Imagine working in fashion and your objective is to speak to people without having to see them. Sounds great if you know what you’re doing. The girls on ShopThing can’t articulate a sentence, let alone know fashion terms. Their main vocabulary is “these ones”, “beg(not bag)”, “accent/detail”, “cute”, “love” and my personal favorite “absolutely”. Not an intelligent bunch and they can’t even list items correctly. If you see something for an amazing deal and buy it, but they made the mistake in the listing process they go ahead and charge your card for the amount it should have been listed for. Zero accountability on their end.

App is horrible :/ got really excited when I saw they had one on Instagram but it lags and sometimes doesn’t even load and it takes forever for me to see one item sometimes. Also when you message someone, good luck getting a hold of them. Messaged two people and never heard from them. Would love to buy something through ShopThing but the experience alone just trying to get through it makes me skeptical. Lots of bugs that need to be fixed for sure.

this is the worst UX I have ever seen and should be taught as an example in marketing classes. Who thought ShopThing concept would be a good idea? It’s not user friendly at all, completely inaccessible, and super unclear as to how this purchasing experience is supposed to work. Not to mention all the bugs and crashes like others mentioned. So, to shop here, I need to view a bunch of “stories” from their team with the sound on. As someone with auditory processing disorder, I do not enjoy this one bit

Love shopping but when you are watching the shoppers stories sometimes the images never load. And then when you decide to buy something they process your credit card and days later they left you know that product isn't available. Awful and disappointing

I love the concept and the products they sell but shopping in the instagram page is way faster than using ShopThing. I gave ShopThing too many chances and it is very frustrating how slow it is. Will continue shopping via instagram instead.

If I go in and out of the main “live” it brings bring me back to the very beginning and to get back to the end is not easy. Either tapping a ton on the right, or if I use the arrow down to get the items bar it’s super touchy and closes every other second. I kept “losing” the item i wanted to buy in the huge que of live items. Hope that makes sense. Bc it’s supppppper frustrating. Otherwise it’s an amazing idea and great app.

it’s not very stable and performance of it could use some help. ShopThing crashes everytime I try clicking on Following; pictures either take forever to load and are “buffering” or they just never load; swipe up function on the main/opening page does not seem to work consistently. Even after I do a hard close of ShopThing , all these problems still persist.

I purchased an expensive item from ShopThing and it was shipped from Canda to the US. While the tracking number says that the item is delivered, i cannot find it anywhere. I waited a month to get my money back. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

found ShopThing through their instagram ads and it seemed cool. once in app, it’s very confusing. the interface just isn’t very user friendly. when i see an app that is buggy and takes forever to load, it makes me very hesitant to purchase luxury items from them for obvious reasons. also, most things that were mainstream brands like gucci, balmain, etc. were still pretty expensive compared to other luxury resale apps. i do think the idea is really cool and i will check back in a few months to see if ShopThing has improved!! but for now, it’s just not ready.

This co needs to clean up their message. I watched an IG ad and downloaded, but once I had ShopThing I have no clue what the company did? As a user, I uninstalled immediately Bc I was frustrated by not know where to go within ShopThing or what service was service provided. Hopefully this helps get your message correct!!

Slow service, purchased something a few weeks ago and it just now hit pending shipment . There aren’t any options to cancel or for a rep should their have been an issue with my sale. What if they never send? Who gives me the money back. Didn’t see an option anywhere for just communication with the seller to ask my own questions and solve my own problems. Love my purchase and hope it arrives legit In A few weeks. Rating TBD.

I came across an ad on instagram and downloaded it immediately, but like the other reviewer said ShopThing is very buggy the videos sometimes take long to load and it’s not super easy to navigate. I think this company could have huge potential if it changed its interface in ShopThing . I get the premise of the videos but the shopping aspect should be as easy as clicking a fixed picture to purchase.

I love the products and the deals ShopThing gets you access too. But the user experience could definitely be improved. Personally I would love if you could view products by category instead of by shopper. If I’m on the hunt for a handbag I don’t want to be scrolling through 200 shoe listings in hopes that there’s a handbag hidden in the midst of them.

The functionality of ShopThing blows. I get it’s live posting. But sheesh it’s not smooth AT ALL! There has to be some swipe option to get out of certain screens. Just a thought.

I really wish I could give ShopThing a great rating, because the idea of it seems amazing. But ShopThing ruins it for me, it’s super glitchy, once your in someone’s live there is no way to go back without force closing ShopThing , freezes/crashes all the above.. unfortunately I haven’t even purchased anything off ShopThing because I’m so turned off with how unreliable ShopThing is why would I want to risk putting my money on it too!
Fantastic idea, really sad ShopThing isn’t as great as it should be :(

Love shopping and using ShopThing , but often times ShopThing crashes and/or the videos posted by the shoppers end up as blank screens. Have a hard time keeping up with the content and making the best use of ShopThing when it’s unable to be used.

I was so excited to find ShopThing, so much potential!

Please invest in improving ShopThing experience both from a user and technical standpoint!

ShopThing takes way too long to load, which discourages customers and makes them just leave ShopThing , rather than sit and wait for it to load items. The UX could look better and be easier to navigate. More shoppers would also be awesome.

If these things improved, I think this business has so much potential to do great.

App can be glitchy and slow but customer service with Stephanie really saved the day for me. The process is long and slow but the deals are worth it at the end in my opinion. It’s got great potential.

I have made 4 purchases on ShopThing and the shoppers have been fantastic. When purchasing it does let you know shipping times. Since I am in the US it takes a little longer but the deals are great !

I tried to sign up and they were waiting on a code from my email and there was no code only a link so I clicked it and then they say it was verified but in ShopThing u could not get in
