This is the absolute worst banking application I have used to date. I literally have to call the bank every time i try to do anything because its always locking me out. Type ur password wrong once and you are screwed. It also doesn’t let u store log in information and everything u pan out of TexasBayCU it completely clears your screen. The prior application was even better than this and thats not much to say.
For starters , once you download TexasBayCU you have to call the bank to setup a password . Took me 2 days to get ahold of a rep. Once that was settled, I logged in but TexasBayCU is sooo dam slow. I’m using an iPhone XS( which I doubt should be a slow phone in my opinion). TexasBayCU is slow, loading screens galore, basically freezes. To be honest is anyone is giving it 5 *, I’m pretty sure they’re working for the bank itself. Paid reviews in other words. Needs a lot of work. Definitely did not make things “easier” like they claim.
TexasBayCU works when it wants to. Usually doesn’t work for me as I have to call the CU to help me unlock my app. I have mine set up for Face ID to open it. Most times it tells me I can’t access TexasBayCU and have to call the CU. However, I wish when it does work there was an option to pay my TXBCU credit card through TexasBayCU with an external account. That would make life a little nicer with this CU. Hopefully they will add an option like this for us.
Most of the time I log in through safari because TexasBayCU is so slow. Takes forever for me to be able to click my account see what I’ve spent or to make a credit card payment.
Suddenly begins to ask for answer security codes, TexasBayCU send the codes to your phone but the same that app doesn’t recognize the number received and then go to your accounts is not allowed.
I have enjoyed the customer service and the benefits of this banco since it’s prior location on the other side of the street before the new bank was made. The biggest pet peev is that the old and almost always faulty ATM was placed in the NEW bank building!!! This is the ONLY ATM at this location and it has been out of service COUNTLESS times when I needed it. I’ve considered changing banks just because of it !! Please please please update this, I’m sure it’s the oldest piece of machinery at this new and great location. The only other thing that bothers me is the hours, you guys stopped opening on Saturdays…. I work Monday thru Fri 8-5 so I have no time to go to the bank in person unless I default on my hours at my job . Please consider everyone’s schedule and be reasonable in understanding that that just doesn’t cut it for most people. Thanks you
At first it was slow and took a minute to set up but once that was done it worked like a charm. I was able to change my address in TexasBayCU which is great. Setting up the Touch ID took a little know how but I got it figured out. And I am not a bank employee, I have been with this bank for 20+ years though and this is a way better app than the last one.
