Android tv Sony tv app crashes randomly. When started it sure the server mini and crashes

"Play" control on TV has stopped working. Remote control is functioning and works on all other menu items. Uninstalled and reinstalled Jellyfin, to no avail. Any ideas?

Jellyfin server constantly dropping connections to all device attached. TV, Blu-ray players and Mobile devices all on the same network. Using Plex,Mezzmo, and Serviio stream to the same devices from same hard drives off the same PC with no problem. Constantly restarting jellyfin fixes the problem. I tried this app based on all the reviews as a Free alternative to Plex since they want to charge me to stream locally to any device that's not hardwired to the network. But having to stop and restart the server every time i use or re-use a device is a little to much . even for a free app. Also struggled for hours to try to get the jellyfin player client to work on my android TV and MBP to the point i just gave up. Bubbleupnp works for cell phone and notepad after i constantly restart the server for each device. May have to move on until you guys can develop a more stable version. Ironic because I chose stable windows version in the option box

Close and restart the Jellyfin app on iPhone
Update Jellyfin app to the Latest Version for iOS

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Jellyfin app issues:

Force Stop the Jellyfin App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Jellyfin app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Jellyfin to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Jellyfin App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Jellyfin app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Jellyfin.

Fix Jellyfin unable to contact server/ Jellyfin internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Jellyfin » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Jellyfin » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
