Still No Support For iPhone 15

I’ve been waiting patiently for a firmware update to make the Kishi V2 Pro compatible with my iPhone 15. There was a firmware update 4 months ago that did nothing to help. No buttons work. RazerNexus doesn’t work. The only thing that works is the pass through charging and the screenshot button which for some reason functions as the side button and locks the phone.

RazerNexus itself looks nice and seems to work smoothly but I can’t confirm since I can’t use the product it is supposed to be paired with. I was excited to use it because it looked nice and was free unlike the backbone app but alas I can’t do play any games the way RazerNexus is designed to be played.

I contacted Razer support to see if there was at least a timeline for the next update but no questions were answered straightforward. It’s basically a glorified charger at this point. I’m probably just going to look into getting a backbone and If razer ever makes their app and hardware iphone 15 compatible I’ll come back and edit my review.

AWFUL BUY BACKBONE INSTEAD

RazerNexus is trash i cant play my favorite game due to alot of lag on RazerNexus , so i got a refund and bought backbone because of the scam promising it would work. And backbone is amazing, i can play all my steam games, stream on twitch, and even remotely access my games and i can play all my xbox games on backbone, it can play 3000+ games and i can not have any lag when i play my games👍👍👍

Not good

The Razer Kishi V2 is great but RazerNexus is trash compared to the Backbone controller app. Razer needs to go back to the drawing board on this one. There is not even a way to add direct links to the games that you want to play. The games in the library are not even the most popular games. Even if there is a game you want to play it is very cumbersome to locate it and start it. You might as well just plan on launching every game, cloud service or remote play directly from your phone and skip RazerNexus until they can get it together. I hope they take notes from backbone and create something worth using even if they have to charge for it like Backbone does.

If you see this comment, don’t buy.

Yet another disappointment. Knew I Should’ve went with backbone instead. V1 was terrible. V2 is just the same.

Terrible analog positioning, near impossible to aim and shoot. You’re better off Blue tooth connecting a ps4 or Xbox controller.
Analogs are made terribly. Little to no resistance. They just roll around with ease, making them a nuisance.
Buttons have an annoying click to them.
My iPhone 14 Pro Max doesn’t firmly lock into place due to the camera as well. Therefore it’s a risk to my charging port to even use.

For $100 ****ing dollars, and from a company like Razer, you’d think they’d have thought to do better.

Returning tomorrow, and buying a backbone instead.

Don’t even get me started on RazerNexus . It’s not even worth my time to mention it’s so bad.

Can’t add my games to Nexus library

CANNOT ADD ANY GAME TO NEXUS!
The selling point of the Kishi products, along with the hardware, is the software. Being able to categorize your mobile gaming library is one place is ideal, but never seems to work. The idea is there, I do like how you can see recommended games from both RazerNexus Store and cloud gaming but I am using RazerNexus to play MY games. I am following the provided instructions. Each time I try to launch the Nexus app in game (using the hardware button) or using the iOS share option, it doesn’t add the game. Super frustrating!

Crashes immediately upon opening

New version of RazerNexus , crashes immediately upon opening. There is no way to open RazerNexus at all.

Old version, would hang up and crash when certain games were launched. To the point where it would no longer recognize the controller and everything would need to be reconnected.

I actually really like RazerNexus . But, unfortunately, it is broken to the point of being completely unusable for months.

app still needs work

love the controller and the features like the new programmable buttons, but RazerNexus needs some work.

The nexus app will not add games to the launcher, not sure if that's a controller or application bug. yes the games are installed.

but the it works great other than that!

I like it but…

It says contest of champions works with controller but when i try to use it on that game it doesn’t work at all and I bought this device for certain games that aren’t even compatible with this controller… I was wondering does the nexus get updated with new games???

Some issues with the app.

The button to add a game to nexus doesn’t seem to do anything. Apps may appear on Nexus but clicking on them takes you to the AppStore from which you can launch them.

There should be an option to make the one of the buttons mapped to the xbox button for use with steam link or moonlight, etc. For now it there is no option.

Not that bad of a product

The quality of the Razer Nexus is good and controls aren’t too bad to use. The only problem is that there aren’t many games that are good for playing which require a controller. Although there may be some apps available, few require to be purchased just to play with them on a controller, or a person may need an account linked to Xbox which personally I find it as a problem. I would suggest adding games such as Alliance Air War as I have noticed that this game could work similar to what handheld game consoles offer.

Awesome controller - App needs work!

The new Razer Kishi V2 for iOS is amazing. Love the programmable buttons & the solid feel overall with the controller. BUT…. The Nexus App needs a lot of work. It’s basically a poorly laid out App Store for games with controller support… problem is that none of the newer games that matter or people play show up here (ex. Apex & CoD).
EDITED: The last piece missing is the option to remove shortcuts & launch games from the “More Games” library. (Added another star for either my bad with not being able to create shortcuts or it being implemented.)

Overall… Amazing controller with programmable buttons & an App with potential! Please continue to update & support. Will update rating after future app updates.

Launcher FINALLY WORKS🥳

Latest update resolved the issue of not being able to add any game or emulator to the Nexus app! Only small request I’ll like to see added is the ability to set colors in zones to the RGB strip. Example of this is when you open the nexus app notice the strip has 2 colors showing per strip vs on any other app it cannot do this.

I love the improvement to the app

I’m extremely happy with improvements that were made to RazerNexus . The only issue is now when I add to many games to RazerNexus it starts to crash and won’t open. I had to reinstall many times just to get RazerNexus to open after adding a lot of games, please fix

Finally fixed!

Thanks for finally fixing the add game option on RazerNexus . It didn’t work for me when i first bought my razer kishi. I think adding some audio to RazerNexus will make the ui even better

It’s come a long way!

I was pleasantly surprised when I reinstalled RazerNexus after removing it a year ago. The ability to add games to the launcher is an absolute game changer and RazerNexus and features just feel much more polished. Awesome job Razer!

Actually useful

You can add Gaems from your Gaems folder straight to RazerNexus so that when you press the button on the phone that loads the Nexus app and then you have access to all these games plus it has fluid access to RazerNexus Store so you could just download games from there It’s pretty awesome.

Don’t bother with backbone

Backbone gouges you with features hidden behind subscriptions. Just buy a razer and get the control app and save money and time.

Razer Kishi Ultra

Love the controller looking forward to iOS haptic feedback update in the future but I have only one issue, it won’t let me connect my twitch account?

Backbone

It works for all my controllers. I’m think because you made RazerNexus.

App not so great, controller is good.

App doesn’t really bring anything to the table that matters other than remapping the L4 and R4 buttons. Nothing else is really useful. Unfortunately for PlayStation remote play, no option to map either of those to the touchpad button. For that button all one can do is tap the screen and tap the screen touchpad the Remote Play app has built in. Unfortunately I’d recommend backbone for PS4 if you plan to mostly stream from a PS console.

Works well for Xbox or GeforceNow.

Wish PS was more supported since it’s the more popular console right now. It works, but missing the touchpad button as an option is a big miss.

Controller itself is really good. App, not so much.
