Stupid app won’t let you tap the back or exit button at the top of the screen/application usually. It’s at the very edge of the screen and will keep you stuck on certain pages. I end up having to close myJacksonCounty and reopen it just to do basic things. A whole county with all those funds and a lackluster bare minimum mobile application. Catch up with the times !
There are at least 12 Jackson Counties in the US that I know of. myJacksonCounty simply states “Jackson County”, but no state. I signed up to see if it was Florida, but I guess not since it won’t pull up my home by name, address nor parcel number. But the tax notice I received stated to download the Jackson County Tax app, but this is the only one I see on the iPhone app search that has Jackson County and tax in it. Obviously myJacksonCounty needs work for identification and use purposes.
This Payit site is so dumb and such a waste of time. The old site was so much better and easier to work with. I hate that my tax dollars are paying for this inferior 3rd party. 😡
Why isn’t there a way to print a Personal Property Tax receipt from myJacksonCounty ?!?
Very in adequate app. Very consistent with the week website as well. There’s no way to get your receipt from taxes you paid.
This is the absolute worst non helpful app I’ve ever downloaded!!
Watch out! While myJacksonCounty works fine, you’ll pay a “processing fee” ($8+ in my case) PLUS a $2 “convenience fee.” Hey, why is it that they always want to charge extra to pay your bill? Then your bill isn’t really your bill, is it? It’s $10 more. Pay the “processing” out of the tax money I just paid! Quit asking for more. This is the 21st century and asking people to pony up more money for the “convenience” of paying online is bogus. Paying online is the standard way of doing things these days and shouldn’t cost extra.
Also, if there was a way to avoid these fees, no explanation was given for how to avoid them.
Do not use myJacksonCounty.
There is no way to print a receipt in myJacksonCounty . You have to go to the website for a receipt nwhich defeats the purpose of of using myJacksonCounty .
Difficult to print an official receipt, I don’t understand how this feature was left out. Very Puzzling!
myJacksonCounty is better than mailing and the portal. You just need to add the Property Account # and link your accounts to skip some steps and pay things quicker. myJacksonCounty method is different but it only took me less than 5 mins to pay my bill. So thanks for creating it :)) I am satisfied and glad I didn’t have to go there in person.
No more searching through the odd filters on the tax search website. If for only the feature to be able to pay and show payment, that’s more clear than showing an image of a print out. This with QLess in Blue Springs cuts out a lot of time.
