With bears in such abundance this year, it would be good to know when the pickup will be so i can minimize exposure to upended garbage cans strewed all over the hillside. Collection is never the same time from week to week. Put a gps locator on the trucks so we can know when pickup will happen and act accordingly.

Yeah, the city sends out that calendar which gets stuck in a drawer and is hardly ever referenced by me. AVLCollects will notify you before the day trash and/or recycle is due to be picked up.you can set up the day and time you want to be notified.

You can view future collection days-very handy on holidays. I like that you can look up an item to see if it is collected as a recyclable and if it isn’t recyclable, what you should do with it i.e.: batteries.

Asheville collects is excellent-reliable and does what it is supposed to do without ads or other annoyances.

Helps alert me before my various collection days. Not overbearing with alerts and easy interface.

The messages I get from AVLCollects helps me keep up to date on trash/recycling/yard waste pickups. Also, during a holiday week, it helps me get my trash out on the correct day.

These reminders are an excellent service to customers. Saves me from trying to remember if it is recycling or yard debris collection week or what the collection schedule is in a holiday week.

Great app to remind of pick up dates in case we forget or we have a holiday.
