I downloaded DolarApp very optimistic with some of the reviews and videos I saw speaking to its convenience and how easy it was. I never got to make a transfer from my US bank because the instructions this app offered didn’t cover the questions the bank (BofA) were asking me. There is no real customer service person to assist you nor do they at least have a blog with other customers where we can speak on these issues. I had as much hope in DolarApp as to request the card they offer and that never even arrived. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if this ended up being some fraud scheme.

this app froze my money. Do not use their services or they may freeze your money. It has been frozen for over a week and their customer support has not gotten back with me. There were hundreds of USD in the account and I do not know when I will get it back if ever.

DolarApp doesn’t affect you a real customer service, only messages that they read whenever they want to Duplicated charges for months, they doesn’t resolve them I did froze my card and still receiving ghost charges to my account Be very careful putting money on DolarApp No number to call

US Citizen living abroad and looking for convenient apps to transfer money to friends in Colombia, Mexico and Argentina as advertised. Couldn’t do so without residency in Argentina. No option to change country of residence to try other countries. I imagine DolarApp only serves a niche market. Have had much better experiences with Remitly and Xoom.

How come an ACH takes 6 business days to arrive!? 1st time I used DolarApp was so fast. They changed the bank and now it will probably take 10 days to see the money. I’m not using them anymore. I will probably try to find another fast service. And I would be a great user but this timeframe is ridiculous.

Used it for a year. Find support terrible, only text or email with standard responses. If there is an issue, there is no management to deal with and supporters quit answering text or email. They are not regulated by any entity, at this point my money is locked and I have to find some way of getting it back. Very shady.

Support use automated msjs and generic scripts. They claimed they don’t have a manger onsite/online.
They asked me to email support with my issue. The had my money for more that 36 hrs. And as of now still didn’t get my money in my account.

My initial experience was good, especially the ease of sending and receiving money. Then this app changed their banking partner and I wasted hours of my time trying to get my account functioning. During this transition, I could not transfer money for a week, tying up a few thousand dollars. What became clear was that this app had not planned well for this change, since their new partner can’t provide services to residents of all 50 U.S. states. It is also clear that I can no longer trust them with my money.

I currently have problems login in, I normally just sign in with face recognition but, it was marking the passcode as incorrect. Now I realized this account is linked to an old phone number I had, and I cannot access the account. Other than email, how do I contact costumer support?

Never really had issues with DolarApp and I used it pretty much every day. Please advise, I recently added USD to my account because I need MX Pesos urgently.

In case of any not recognized or double charge posted to you acct by using your debit card, where you needs to dispute, Dolar app do not generate transactions reference numbers and customer service do not back you up on filing the claim on your behalf, you have to initial it on your own. The debit card it is MasterCard you’ll need to get it involved. Downside so far.

this app is an excellent application. It is very convenient, gives great conversion rates, quick service. The customer service is very responsive. I am happy with this app.

I travel from the US to Mexico, very often, and don’t have Mexican paper, so can’t get bank account there. I use Remitly, Xoom, etc but DolarApp really fills some holes between those services. I love that you can receive transfers from other people. People with Mexican accounts can instantly transfer it to you and it will work with Apple Pay, the conversion rate is great. Much better than all other services. Sending out a transfer to other people is not instant, and can take time

I haven’t used the card yet. Traveling to Mexico this weekend. But, I wanted to give a shout out to Santiago. He was very patient and explained everything to me in a way I fully understand.

They’re awesome, but today Jaime went the extra 10 miles for me. Give that person a raise!!!

Been with them for 2.5 years. Support is first rate and responsive. Transfer speeds have improved greatly, probably due to a lighter rein on crypto from the US .gov. I only have good things to say about them.

I’ve moved on from having to use Wise, Remitly, WorldRemit mostly because the fee’s were higher, and the convenience of having a virtual and physical card that Dolar app provides to those of us expats living in Mexico. Support questions have answered quickly, and my physical card arrived very fast. So far, this service has been absolutely perfect.

We love the convenience of this app but not the $3 charges. I think if you subscribe and pay premium there are no fees?

I’ve been using DolarApp for months, and by far the best way to send money to Mexico and best rates out there.

Provides a simple and easy way to transfer US Dollars to Mexican Pesos or vice versa. Being kept in USDC makes sense as it is stable and not a bank! Having the ability to spend from a debit card is fantastic. Just all around the best idea ever. Well done guys. I wish we could get it taken up by everyone in the USA and MEXICO so we can ditch Zelle and Cashapp and PayPal and all the other ripoffs!

Easy to use I would like a debit card like the one they offer on deel paying with out Argentina taxes
