I’ve been waiting patiently for a firmware update to make the Kishi V2 Pro compatible with my iPhone 15. There was a firmware update 4 months ago that did nothing to help. No buttons work. The app doesn’t work. The only thing that works is the pass through charging and the screenshot button which for some reason functions as the side button and locks the phone.
The app itself looks nice and seems to work smoothly but I can’t confirm since I can’t use the product it is supposed to be paired with. I was excited to use it because it looked nice and was free unlike the backbone app but alas I can’t do play any games the way the app is designed to be played.
I contacted Razer support to see if there was at least a timeline for the next update but no questions were answered straightforward. It’s basically a glorified charger at this point. I’m probably just going to look into getting a backbone and If razer ever makes their app and hardware iphone 15 compatible I’ll come back and edit my review.

The Razer Kishi V2 is great but this app is trash compared to the Backbone controller app. Razer needs to go back to the drawing board on this one. There is not even a way to add direct links to the games that you want to play. The games in the library are not even the most popular games. Even if there is a game you want to play it is very cumbersome to locate it and start it. You might as well just plan on launching every game, cloud service or remote play directly from your phone and skip this app until they can get it together. I hope they take notes from backbone and create something worth using even if they have to charge for it like Backbone does.

Yet another disappointment. Knew I Should’ve went with backbone instead. V1 was terrible. V2 is just the same.
Terrible analog positioning, near impossible to aim and shoot. You’re better off Blue tooth connecting a ps4 or Xbox controller.
Analogs are made terribly. Little to no resistance. They just roll around with ease, making them a nuisance.
Buttons have an annoying click to them.
My iPhone 14 Pro Max doesn’t firmly lock into place due to the camera as well. Therefore it’s a risk to my charging port to even use.
For $100 ****ing dollars, and from a company like Razer, you’d think they’d have thought to do better.
Returning tomorrow, and buying a backbone instead.
Don’t even get me started on the app. It’s not even worth my time to mention it’s so bad.
