I Like it , however, language is an issue

I like the game greatly, however, if there can be an update that allows for more languages to be used in this game that would be appreciated, like I would like to use Japanese like I do many other games, however, it will just come out as an error using some random letters and numbers, such as when I do signature for profile and forums. If possible, I would like an update that can allow for the use of many other languages, though a translator would be good to use for translating text into another language for others who play this game who may be from another country such as European and Asian countries. I have encountered such things in other games and it makes it easier to communicate with other players of other countries who play as well. Plus if you allow for the ability to use other languages, this could allow the game to spread even further to other countries as well. This could also be beneficial to the game for they may have more donators from other countries that don’t use languages available to be used in the game such as English. Which this means the game could go for even more improvements or updates or events and so forth.

I can’t download it?

I love the game and have been playing off a browser the whole time. I finally decided to download the game so I wouldn’t have to watch a clock or set a timer for me to come back on. I successfully downloaded it and it worked fine for a couple of hours. After a while when I went to open TORN it was stuck on the start up page, with “this app” on it. So I finally deleted it figuring it was a glitch. I went and downloaded it again and I forgot about it. About half an hour later I needed my phone and unlocked it to find it still not downloaded. The progress bar didn’t even show up, just the spinning circle right before it starts downloading. I tried again about three more times with the same outcome. I always end up getting a “unable to download this app at the time” message and it cancels it. I don’t know if this is important but I play off both my iPad and my iPhone. iPad is having no problems with TORN , aside from some in-game glitches. It’s just the phone that’s not working.

Amazing Long Term Game

This is probably one of the best games you will ever find. this app is a game where you can do anything, be anybody and do it while you are meeting some great people along the way.

The only down side to the game is the steep learning curve. It truly is a long term game. I have been playing over 10 years and even I would not know how to start a new account in the game. I have referred many friends to the game and the friends I could convince to play for 2-3 months still play to this day. So if you want to truly give it a shot, play for 2-3 months and see how you like it.

As far as TORN itself, it is basically just an extension of the internet based game, that coincides with the web based game. You can log into both and play from both. TORN is fast enough and works well.

Doesn’t matter how long you play.

If you don’t pay to play, you will be left in the dust. The game actually tells you if you log in daily you will do great. Even after 1000 days of activity, crimes, gym, job points, faction. Doing the same Warehouse arson, OC, and training multiple times a day, this is all meaningless, all it takes is a 15 year old kid with moms credit card to buy Top Companies, Factions, Property, and Happy Jumps. To beable to beat players that been playing over 3 years in less then half a year. Kids buy Donator Packs, sell them and gambles the money as well. I don’t see why you would do this in a game. If you want to actually play a game this is not it, this is repetitive trash until you submit and buy donators pack. I wouldn’t even try this game it’s truly dated and just a scam to make as much money they can.

Ban happy

Just like many reviews on here, was banned because we had more than 1 account in the home. The accounts belong to me and my dad... doesn’t matter what you say or do, they won’t believe you. No customer service, surprised they are still in business with the way they treat you. If you are guilty in their eyes, you will never be able to prove you innocence. Stay away, would give 0 stars if allowed. They accuse and call you a liar. To be honest though, the game is pretty boring, very repetitive with little to do. They also banned my dad because of how often he played, called him robotic. Even sent them a screenshot of how many times a day he manually signed in, but they did not care and accused him of cheating. If you like to play games, stay away as you will get banned for using their app.

Multiple accounts

For everyone saying that admins r doing a bad job with the band and suspensions, if u read the rules account sharing means login in on the same device(according to them). They can't confirm if it's the same person using the account because they aren't stalking you with a camera. They track IPs of accounts and if two accounts share the same IP at some point in time they will assume you either have multiple accounts or your account sharing. Any ways great game. If anyone needs to trade msg me. SpectralR6_YT (can't remember my id #) lol

Great Barebones Torn App

I’d like to see more customization built in, but as it stands, TORN does the job well.

I’ve been playing this app since Nov 2018. I’m far from “completing” it, if that’s really possible. this app lives alongside my real life. I think that’s because the passage of time to accomplish anything feels roughly the same. Impatient people need not apply.

The game requires a lot of social interaction if you want to be successful. It is an RPG after all. Anyone who thinks they can hide behind a keyboard while being human garbage to others will find themselves cold and alone.

Long term. Great game.

I think this is a great game that I wish will stay getting better. Like any evolving game it has things that need changed. But anything needs to be updated with time. It is a game for anyone that likes this style. You can only log on once a week? That’s fine you can play. You can spend all your free time one it? That works too. You want to spend money on it? Deal. You want to spend in game money that you earned? Sure. Everything can be bought with in game dollars. It’s great for every style of player.

This is the best game, 2 decades ago

Do you like a game that promises fixes, reworks, updates and doesn’t deliver? Then boy is this game for you!

Ask any player how long they have been waiting for Crimes to be re-worked, warring re-work, bookie re-work, stock market updates or in general, just ANY feedback from the developers what-so-ever.

Are you a player who likes to dissect the numbers and min-max everything? Well, just hope that while you do it, the game doesn’t decide to make an example out of you and change the rules overnight and punish you for violating unwritten rules.

If you like nostalgia boy are you in for a treat. This game was made 10+ years ago, and still looks, acts and operates like it was made 10+ years ago. Excited for the Christmas event? Server overload. Is your faction excited to do a large crime event? Cloud fare server outage.

Do you like games where the staff play also but aren’t subject to the same rules as the player base? DING DING DING. This is your game!

So everyone a favor and just let this game die.

Nice game, with horrible user support and account management

The game is nice, but don’t let your family create new accounts, because they will ban some/all the accounts, since they think they are only 1 person behind them. It’s what happened to us. 3 people, 3 accounts: 1 marked for deletion, 1 suspended for a week, 1 nothing (we wonder why). Anyway, you can tell their tools don’t work as they expect and they can’t (or don’t want) fix them. While they demand respect, they don’t treat users with respect. Don’t spend real money on it, because your account could be suspended anytime without warning or without asking for clarifications

Sadly bad experience

We started this game in my family and we created 3 accounts. We also asked that if it was a problem that we have shared devices. The said no and they also said that we can help each other. Probably after after a couple of weeks they forgot everything, because they suspended 1 account for 1 week and they completely deleted another one. If you want start this game, don’t create more than 1 account per house, because you risk a ban. Maybe it’s Better one shared account. Anyway, we all stopped playing after what happened, we just wanted to play all together

Fantastic!

This game continues to deliver. I only wish I had found this game sooner. Lots of fun. There is room for more improvements. However there is do much to do, you wont be bored. Always something to do in the game. Great contest too. I would and have spent money on a Donator Pack. Its worth it. If you have any issues in game the developers are ready to respond and help. I give Five Stars!!!!

Great game!!

First I’d like to say that this is a fantastic game and TORN provides a much better way than safari can offer with the notifications you can get or we’ll used to be able to get before apple started denying the dev the ability to update TORN. Apple surely just lost a customer as I was about to get more apple products.

Best game, needs some performance updates

I’ve been playing this game for almost a year now and I love it, one of the best games I have ever played and exactly what I was looking for, but as of late I have been experiencing performance issues when loading the game/app or accessing the city map the game repeatedly crashes and or white screens

My apologies

Some guy told me to attack him for 50,000 thought it was an admin welcoming new players and helping them get started and now an actual admins trying to contact me and I can’t figure out how to use in game chat so ms_gamer if you see this my bad

Fun game tho
