Can’t open app on my phone. I tap on it and it looks like it wants to open but it’ll go back to the Homescreen.

Ever since I updated my iPhone with latest iOS 16 update. It want me me access SECU with mobile app. Screen goes black and never opens. Help I depend on this app.

Ever since I updated my iPhone 12 mini to IOS 16.4 I have not been able to use the app. When I try to use the app the screen goes blank and closes. Even after I restart my iphone and re-installed the app.

Ever since I updated phone to IOS 16 it hasn’t let me use the app. When I try to login the screen goes black and closes. Even after I restart my phone and re-installed the app it won’t let me do anything. I really need it fixed because the website doesn’t show transactions the same day and it’ll be out of order so I have no clue how much I really have in any of my accounts or my loan

Here are some helpful workarounds that should work whenever SECU app keeps crashing or doesn't work as expected on your iPhone 14, 13,12,10,8,7,6, SE,XS,XR.

How to fix SECU app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the SECU app on iPhone
Update SECU app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall SECU iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix SECU on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve SECU network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Turn off your VPN:
1. Goto "Settings" » "General" » "VPN".

SECU Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix SECU not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent SECU app issues:

Force Stop the SECU App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click SECU app. » click "Force Stop".

Update SECU to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear SECU App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "SECU app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch SECU.

Fix SECU unable to contact server/ SECU internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click SECU » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got SECU » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch SECU on android.
