Accointing by Glassnode Reviews

I spent the last 3 days downloading and trying all of the crypto tracking apps and services out there - and FINALLY found the only one worth my time and effort: this app! It doesn’t support some of the more esoteric alt coins in my portfolio (yet) but they say they will. Another HUGE benefit is their tax reporting tool. They also support all the major wallets and exchanges - including Trust wallet, which not all the other trackers do. AND they connect to other tracker services like Delta, CoinTracker, and CoinTracking. I’m relieved and excited to have finally found something that works.

It’s too bad this software is buggy. Entering dates and times is tedious as it changes after you confirm. Then you have to go back in and correct it.

I entered my transactions manually. Everything was done correctly. All my coins show the correct values except ETH. I entered $5000 worth of transactions (which all show up under details), but the total for ETH is only $897. Not only that, but it reads .3 ETH in my portfolio when it should read 1.5 ETH. I went in to each transaction and checked and rechecked. I saved each one again. I cleared the cache and restarted Accointing . The ETH mistake is STILL THERE. So frustrating after spending so much time entering and rechecking all data.

I has so much potential. Why don’t you fix these obvious bugs?!

Hard to read and work with on a phone. Really needs an iPad version. I like the web version, although all versions could use much better portfolio tracking and analysis tools. Generally happier with it tho than others I’ve tried. They just need to keep building out the feature set and, as I said, make an iPad version.

One concern, opening Accointing goes right into it, which is a little concerning. I guess it’s using FaceID, but there’s no indication of that if it is. If so, should give some feedback that it’s using FaceID. Else, should never just go into and start showing everything without a login. Of course nothing can be bought, sold, or moved in Accointing , so it’s probably not a big deal.

I’ve spent no less than two weeks trying and paying for crypto portfolio trackers, generated tax reports, and some type of platform that would actually connect exchanges/wallets instead of just claiming to (and failing miserably). Finally... success! I’ll not get the $$ nor time back from Accointings predecessors, but I’ll sing the praises of the one that works! Yay this app, thank you and keep up the good work!!

Overall I like Accointing . It’s good to be able to quickly get a snapshot of the value of my accounts and wallets.

It’s usually a little off in the transaction calculations though so I don’t plan to use it for my taxes. Also, the account value chart is pretty but basically useless. You can’t change it and it has very little useable information. The charts for individual securities only work in 1hr, 4hr, and 1 day and those are glitchy with the newest candle usually appearing as if it gapped up or down. Basically the charts are unusable. Still it’s my go to for seeing at a glance what my account is doing.

Accointing has a lot of potential, but there are a lot of nuisances. Every day Accointing seems to force a logout, requiring you to log in again. It also has connection errors constantly. Currently, the Market tab isn’t even working; it just says connection error and nothing displays. If I click a coin to look at the Trading View chart, I get a connection error banner as well but then it loads. Sometimes the charts take a long time to update as well. Please fix!

this app gives me a really great view across all of my exchanges and wallets. Love the breakdown coin by coin, wallet by wallet, net gains, unrealized gains/losses, realized gains/losses.

When the various API imports don’t work well, it’s really easy for me to tweak and make the transactions right.

I have not contacted support yet, no experience there yet. Will be using this for taxes next year.

Accointing is phenomenal and I can’t believe it’s free. I spent months trying to find the right crypto portfolio app and I am so lucky to have found this app. This is the only free app I could find that shows your all time gain/loss of individual coins. Metrics are super modern and the display is great. You’ll love it.

UI is super nice. Don’t listen to the comments about Accointing is asking for your wallet private key. This is completely FALSE. Accointing asks you for the read only API key so your app is up to date with the latest activity on your portfolio. Some people just don’t read.

Overall, Accointing is great for connecting my accounts and tracking my portfolio. However, Accointing is missing some key features that the desktop app has like displaying total P&L in $ and % and per-coin P&L in %.

Once the mobile app is on par with desktop, this would be a 5 star app.

The latest app is getting there, especially the Algorand support. Need support for Harmony One. Will use if Harmony ONE is supported. By the way, what’s up with the comma at the top rather then at the bottom as like the decimal point? No one caught this? It stares at you in the face. It was there in the old app and still there in the new version. Come on!!!

It took a few days to connect to KuCoin but once it finally did it’s been working well since. Nice graphs and user interface.

Last year I had someone do my taxes charged me a small fortune…I found out later he was using this app full me once…
As always it would be nice to be able either to chat if needed by phone or on the site live.

I have a bunch of different wallets and exchange accounts, and Accointing accurately tracks my holdings and transactions with very little manual work on my part.

Love being able to see where My coins stand

Gemini is “bugged” according to auto replies with no interaction with a human yet. Already bought a package to file taxes which I now cannot do. This is before finding out this app won’t even sync the Earn deposits too. I hope others try out services like Koinly which has manual and api importing that works!

You’re importing an incorrect number of shares so it doesn’t balance to my transactions. I’ve deleted Coinbase and imported it twice and it’s still wrong despite you insisting it’s been fixed. At least let me override the Coinbase imported share total so it balances. The transactions are fine, the ending shares are not.

Very good crypto tracker with great data. Connects to most exchanges via api’s. Support is very responsive quite frankly, excellent.

Can you confirm if the website is currently down?

I want to love Accointing, but it fails at its most important feature, which is accuracy. I’m guessing the high reviews haven’t yet realized there numbers aren’t correct.

App is super good to check your portfolio on the go, having the desktop dashboard helps my trading a ton!

Signup flow was a huge pain. After finally getting into the account and adding in my exchanges I noticed the trade sync feature missed many of my crypto to crypto trades. Will be looking for an alternative.

Tried to sign up with my google account. Accointing just spins, and never opens. Well it looked interesting, but unable to even use it. Dumb.

I’m sorry to learn that to link my Coinbase account I’d have to provide my public and private key. NEVER!
