I have a problem with ecobee Smart Thermostat

- App still displays the last known temperature when the thermostat has no online connection, without indicating that it is offline

- Limitations in the app, such as the inability to change the program schedule through the app

- Interface could be improved, especially for iPad users

- Fan/cool/heat status icons do not appear when controlling one of two thermostats

- App crashes back to the login screen for some users

- Missing a control to operate the ventilator feature of the thermostat

To resolve ecobee Smart Thermostat network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Force Stop the ecobee Smart Thermostat App
1. On android, goto Settings » ecobee Smart Thermostat » click [Force Stop]

Clear ecobee Smart Thermostat App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » ecobee Smart Thermostat » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart ecobee Smart Thermostat.

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click ecobee Smart Thermostat » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto ecobee Smart Thermostat » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch ecobee Smart Thermostat
