Looks like Vyom was built as a high school project. 99% of the time it doesn’t work. I can see my deposits and account information once a leap year. I got so frustrated that I thought of dropping a feedback on Vyom . No surprises, Even the feedback functionality is not working. HORRIBLE!!
The activation automatically sends a text message to an unknown number to verify if mobile is registered. This is very poor design.
Vyom should prompt for login with customer id/password and send sms to registered mobile just like in internet login to verify mobile via SMS sent after login.
Vyom should also allow FaceID login on iPhones after SMS verification is complete using an option to toggle FaceID login.
Please make Vyom user friendly without so much advertisement of products and the most important thing is please make Vyom working properly.
If it doesn't do the basic task then why Vyom should exist ?
This new redesigned app already had issues when it was released. I was atleast able to log in and access my account. But after the recent update, Vyom no longer works and freezes after I enter my pin. Very disappointed.
I am in the US and my US mobile number is registered with the bank/account. However of lat I am not receiving OTP when using internet banking. Was hoping to use this application but alas, this too does not let me register using debit card or internet banking. Please fix.
What a comedy app this is, can’t access mobile banking and its throws up connectivity issues error (and I’m typing this review from same network). It’s been years and the problem still persists.
Bank is worse!! online payments are difficult as half of the time this poor bank is showing “server is low”

Hi I am using an Iphone 13 but when trying to log in it is saying not able to detect a sim though it has one . The sim works fine for rest of the apps but not this. Its a shame that such issues are not fixed
I can’t even access my Union bank bank account from Vyom or even website. Worst bank ever. Despite trying every possible thing, Vyom always says that there’s no SIM card in my phone (obviously there is). So dumb. And the staff can never help me either.
It has test data(mobile number) loaded and I believe there are zero users using this ridiculous application as no one can verify their information and login. Very disappointed.
I have more than one accounts registered with the same mobile number. When I login I am shown just one of the many accounts registered with the same mobile number, with no obvious way to switch to other accounts.
Why is Vyom assuming some random number when to trying setup, I am unable to edit that number and when I touch anywhere on the screen the message automatically is being sent to that incorrect number and says number is not registered.
Keeps saying “…connectivity issues, please…” forever. Recent upgrade changed the name and look and feel so much so that I couldn’t recognize or find Vyom , now named ‘this app’!
Loved the Corp Bank mobile app which has been disbanded for quite some time now.
Rest of the world advances while this bank doesn’t.
After corp and union merger mobile banking is a nightmare. Vyom requires reactivation everytime either sim or device is changed. Other bank app dont require to maintain sim in the phone after it is registered. But not this one. Also fund transfers never go through. In the last step after entering transaction pin it says connectivity error. I dont recommend Vyom to NRI users.
It is a shame a bank of this size has such a crappy App. Instead of providing more/better functionality, Vyom takes digital banking with UBI to Stone Age!
APP stopped working on my iPhone since I have a USA phone number, while it used to work with Andhra Bank App. Fails to launch Vyom with error “no SIM found” (while all other Indian banks mobile apps work!).
This is one of the worst banking app ever. Firstly, after the update it forced for doing KYC with branch again. After that, it keeps on failing with network connectivity issues all the times. Even the feedback can’t be submitted from Vyom as even that is not working. Not sure if any effort is made in doing user/ device testing before rolling out new version updates.
App architect should learn app experience from other banking services apps. Vyom design is pathetic, not sure who approved this non sense design. Specially for NRI customers, all restrictions. Like can’t use without sim, imps does not support, why sim is mandatory for registration and post registration? Wifi should be more than sufficient. Hope developers read this and improve user experience. Thanks you.
this new version this app ks supposed to provide better user experience. it’s even more frustrating than the one before. so basic but still screwed up.
App is very poorly designed from its interface and connectivity perspective. Need a big uplift from the developers to suit to the needs of growing iPhone community
Each time after update it’s not working correctly. The people who Open the NRI OR NRE acc how they can go there branch each time to solve the issue.
