Having trouble with the app

The colorstream app is not updating. The current firmware is V288.4.5. It's also not letting me use the music feature which i believe is caused by the update not working. I have 5 strings of lights that I can not use.

How to fix ColorStream+ app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the ColorStream+ app on iPhone
Update ColorStream+ app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall ColorStream+ iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix ColorStream+ on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve ColorStream+ network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

ColorStream+ Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix ColorStream+ not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the ColorStream+ App
1. On android, goto Settings » ColorStream+ » click [Force Stop]

Update ColorStream+ to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear ColorStream+ App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » ColorStream+ » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart ColorStream+.

Fix ColorStream+ unable to contact server/ ColorStream+ internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click ColorStream+ » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto ColorStream+ » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch ColorStream+
