I love the controller, but the firmware is terrible. Even on games this supports it constantly disconnects mid gameplay. DO NOT use this controller for competitive play. There are better options out there right now. Fix the firmware and I’ll fix my review. But for right now feels like I wasted money on a finicky product.

Last time they updated the firmware on the Kishi razer app for the controller was almost a year ago it is not updated for iPhones that have update 14.8 or 15 so do not worry about trying to download RazerKishi just return your controller till they decide they are going to update it for the newer updated iPhones firmware

I can’t believe I wasted my last dollars on this I feel like a fool! I have never been so disappointed in my life! This is truly a misleading product please don’t waste your time! And the company that manufactures it knows that as well! They have very limited options to help you or will just ridicule you with passive aggressive blank sentences! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! It’s not compatible to any game and even when it is it just stops working after just one try! And yes the firmware is up to date and I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro Max

I guarantee the 5 star reviews are fake and paid for, or from bots. Most pathetic company and controller imaginable. What everyone is saying is 100% the truth. Junk controller. They should be ashamed and sued. Controller disconnects over and over. Goes out in 2-3 months and just completely stops working. Quality is horrible. The controls aren’t smooth and you can finesse the joy sticks like you should be able to. Please don’t waster your money and buy and backbone. It will save you a lot of cussing and anger.

it just doesn't work. I have already tried it with many games and nothing. I got in touch to make a refund of my money, they just have me in the mail and mail. They ask me which iPhone I have which version which version is the control in short. They sent me to download an application called (Game Tester) which was a waste of time, the only thing they do is countless surveys. and no tester. in short this control is a was.

Have Genshin Impact and yet, despite the internet not providing any results as there not being controller support for this device and that game, I am fully unable to play Genshin Impact with this device. Apparently the internet cannot find me on other person who has had this problem. I just got the controller yesterday and despite seeing compatibility with GI on Razer’s site, it does not work.

Edit back to a one star: completely stopped working again today. Trash. Got a couple good weeks out of it.

New Apple update fixed the problem. Controller went from unusable to great. Only occasionally disconnects now and just flipping to kishi app always fixes it.

I sent in my first because it was constantly disconnecting. Doesn’t matter the game. 2 months and tons of hassle later I have a new just as broken kishi. It would be an awesome product. If it worked. Edit: it now doesn’t connect at all after a couple weeks. Tried everything. Reload app, restart phone. Red light is on but not connected. DO NOT BUY.

Ok so I just got this remote brand new and when I connected my phone I saw no sign of life no lights or anything and idk what to do at this point I was gonna break it and I thought to myself and I said ima keep trying lease help me otherwise it’s a waste of money and I like d online it said the lights on the right side should turn on but little did I know they didn’t turn on

It’s almost not worth it the controller is constantly disconnecting in the middle of game play which is not optimal when trying to be competitive online I’d say there are times where it will disconnect 10+ times during a 5 minute match. The design and everything is awesome but at its price point it should work flawless...

Would be 5 star but I Contacted the company that ported over Star Wars knights of the old republic 2 game to iOS and told them that this controller was not working with there game and they told me they tried to fix it but it’s is razer kishi firmware issue that’s not letting this controller to work with there game. So will you guys update the razer kishi controller firmware so it would work on Star wars knights of the old republic 2 on iOS.

For those who have the controller disconnecting during a game, delete the kishi app and use the controller as normal. Don’t use RazerKishi . This worked for me.

Seriously was excited to use this on my COD game and nothing worked. I bought the controller and it didn’t even work when I hooked it up to my iPhone!! So disappointed. By the way RazerKishi is up to date and I was using my iPhone 11.

RazerKishi doesn’t have the director button for the PlayStation remote play button it has the option button the share button and another button that does something I forgot what it is. They should swap out the share button for the director button it’s a pain like when I’m playing destiny 2 on remote play I can’t open out my ghost to spawn my sparrow in the game. I have to I have to click on the director. On the screen of my phone fix this plz.

I’ve loved this thing since day one, however since iOS 15.4.1 the controller no longer works… hopefully a fix comes out

The negative reviews are from people wanting to use it on apps that don’t officially support controllers (PBUG). However for the games that support controllers (CODM, Fortnite, others) it is great and well worth the price tag.

I feel bad for the negative reviewers who were disappointed when the Kishi didn’t work for their favorite game. You can easily avoid that if you first check to see if the game supports controllers. It’s up to the game developers to add that feature to their games, and they will usually say so somewhere in the game description. You can also test it out by connecting a PS4 or Xbox controller to your phone via Bluetooth. If the game works with those controllers, then it will almost certainly work with the Kishi. The bonus is that the Kishi gives you a wired connection and Switch-like form factor (no need to carry one of those controller phone mounts). I use this on my train rides everyday with Anki, a flash card studying app, and occasional gaming breaks. I looks, feels, and performs like a high quality device. 5 stars easy. I really hope that v. 2.0 adds data to the charging port so I can connect my hdmi adapter.

I do enjoy using this device. I just with the elastic band was something more stable. After a bit of use of your not careful the kishi would cause you to break your device by dropping it from the kishi itself. It’s not very strong overall. But if you’re stationary and not moving a lot (even though it’s meant for mobile gaming….) it’s great! I also love how the buttons feel and sound they are pretty quiet. I love my kishi and have recommended it to ppl and still do. But it wouldn’t be my first choice for mobile gaming controllers due to the instability and phone security while actually on the go.

It’s a very solid portable gaming pad that works very well with the Xbox remote play I don’t understand all the bad reviews people give this product I recently had bought it and it’s just been a blast to use no I can play my Xbox games wherever I go as long as I have my Wi-Fi hotspot with me it’s a lot easier than taking your consult with you for that razor I am truly thankful keep up the good work

Controller works great, I recently found out about RazerKishi . It works with every game I’ve tried it on (COD mostly, final fantasy 8 and a few others). No real disconnect issues. I think it happened once when I switched apps. Just had to disconnect the controller and close RazerKishi and then put the controller back on and open RazerKishi again. Nothing major as far as flaws to note, works as expected.

People who reviewed this badly either aren’t paying attention or didn’t do the simple research. This controller DO work. You just had to look in the game’s store page to see if the controller works with it or not. Apple Arcade games has “Game Controller” listed all the way down to the bottom page, if they work.

This controller is really fantastic. Great holding feel, very comfortable to hold, and buttons are easy to press (including the analogs).

It’s plugged in to my phone and I haven’t been able to get it to control my Home Screen or any controller compatible apps. Hasn’t worked once besides a brief second where it was screen recording.

Many games wont work metal slug partial works not all the buttons work, steam remote play very hard configure with the home button missing.
