for headphone users, prepare to go deaf when Astea refresh beep plays. It’s not controlled by volume at all, just full blast unless your phone’s silent mode switch is enabled.

Several seconds after logging in Astea beeps loudly and repeatedly. As far as I can tell there is NO option in Astea nor in iPhone 13 settings to disable this!

It’s super annoying this did not happen when I used my iPhone 6S.

You lose times. You are unable to change time entry’s after they have been submitted. If you make a mistake you have to redo all the times for that day.

As a field tech using it makes me cry on a daily basis. Clocking in and out is glitchy at best. Closing out a job just never works. Time lost opening it to get information is painful. Moral dropped in the hole office when we started the program

I have two phones which I would like to use this app. But get error messages when trying to login in. Warning : unable to open database. Application will reload. Both phones are running iOS 13.1.

I’ve used Astea for two months now and it’s never been a fluid function.
Lately I have not been able to stop work to clock out for lunch or end my day.

Initially Astea would not let you open another work order unless you exited the current one. Now I’m logged in to one job and it says I’m on site at another???

It’s real frustrating.

Just downloaded the new iPhone software update for bug fixes now this app mobile app is giving me issues saying it’s not supported

I wish I could give no stars. Astea is horrible and they do not make any improvements. Horrible...

Hi all, This is worst application and their developers are worsts and Project managers never understand the requirements. Mobile keep crash . Don’t use it .Old design and outdated technology. They never respect customers.

I recently buy an iphone 11 pro max and came with Ios 13 and wont work its says it cant open data base. On Ios 12 work perfect.

I cannot believe there is ANY company that would choose to use an app that has a 1 STAR rating.

Buggy.

I swear the programers fix one thing and creat two completely new problem with every update just for job scuirty. Absolute garbage program!

If your company moves to Astea, you might find yourself so frustrated with it, you’ll want to quit. Who intentionally uses an app rated at 1.7 stars?

Since the IOS 13 and 14 update I haven’t been able to use this app.

Apple needs to let you rate 0 stars just for Astea.

I know now to stay away from companies that use Astea. It’s super frustrating, it’s a learning experience to put it nicely.

this app is so buggy that Orkin pest control could treat the problems. At least it is 100% better than CodePal !

Company makes us use. Someone got back door paid, or sold someone a load of smoke. Have to regularly reload to get past glitches preventing app use.

Our company switched to this dispatch software. It crashes constantly, not letting me log back in. Notes on job are hidden deep in program instead of being on top screen. End times default to 12:00am on app so you need to figure times for job in head when you go to log into next job. The government should replace water boarding with this program. This is torture to work with. Deserves negative star rating
