Exposure to brilliant material

I love the podcast, but the magazine issues are not accessible to blind people, using VoiceOver, the accessibility feature that allows blind people to use iPhones. Hopefully I'm not missing out on too much, then.

A Christian news magazine worth every penny! Covering all aspects of our world including foreign affairs, finance, music, arts, and politics. When quoting the information to friends & family, I am frequently asked "how I knew that"... simple- I read World and so should you! You will also sit in on fascinating interviews with men and women who are the best and brightest in their fields: scientists who dare to question global warming effects; legal experts who understand our constitution and the attack on Christian beliefs here and abroad; dissidents who give firsthand testimonies of what is really happening in foreign countries. The articles and opinion editorials are conservative but never rote or superficial. Simply put- read World if you crave truthful, straightforward, interesting and diverse news!

I recently bought an iPad 2. We were past subscribers of World Magazine and rather impulsively decided to order an iPad subscription. Before it was activated I began to fear that the interface of the magazine might be too clunky to be useful. In a phone call to a representative I was assured that the interface was very good but that I could cancel the subscription if I did not like it. All fears disappeared when the first issue was downloaded. The interface is very well done including video links which are of course not available with the paper version. Well Done World Magazine Staff!

I don't mean to complain, and I do love World's content and message, but WORLDNewsGroup needs to be an "Apple Newsstand" app.

I understand the need to make the content as portable as possible for different types of devices. But iPad users expect certain things. They want icons for updates and sharing options. They want magazines on iPads to be with Newsstand, all together, in one spot, auto downloading. I get Wired, the Daily, and Bloomberg Business Week this way. I get World and The Army Times through an older style app, and the quality and experience suffers.

Maybe you receive the paper version and use WORLDNewsGroup to supplement your World reading. Maybe you're not so picky. But if you pay $50 annually, and will only read it digitally on an iPad, it needs to be better. No?

I have subscribed to World for many years. This year I bought an iPad and thought how nice it would be to have my magazine subscriptions available in this format. And it came to pass.

Part of the problem is that I live outside of the US and mail delivery is iffy. I sometimes received two magazines at the same time and both were somewhat dated. At times they arrived damaged. And they were always late.

Now I receive them on-time, in great shape, and in a format that I enjoy. Who could ask for anything more?

I continue to enjoy World Magazine on my iPad with WORLDNewsGroup. The primary reason is the Christian worldview content. The recent upgrade has provided stability and returning to the last article when reopening an issue is a good feature. But you can't open the index/slider bar on the top and these old fingers can't find the right icon on the top quick enough before it times out. I still would like the ability to highlight a word and search for it in an article/issue. Sometimes I need a definition, other times I would like to see where a name is mentioned elsewhere in an article.

I was not going to renew my print subscription simply because I don't have time to read it. I do love reading World Magazine. This made it simple for me because I ALWAYS have my iPad with me. Now I can open up the magazine on my iPad and read it when I end up with downtime while I am out and about. Can't wait to get my online subscription!!

Well, up until the iOS 8 update, WORLDNewsGroup was absolutely amazing, but now it doesn't work. The library page comes up, but WORLDNewsGroup gives you error messages if you try to download the magazine, and won't allow you to view magazines that you have downloaded. Please fix!

I have been subscribing to World Magazine for over 20 years. The writers are top-shelf and articles provide great in-depth content. I was delighted to find that I now can get this magazine on my iPad.

Waiting for subscription support so I do not have to wrestle the rest of the family for World Magazine when it comes in the mail.

World's programmers have kept their approach simple and done a good job, certainly better than most other mags in WORLDNewsGroup Store., especially Murdoch's overblown, tabloidish Daily. The fact that World's creators eschew political correctness in their reporting makes this my news magazine of choice.

No it doesn't work with iOS8, that's because Apple has not released WORLDNewsGroup update yet. I opened a "call" with World and they related that it's Apple who has to release the updates for iOS8. There are a lot of other mags out there with the same problem. So, I too am looking forward to the update?

I can't access my digital magazine now. WORLDNewsGroup crashes each time I try to download the latest issue and my previous issues disappeared now too. Please fix WORLDNewsGroup , this is a great magazine and reading format.

One star for the update. Five stars for the magazine itself.
The update wiped my library. The issues I was waiting to read during my Thanksgiving break are not even accessible to re-load. I hope this glitch can be fixed because it took me a while to download those issues. Sad.

New version remembers the last issue and page that you were reading...finally! Also has a nifty Favorites bookmark feature, and I can't wait to see Retina display support coming in the next issue. Well done, World Mag crew!
