GHIN Status

My Apple Watch is no longer connecting to the app on my iPhone. I have used it several times but now cannot get it to connect. I have powered off both devices and still nothing. Any guidance would be appreciated.

The scoring feature on my Apple watch disconnects after a few holes and my watch cannot reconnect to current round on my phone

Tried uninstall, install, clear storage and cache on pixel 8 and the app doesn't work. However, it does work on my old One Plus. This is a drag and the solutions don't work

App keeps stopping

Trying to install the app from Google Playstore (android) it just keeps circling and says Pending but never loads.

my i phone keeps locking and so I have to open it on every hole and then reopen the app on my apple watch. Is this supposed to happen?

App will not open. I reinstalled and continue to have issues. Internet Wi-Fi is strong.

I purchased the GHIN Apple Watch feature but it will not open up on my watch. Will it work and if not how do I get a refund?

During a round I set my phone down, play the hole and when I pick it up to enter score, GIR, Fairway hit, etc. it resets to the Home Screen and the previous holes played have been deleted. No way to resume play.

GPS not available. My club Quail Hollow Country Club in Ohio has 2 courses. Ghin gps works on devlin but fails oñ Weiskopf. This has occurred all year so far.

Using the app on my iphone 13 pro for scoring/gps during a round the app resets to the splash screen each time I open it. As previously stated, it retains the round info but it sure takes up time to do this. Very frustrating.

My GHIN # 11272004 Golfer lookup is not working for several weeks. I contacted GHIN yesterday- they told me to contact my golf club- legend oaks. Tyler at legend oaks also confirmed his app is not letting him lookup up golfers.

It just sits there and won't open. 4 days now!

The current round needs to be restarted frequently. The ap doesn’t reset or freeze but stops the current round. You then need to restart the round. It remembers your entries up to that point (you get to a screen asking you to either delete or finish) but you need to reload the course and re-link with the Apple Watch. Happened several times during each round.

I didn't have problems with endless buffering on my old phone but on my new Galaxy it buffers after the first time I load up the app. I have tried reinstalling the app three times same result. I also get a pop window indicating a problem try later type of message.

In the middle of the round the lowere portion of screen expands to half way up. The remaining half is not so small the course layout with ysrdage is not enough to help. Reloaded app but same problem.

When I try to open GHIN app. It tells me I need an update, can't ever find that update. Just started doing this 10/25/22. I have a Samsung android

Using the USGA GHIN app with Iphone and apple watch, when the phone locks the yardage is no longer available on the apple watch. Have to put passcode in to unlock the phone each time to be able to see yardage on the iphone, this is very annoying. Is there a work around for this problem? Thank you...

This was PREVIOUSLY a good app that worked flawlessly, until GHIN apparently (and recently) acquired it. Now it's crap; crashes all the time; can't find a satellite; defaults to the green map instead of the hole map. Unreliable; makes my rounds WORSE not better.

Play with GPS loads course then goes back to home screen. Galaxy S21+ and Android.

I’ve upgraded to GHIN gps enhanced. I have Apple Watch series 5 paired with IPhone 12 Pro. The app works on phone. The app is on Apple Watch , the GHIN app on phone detects Apple Watch and requests you to open app on Watch, but when activating the app on the watch, it momentarily opens but does not stay open. Other People have posted same problem. What is the fix? Please respond Thanks Marianne

After I select my course on iPhone GHIN app and then open on Apple Watch, my watch keeps searching but can’t sync with phone app. It synced the first few times I used it but no longer.

I am unable to submit hole-by-hole with stats for home course and tees. It says my course handicap is 83 whenever entering, but other tees work okay. Please let me know how to fix this. Thanks

App won’t alllow me to select tees when calculating handicaps.

Cannot monitor fellow golfers when I look up. Enter the name says no golfer. I don’t have restrictions set or nothing

iPhone app is stuck on score screen, won’t allow me to swipe back to GPS yardages screen. If I post the score and hit “next” it goes to the next hole score instead of GPS yardages and is stuck there. Uninstalled and reinstalled, still stuck.

I have now made repeatedly the experience that in the middle of the round the GHIN app shuts down, and when restarted, i can't get back in my current game. Which is annoying if i keep track of my score via the app. this issue occured also before the apple watch inclusion was implemented.

Once course is selected app will not bring up course graphics but returns to home screen. It will let me post my score but no graphics or yardages for holes. Not sure how to fix this. Have tried the fixes on the internet but to no avail.

Since I subscribed six weeks ago, the app has unlocked twice for a half dozen holes on seven rounds. It says “do you want to upgrade?” And I say yes and it tells me that I’m already subscribed. About 1 of 20 attempts it actually unlocks the green features. I canceled my subscription, but I can’t get a refund. I feel very ripped off.

My GHIN App shows only distance to green center with lock on front and back distances. On one course it showed front, center and back on the front nine and only center on back nine. The settings screen is set to show all three distances. I am using the free version (4.2.2) on an Android phone and have uninstalled and re-installed and cleared the cache. Still have the problem and so do some of my friends.

The app won’t let me choose tees when calculating course handicap. How can I fix that?

I select play w gps and the first hole loads w yardages but no course graphics for 1st hole. I select next hole and the app crashes. Also, it shows that these features may locked, so I select to upgrade for $39.99, but app tells me Im already registered.

After a use or two and I go back and select my home course, it won’t let me select a tee. Not for any partners I have on my iPhone. Only thing that lets it work is rebooting iPhone. Can you fix it?

After logging my scores for 3 times my app just spins trying to connect. Requires I uninstall and reinstall. This has been going on for at least 2 years. I have the latest Android phone and was a problem for my last android phone. Do you know why this occurs?

I have a Google Pixel 6 Pro android device and tried the fix below, but it didn't work. I cleared the cache but not the user data. If I clear user data is it going to clear all of my scores out where I have to start over establishing my handicap? This would be a great feature, but once it loads and I try to put in input or click to go to next hole the app crashes.

USGA ghin site and USGA GHIN app both reject my valid logins from my iphone. Same login info as I use on my computer.

uninstalled app, reinstalled app, just get the main screen. When i hunt around it states that i have to create account but then doesnt allow me to very as the "OK" button doesnt progress. I have tried shutting the phone down and restart but that doesnt work either.

how do I join so I can maintain a handicap? How much dies it cost?

Everytime you launch the GPS feature, after the first hole comes up, it crashes. This is on a new android phone.
