The medical professionals I’ve interacted with have taken between 12 to 24 hours to respond to your inquiry. When they respond, there’s no name attached, effectively making your medical provider anonymous. Usually, this wouldn’t be much of a problem. However, most consultations require several messages back and forth until your medication/testing/procedure is recommended, if it’s approved at all. This means routine health problems become a multi-day or week-long saga of frustration.

When I call my bank or my insurance company, I really don’t like how long they keep me on hold. Galileo-based medicine effectively places you on hold, for 12 hours at a time, between every message you send about the health concerns you’d very much like to resolve.

Used this service twice. Only once successfully.
They have the absolute worst response time and the worst customer service.
First time I used it they took 6 hours from start to finish. Would not respond to any messages until I asked if they were a scam.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt and a second try months later. Same thing. It says they will respond within 2 hours, but they don’t. Once they did respond, they told me they could only help me if I signed up for the monthly plan and got my medical records transferred.
I used this in order to avoid going to the emergency room during covid, but after another 7 hours with no visit started I went anyways. Absolutely horrible service & would suggest using literally any other online doctor unless you have an entire day to wait around.

I get sick relatively easily and going to the doctor can be a hassle especially being a college student working multiple jobs. But it’s fear no more it no longer a hassle to speak to a doctor with Galileo! I can’t tell you how many times these doctors have really provided excellent medical advice for me when I’m sick or experiencing any sort of health issue. I had actually downloaded Galileo last year or so and throughly enjoyed the first free 6 month trial and was so sad when it ended because I couldn’t afford to subscribe at the time. But then a couple weeks ago I began having an allergic reaction to a prescription I received from an urgent care and I was really in a pinch because I didn’t know what was happening to me and really didn’t want to go to the ER. But then I remembered I still had Galileo and immediately subscribed and was provided with advice within a matter of a couple minutes after reaching out to them! They guided me through the necessary steps and provided excellent care for me in that situation and they always do in any situation. I always highly recommend Galileo to anyone and everyone and I’m highly appreciative that I even came across Galileo in the first place!

I LOVE Galileo. The doctors are so kind and helpful and informative and have given me such sound advice (even at like 1am when I feel sick they’ve responded super fast). I love love love this company. Worth every penny and more- on that note I can’t believe how affordable it is to be honest. I’ve told loads of people about it- whether you’re a worrier or not it’s sound advice from professional and kind doctors at all hours. Truly great.

I never ever write reviews.... Galileos team of doctors have helped me immensely. Anytime I had an issue they were always open to referring me to a specialist or help with pain. They gave me suggestions about the best treatment plan for me. I will say that sometimes there response time can be a few hours. But sometimes they respond right away and have other patients to assist! I would choose this app over any medical site or doctor!

I tried several telehealth services and was about to give up, but this app is the only one that has been able to address my needs taking into account my complex medical profile and the treatments started by my in-person health providers, with one of the cheapest costs of any service. Thank you so much to their team of intelligent doctors and their understanding because it really is a huge help for me.

All the other apps I tried or read about are either more expensive or only treat some issues. this app physicians answer promptly and efficiently, but they also seem caring. I’m happier with this than I’ve ever been with my insurance. Get it, you’ll love it. It’ll quickly pay for itself in saved copays. I hope they continue to expand so that they’re eventually able to help people all around the country.

I used this app for a non-urgent medical situation that I wanted to address before it got worse. I was hoping they would be able to help diagnose and fill my prescription at a local pharmacy without me having to brave going to an urgent care to wait hours to get in and be exposed to so many people in the pandemic. It worked and I am completely taken care of now. Full disclosure, the process took about 36 hours start to end—first time reaching out, getting a test that I needed delivered to my house which I paid for myself (so about 12 of those hours are on me because they gave me a quicker in person option), getting the prescription in and picked up. For my circumstances that worked great, but I wouldn’t recommend this app for situations that require immediate intervention, as they say their wait time is a couple hours which is pretty much between each reply. The practitioners I talked to were kind and responsive and I would absolutely use this app for similar events again.

For only 99$ a year this is by far the best investment. The doctors have gotten back to me so crazy fast about any issue I’m dealing with and have given great insights and explanations easily over text and are very knowledgeable. I was truly impressed with how detailed they were able to get and diagnose issues with accuracy. I use this service a ton and would recommend to anyone

When I tell you I NEVER do reviews but Galileo is so amazing I don’t even have words. I’ve had it for a couple of weeks and talked to a few different people on there and each one has been so kind and truly talked with me and validated me and made sure they got whatever I needed EXACTLY how I needed it. Nothing took more than an hour which is far more than I can say for a drs office. I just don’t have words if you’re on the fence let me tell you: DO IT!

This has to be one of the best health apps out there right now. It charges you like $40 for three months or something like that and you get all sorts of coverage. The doctors are from the top universities and top institutions around the world and their response time is amazing. like every time I’ve asked them a Question or had a doubt, they have been able to respond within a few hours. Sometimes within a few minutes. This is the first time over written an app review. That should say something.

Galileo has made my life SO MUCH EASIER!
Example 1: I have a canker sore, write a quick text to the doctor, within moments they write me a prescription, I walk to the store to pick it up, done.
Example 2: Need a therapist, text the doctor, within minutes they send me a list of therapists in my area who take my insurance.
Example 3: Want to update my birth control, shoot a quick text, boom, it’s ready for pickup.
Example 4: Problem with my ear, text doctor, immediate response with advice and recognitions for ear specialists in my area.

Seriously, Galileo is a dream come true and super easy to use (even for a super non-techy person like me). All the dread I used to experience when I needed to deal with a medical issue I’d gone. They’re fast and kind and make my life all-together easier :) 10/10 would recommend!

2020 has been a struggle and had come with various health challenges as well. this app has been here to make my life a little easier. They deal with my two common and persistent issues, migraines and acid reflux. The doctors are nice. They respond pretty fast and are happy to answer any questions you have. A couple of times the responses have been slow, but for the most part I’ve been overly impressed by this app’s Team. If I would have received all of this same care the traditional way I would’ve spent $100 more dollars than I have. Galileo is truly a life saver

I just had a amazing experience with Galileo! I got signed up and asked my questions about my condition at around 8 am this morning and had my prescription sent to my pharmacy at around 9:30 and had it in hand by 11am. On a Saturday. There are going to be things beyond the scope of Galileo where I’ll have to see someone in person but I’ll definitely be using this for minor ailments now. Since covid, there has been a long wait to get appointments with my primary physician, so this is just fantastic. I'm just thrilled that I was able to get seen and get my medication within a few hours! Thank you!

Honestly an amazing easy to use app that’s worth every cent. College life in nyc along with the pandemic is already hectic and it’s super annoying to be in long wait doctor offices and have to call for simple things so this is an awesome change ! I tried other options telehealth options but they were 1- way too expensive and 2-didn’t have easy to use apps and just felt annoying to use. Galileo and service is very affordable monthly or yearly membership option and their providers are really easy to communicate with. I really love how helpful they’ve been and truly appreciate the service ! They also always send your prescriptions on time !

Galileo is an incredible deal. Last time I checked it was $59 for a year, no insurance required. That is a small price to pay for having 24/7 access to actual doctors who you can consult about whatever might be bothering you. As a hypochondriac who’s also been dealing with a fair amount of health issues recently, I am constantly messaging them — and they are always exceptionally kind and thoroughly professional. They take my concerns seriously and work with me to find a solution. They are more than happy to prescribe medication if possible, which is extremely convenient since I have severe anxiety over doctors offices (and getting an appointment can be difficult and stressful). I can’t recommend this app enough. Thank you for dealing with me always getting anxious about my body!!!

I recently was diagnosed with severe depression and my therapist recommended I see a clinician to begin anti-depressant medication. My insurance isn’t covered close to where I live and I began to do online research and came across this app. I like Galileo because you don’t need to telehealth any doctors to get help- you simply just login and start a quick conversation over text with their doctors. Within two hours they responded back to me and within the end of the day my prescription was ready to be picked up at Walgreens. For $9 I subscribed to this app, spoke with a doctor about my symptoms and did multiple test over text, got my prescription, and have a two week follow up planned. No hidden fees, no insurance needed to get help. This is what our healthcare system needs to be like and I’m so grateful for Galileo because now I’m getting the help I need.

I saw one bad review and almost didn’t download Galileo. I decided to give it a try since I was in a panic about what was going on with me. It was quick and easy to set up. I didn’t like seeing at first a 3 month minimum subscription but soon after, decided I could just continue using it if something else unrelated came up. I work overnight and sleep during the day so I wasn’t sure about the wait times for conversation with a doctor, but everything Galileo says is true. With my experience you can still expect a response within about two hours, faster if it’s during regular Business hours it seems. Overall very happy with Galileo and was able to very quickly get a prescription once they were able to verify the problem I was having. Would definitely recommend and already have

I never write reviews. Ever. But Galileo is AMAZING. I struggle with depression and anxiety along with a long list of other medical issues. I just lost my insurance so I was desperate to find someone to refill my prescriptions that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg. I was losing hope until I found Galileo. I was able to be seen in just 2 days over video chat and the psychiatrist I saw was PHENOMENAL. He listened to everything I had to say, thoroughly explained any questions I had, and was genuinely interested in helping me. He listened to me and I could tell he really cared. I have had bad luck with finding doctors who will actually listen to my concerns, and it was refreshing to finally feel like I was heard. My prescriptions were filled the same night as my video chat appointment. For only $9 a month, it is WELL WORTH IT. Like I said, I rarely am blown away by any apps, but this is a literal miracle for me. I am so happy I found it.

I usually don’t write reviews but felt compelled to write one because my experience has been absolutely amazing. The world is pretty crazy right now and getting doctors appointments for medication refills has been a draining experience. this app has made it seamless, affordable, convenient, and painless. They answer all my questions thoroughly and check in throughout the month to ask how I am doing. The current process of going in to see a provider can get so difficult and confusing and am beyond grateful that this app is helping to combat that. I highly recommend using, you won’t be sorry.

Hi, I have a major problem you guys charge me 139 dollar this morning. We cleared it up that you would cancel it now you guys have charged me I’m going to call capital one and report you guys. I talk to you guys already and you said it was canceled. I am very upset and will report your app.

500 questions and at the end they will refer you to a doctor in person. The person who assisted me totally misdiagnosed me. How could you say I have something I for sure know I don’t have. Unbelievable!

Every zipcode I try says not available in my area. You could have collected more data before asking me that question :)

The this app Health team is super efficient and very helpful at anytime of the day. Galileo has helped me get the prescriptions I need for the last couple months. I definitely recommend using Galileo whether you need a prescription filled ASAP or you have specific questions about any health related issue. I honestly can’t wait to see this startup expand and grow!

Signed up recently and already used it twice for my prescription refills, takes some time for doctors to respond. Wish they had video visits instead of text, maybe something they should consider adding.

WOW! Galileo is truly game changing. Super quick and easy set up process. And saved me time and $$ by easily refilling my recurring prescription. So nice to have the confidence of a world class doctor in my pocket 24/7!!

honestly i was very hesitant, but they truely are helpful and care about your problems. and actually do help!!!!!

I’m generally healthy, just take one Rx, and just moved to a new city. Finding a new doc can be tough...enter this app! I messaged around 8pm and had an Rx renewal by midnight. And they did ask very thorough follow up questions as well, so I feel confident in the care they will provide for any other problems that might arise. The subscription is really a small price to pay for this level of convenience!

Setup was super easy. Prices for membership make sense, small price to pay for convenience. Especially when you factor in what it would cost for copay/deductibles/transportation.
I’m loving Galileo right now. Was able to renew my prescriptions in just a few hours, going back and forth in the chat.
I definitely recommend and would keep after the free trial ends!!!

Galileo has been an absolute blessing. I’ve had a myriad of health issues over the past couple years and the quality of care and the ability to chat with a doctor any time I want, 24/7 has been great. I also like that they actually follow up to see how I’m doing after giving me a care plan. Highly recommend!

Dont even use galileo health its not worth it.you will regret everything and waste your money .they are rude unprofessional and i had worst experience from them.alot of questions they ask,proof of records etc and at the end charge you alot what a joke.they cant meet your expectations look somwhere else bettet than this,the one will care for you and your needs and dont give you a hardtime like this.and add to that the app is not even good it is so complicated and just worst.

Dont waste your time or money! Contacted them for a antibiotics prescription and after the run around and hours later , I went to a nearby urgent care and got seen for a sinus and ear infection and was prescribed antibiotics and ear drops. The advise given would be free at your local pharmacy .
