Not Worth It: High Price, Basic Content

Simply put, FertilityPeriodTracker just isn’t worth the astronomical price. It’s not even worth a third of what it costs. It’s a very basic app. The tracker is a simple calendar that lets you input start and finish dates, moods, symptoms, flow, and sexual activity, that’s it (besides a small notes section for whatever you desire to input). On top of that, when inputting your menstrual period information they limit your cycle to a max of 30 days (people with longer cycles cannot effectively use this). It also limits the days of menstruation to 10days. The “Be Better” section includes an area of four basic tips/facts in relation to menstrual health (things you can find for free on webmd, google, or better tracking apps out there). The section isn’t very inclusive with its graphics. It’s cis-genedered, heteronormative, and white washed.

And that’s it. There is nothing else FertilityPeriodTracker offers. There’s no input for birth control, temperature tracking, weight, mucus type, etc. It doesn’t have calendar reminders, forums, or anything else that can remotely justify the cost. There are much better apps out there for a fraction of the price. Honestly, there are free apps that offer more than this. Save yourself some money and look for anything else. It’s easy to find what this gives you, FertilityPeriodTracker isn’t worth it.

has AMAZING potential but prices are absolutely appalling

i was going to give this 1 star but it gets 2 for beautiful design and smooth layout. however, FertilityPeriodTracker is for people with normal periods and does not account for the fact that more people than you would think have a period longer than 10 days. i see that as a fixable issue that you could increase in an update. however, i strongly believe you should not have to pay to be able to view a calendar. if you still REALLY want that money consider this: it’s free to put in your cycle info and look at the calendar. pay to input symptoms and see advanced diagnostics. it’s almost laughably horrible that you can’t use FertilityPeriodTracker without paying. FOR OTHER CONSUMERS READING: clue works amazingly for me and i’ve used it for a year now; getting ready to check out flo from seeing recommendations. unless you’re able and willing to spend 40$ every month FertilityPeriodTracker isn’t it.

By

Wow

Lol I figured why not try another tracking app but when I went to put in my average cycle days, I could only put in 30 and mine are usually between 35-40. So I’ll be deleting FertilityPeriodTracker and using Flo.

Too basic for the price

I immediately had to pay for a subscription to FertilityPeriodTracker . They don’t even offer a dialed down free version. I assume it’s because FertilityPeriodTracker is already as basic as it gets. I saw it in a Facebook add talking about mucus type and textures and smells, period tracking, ovulation tracking, amongst other things. The mucus thing isn’t even an option in FertilityPeriodTracker . False advertising at its finest. I’ve gotten more out of free apps. This one limits the amount of days I can have a period. I have had some periods last all month how is it supposed to be accurate if I can’t even put in that information. I can’t put my meds in, can’t put in any reminders. It’s just too much money for too little resources. Not worth the time or money.

Nice design - terrible cost

I really like the way FertilityPeriodTracker is designed. It’s simple and easy to use and understand. Some apps make the period tracker over complicated. With that being said, the cost of $10/ weekly is outrageous and I’m honestly thinking it’s a glitch or something. How can you justify charging someone $10/week to look at this simple calendar. You would have more consistent users if your cost matched your product. I would consider spending $2 one time charge but other than that I’m deleting it if the cost doesn’t change.

Great app but some major flaws

Ok so I wanna start off by saying it’s amp great app. There’s just a few things that the developers could possibly improve on. First of all, prices are disgusting. Really? $14 a week? Second of all I keep on getting the ad to go premium and there’s no exit button so ur kinda just stuck there. I can’t get out of the ad and am very frustrated because I just want to use FertilityPeriodTracker . I understand you need to be payed so my advice, ads. Quick ads that don’t get in everyone’s way and gets the job done. Wouldn’t be so bad 🤷‍♀️

Not recommended by me.

I’m really disappointed because I was downloading FertilityPeriodTracker to track my periods, as I was filling it out I couldn’t put me full date of birth due to the fact that I’m younger than 2004 (which is the youngest limit on users of FertilityPeriodTracker ) but then!.... FertilityPeriodTracker Store says it’s recommend for 12+ it makes no sense. They also made you pay!? No thanks I want to properly tract my period without having to pay for it.

Not for all women

FertilityPeriodTracker isn’t for all women. FertilityPeriodTracker is for women with normal cycles. I actually think that a man created FertilityPeriodTracker. I was quite disappointed when I could not go back and log my cycle from June 29th which was my last cycle. The furthest back it allowed me to go was July 10. So sadly I’ll be deleting FertilityPeriodTracker. Also it only lets you select 10 days as a period length. My last cycle, my period lasted 23 days. So yeah, I’ll just continue with Flo. Flo has it all!!

Disappointed

I downloaded FertilityPeriodTracker after I saw an ad for it. I put my information in but it wouldn’t let me put in my last cycle because it wasn’t within the range of days it offered for me to choose from, so I just chose a random date. Then it wouldn’t let me use FertilityPeriodTracker without putting in my payment information after I already chose free trail. FertilityPeriodTracker doesn’t work as advertised so I will just stick with Clue, my other period tracker app.

By

👎🏽

Downloaded then deleted immediately after seeing there’s only a 7 days trial then after that you must pay $14 a WEEK! Not per month per WEEK. That’s absolutely ridiculous when there are so many free cycle tracking apps out there that have better features. It would be smarter to make your apps free but charge for extra features. Like nobody is going to seriously pay that much for a basic app.

By

Won’t allow me to put in the date

I deleted FertilityPeriodTracker literally within 2 minutes of opening it, I was asked to put in my last cycle and it won’t go to any other month than the month it is, it’s the 31st but I have not had a cycle this month. It won’t let me go to the previous month at all. Does me no good if it won’t even work for me.

By

Terrible Update

This most recent update is ridiculous it deleted all information that was on FertilityPeriodTracker and now does even allow you to put in notes about the period or anything else. I could just use a calendar and track on my own now since this is a waste of money. Also I want a refund

By

The calendar doesn’t even have year.

FertilityPeriodTracker is supposed to be a tractor and the correct year isn’t even on the calendar well it doesn’t take it there on it’s own you have to look for it. So mad that this is very poorly made like a child did it. Just fix calendar it will all be fine or I will ask for my money back!!! Like tomorrow!!!

By

Frozen/ glitching

I downloaded FertilityPeriodTracker and it is glitching and won’t let me put the date of my last cycle. I tried to go to July and it kept on glitching back to today’s date and won’t let me change it. It’s annoying. Please fix it and I will more than gladly re-download FertilityPeriodTracker .

EXCELLENT

Wasnt bad at all you dont even need the stuff you could pay for it tracked my period perfect no problems at all for FREE you do NOT need the extra stuff to buy. It tracks your period for FREE.

Can’t use the app unless you pay (3 day free trial)

There are plenty of other period tracking apps that cost much less and/or are free. I’m not sure what makes this one so special. $15/week is absolutely insane. This makes me question how authentic those 5 star reviews are. Anyways, I deleted pretty soon after downloading. Don’t waste your time.

By

Wack

FertilityPeriodTracker basically tries to con you into a weekly subscription. It gives you an option to pay and an option to pay, warns you that after your free trial it will automatically deduct payment from your ApplePay unless you cancel it- but has no obvious button to cancel, unsubscribe, or even leave the page! Smh...

Days are off

The 2019 calendar in FertilityPeriodTracker is off by one day. August 1st started on a Thursday and FertilityPeriodTracker says that it started on Friday. This needs to be fixed ASAP since it is tracking your period and you don’t want to think you are a day late when you aren’t going to be.

By

A scam to say the least

Why would anyone pay $40 a month to track their period when there are plenty of free apps to do so. Don’t let a company like this make you feel compelled to spend $10 A WEEK to track your own cycle and symptoms. The people who run FertilityPeriodTracker should feel ashamed to price this so high.

By

Not letting me put my birthday

It won’t even let me put my birthday I’m twelve and I started my period when I was nine you guys need to fix that

By

Quite dissapointing

disappointing, I downloaded FertilityPeriodTracker because I wanted to track my period and I was very hopeful that it would work. But as always I read the reviews. By the time it was done downloading I opened FertilityPeriodTracker up even after seeing bad reviews hoping it would be different. It was okay at the start until I signed it with information. They only had the limit of 10 days which disappointed me, but I kept going anyway just to see. When I used FertilityPeriodTracker and figured out I had to pay just to see results I was very disappointed about FertilityPeriodTracker and I lost hope. But I didn't end up deleting FertilityPeriodTracker hoping updates would come. But In my opinion, the only things wrong would be the pay and the limits. But overall that it could be a really good my app! And if it got some updates I would personally support it.

AMAZING !!

Good for tracking ur cycle and gives pretty reliable results:)

By

Pretty but no.

Sorry, but even with how pretty it is I’m not going to spend $15/week to track my period when I can do it for free. 🙄
Edit: after reading the developers responses to other reviews (particularly to CassandraLV3H) I’m even more disgusted by the prices AND the developers. Do not give your money to these people.

By

Can’t even use it

I can’t even use FertilityPeriodTracker because it only goes as far as the initial BetterMe screen. At first I thought it was an issue with my phone, but now I have the iPhone XS Max and I still can’t get further than that screen. It stays on that screen for a while and then it just closes.

By

Irregular cycles complicate this

So I didn’t get past the initial set up so I can’t say how effective it is in actually tracking, but as someone with PCOS that doesn’t have regular cycles and who has long cycles I’m not able to set it up to use.
