eh not that good

I have streamed this one artist every single day and night, But the number of streams won’t move at all?? And i think you shouls give us better rewards? I don’t like the 100+ so maybe you can try to fit in everyone?

Wouldn’t waste your time…

Renaissance is just really horrible. There are always problems with the streams crossing over, and they also are really, really bad at getting back to you when you need help. So, in effect, I really wouldn’t waste my time. You can arrange something else amongst a fandom for an artist’s overall streams to get increased. This just causes more headaches for everyone involved. Good concept, bad execution.

Great idea but

I loved the idea of creating a public streaming party but the rewards are bad maybe try contacting artist or companies so you can give out official merch as rewards . Renaissance is similar to Last fm so and station head .

doesn’t count streams

it’s a good app in theory but it doesn’t accurately count streams accurately. for example, yesterday I listened to about 15-20 songs throughout the day but it only says I listened to 1. I wouldn’t put too much faith in this.

also i’ve never left a review on an app in my life but I needed you all to know this is a waste of time. 👍

I love Renaissance

Stars. What were once just ethereal objects in the sky, have now become my reason for existence. I can’t wait to listen to more Peppa Pig.

🔥🔥🔥

It’s a cool app but...

Its a cool app because I like to see who I listen too but it’s very inaccurate for example I have 229 Demi Lovato streams but on her artists profile it says I have 27 so I just wish it would be updated

Too Laggy

has a ton of potential to be an amazing app but its way to slow and laggy to be of use sometimes 👎🏾👎🏾

Not accurate

It’s the first that I have a problem with Renaissance (at least the first time that I’ve noticed). It’s not counting my streams at all, it’s gone days not counting any of the music I’ve been listening to.

Could be great BUT…

I love the idea and direction of Renaissance but it’s lacking critical functionality that is essential to make it enjoyable. I started using Renaissance sometime in February and started using it daily and seriously since end of March. I have some Cons and Pros. Renaissance would be extremely beneficial for fans and Artist’s if they fix a few things. Con – The major issue I have, and it is quite frustrating, is creating streaming parties. Users can monopolize streaming parties and prevent other fans from creating streaming parties. For example. Me and a few friends have been trying to create streaming parties for Nicki Minaj’s Discography for weeks and we have all been having the same issues. All 9 of us have the issues I explain next. When I attempt to create a streaming party, I get a message that a streaming party is already in progress. The message states “A party for “Nicki Minaj’ is already being hosted or is already planned. Check out their party below. You and host a party for it once the calendar opens up.” There is a button that directs you to the “current” party. The problem is there will be no streaming parties for her catalogue but multiple parties for single songs and playlists. Why are we not able to create a streaming party for her catalogue but can create multiple for a single song or playlists at the same time? If someone is constantly creating streaming parties for a single song (which they currently are for Nicki Minaj and it’s the same person creating the party), we will never have an opportunity to create one for her entire discography? The whole purpose of Renaissance is for fans (not just one fan) to create streaming parties for the Artist’s they like and compete with other fans. Con – It doesn’t always track ALL your streams. I stream music pretty much all day. I wake up to music, work with music in the background and go to sleep with a streaming playlist. If I start a playlist at night the next day, Renaissance seems to stop counting my streams at 50. I will wake up with my playlist still running. So, from a time period from, let’s say, 12 midnight through 6:30 am, Renaissance only registers I streamed 50 songs in 6.5 hours of uninterrupted streaming. We know this is not accurate. Most of the songs I stream are less than 3.5 minutes long. For comparison’s sake, let’s say every song I streamed was 5 minutes long. There are 390 minutes in 6.5 hours. If every song I streamed was 5 minutes long, Renaissance should register 78 streams. If every song I streamed was 6 minutes long Renaissance should register 65 streams. You see where I am going? It appears that Renaissance may not register streams if you don’t interact with your playlist every 2.5- or 3-hour period. (based on my analysis). Pro – The star earning aspect is fun and adds a fun feature to Renaissance . You earn starts by streaming and logging in daily and completing Daily Adventures. There have been 18 raffles since I started using Renaissance in February. Most have been for Artist merchandise and there was one raffle for a Vegas getaway to see an Artist Pro – Renaissance is another way for Artist’s to connect with fans, gain streams and gain new fans if they interactand provide merchandise for raffles if they utilize it.

Won’t work

Tried to use Renaissance. All it does is bring me to a progress screen, seems zoomed in or something, and won’t let me close it out. I’ve tried closing and reopening it, won’t work. Fix it please.

By

Stopped counting streams

It’s been updated, uninstalled/reinstalled. It stopped counting my streams about 10 days ago. Others in my group have the same issue. Please fix this. It was a fun app when it worked.

‼️

Renaissance is pretty cool, but I wish there better prizes. Some gift cards or kpop albums would be nice 👀

By

it’s a good idea

love the idea & like Renaissance , only issue i have is that the updates for stream counts lag when in parties, also really hope we can include apple music users.

By

Keeps crashing

I know my iPad is old but why does it keep crashing?

By

Bugs

Just 2 star cuz Renaissance doesn’t count all of my stream :( it counts llike 2 from every 10 stream

New update

Have been using Renaissance for almost two years and the new update completely wiped out my progress I’ve made. Same with my boyfriends as well. Super disappointed. This used to be my favorite app. It takes so much anyways to redeem anything now everyone is back at the start.

By

Fix the counter

It’s not tallying my plays properly. It’s still the same number. Started this November

By

Tragic

Renaissance deleted all my listen history and doesn’t work anymore.

Apple Music?

I wish this worked with Apple Music. Would be very helpful in that respect.

Love it!!

I love Renaissance!! My only concern is the daily cap. Maybe it should work like this: on the sweatcoin app, you can change your daily cap, as long as you pay a small monthly fee of your coins. It increases as the levels increase. For example, on the first level, which is free, you can earn up to 5 coins a day. But, there is an option to move up to the second level where you can earn 10 coins a day as long as you can pay 4.75 coins every month that you are this level. The highest level allows for earning 20 coins a day, if you pay 30 coins a month. If this system was implemented into Renaissance, people would be more motivated to reach large goals. I’ve calculated that it would take me almost 110 days to earn enough coins to redeem convert tickets, with the 5 coin a day cap. Different people listen to different amounts of music every day, so a 5 cap is a very small sum for someone like me who listens to music all day. I hope you consider, :)

Good concept

I like the concept and having my song tracked, however any of the rewards seem sort of ridiculous to claim. Do people really reach 2000+streams of an artist (AND a high coin amount) in a non ridiculous amount of time? Especially considering the 5 coin cap?

I do like Renaissance and think it is made well, but if you aren’t into mainstream pop then there really isn’t much meaning to Renaissance as almost all rewards need a popular artists steam count and coins. I know why you guys are doing it like this, it’s what makes the artists who pay you happy, but what about Renaissance users, are we just your product? Cause that’s how this reflects. Maybe if the main point of Renaissance was less advertised as earning coins and getting stuff and focused more on the social aspect, this affect wouldn’t be felt on app users. I will continue to use for now but I feel kinda bad just letting my self be used like a product while receiving very little benefit from using Renaissance.

Decent enough

I listen to music all day every day, non-stop. Hell, I even listen to it while I’m sleeping. I listen to maybe 200 songs a day or more, so I should be getting around 10 points or more a day. If I earned ten points a day, it would take me at least a month to be able to redeem for any kind of prize. Kind of a long time, but manageable I suppose. However, there’s a five coin cap per day. That makes it almost impossible to obtain certain items. It would take 240 days to be able to get concert tickets and two months to be able to get merch. In my opinion? That’s just outrageous. The 5 coin cap is ridiculous and makes Renaissance go from five stars to two.

Awesome but one thing

I really love Renaissance I used to use fix until it shut down and I really love it except for one thing... not enough prizes like for the entire time I’ve downloaded it the prizes never change. I liked fix better because you could search the artist you like and it will show about 10 prize options even if you don’t have enough it gives you an idea of how many points you need more to get the prize but not Renaissance. 😐

By

cool but glitchy and takes long

I don’t really use Renaissance to get merch as much as I use it to track what I listen to(since getting anything requires a years worth of stars and streams basically)and Renaissance will say I’ve listened to 5 songs by an artist, but when I look at their top streamers, it has me there as having streamed only one of their songs. If I wanted to get anything from Renaissance it’d take me really long to have enough stars and streams

By

Glitch on Numbers?

Love Renaissance ! It’s quite legit but I have been informed that a stream is 30 seconds of a song am I correct? I’ve been listening for a few hours and it only has counted only .1 stars because I have x2 on an artist. But when I click on the artist it shows as x13 is this a glitch?

By

Could be amazing

Doesn’t count streams

I’ve been listening to all the daily challenge artist songs, and none of them were counted

On top of that I switched to my own playlists and it recognizes I’m listening to the artists but doesn’t count the stream

By

Restriction in number of streams per day

Hi,
I noticed that once I get 5 coins and a certain amount of streams in a day, any other subsequent streams doesn’t add up to the total number of streams shown on the leaderboard.

I’m wondering if this is a glitch on Renaissance or you made it that way?

By

Rewards

I like the way it lets you see how much you listen to a artist, but the rewards of Renaissance is just very hard to get. We should get at least 0.10 a stream. Just someway to get rewards faster.

Great app.

A must-have for all music fans. Wish they can add more features to automatically play next song.

Doesn’t work...

I just recently downloaded the application seeing how much people enjoyed Renaissance . But now when I tried to open it, it fails to launch and stays on a single white screen. I tried restarting my phone, re downloading Renaissance , and even updating to the most recent firmware iOS but nothing works. I’d love to check it out..
