No access to a paperless bill option. No ability to update email address within GRPayIt . Difficult to determine if balance is positive or negative.
I was surprised by an update that doesn’t even work, can’t load my accounts can’t see anything.
New update does not allow you to see your trash funds. When searching it said my “account is sufficient” they must have meant $0 as the tag on my trash can said no funds available now I have a full trash can and have to wait another week as I hope I added funds but can’t tell. Also it doesn’t connect my water account so I missed a payment which used to be on auto pay and had to pay an extra 10%. VERY not happy!
1. It thought I was trying to pay a handwritten ticket when I wasn’t, which made me have to go through more steps to finish.
2. I downloaded GRPayIt for iPhone, so WHY THE HECK couldn’t I pay the ticket with Apple Pay? SMH

Cancelled My Payment plan on the Day my bill is due, had I not saw the email falsifying that I cancelled it(Which I had not) at 3:44am, Of course A Shut Off notice would have been issued. So No to the No, GRPayIt NEEDS MORE Work.
I used to be able to see all my water, trash and tax balances right in the Home Screen. It was super user friendly and intuitive. Now if have to look up and reconnect my account each time and I can’t see any balances on the Home Screen.
Would be nice if I was allowed to utilize GRPayIt for what it was created for. I have tried more than twice to use GRPayIt to pay parking tickets and I keep getting the same response “something went wrong, try again later.”
If I could give it 0 stars, I would. I have to log in every time I want to use GRPayIt !!!!!!!!! And every time I do log in, it does not work on the first try !!!!!!! I have to exit and log in again. i’m so passionate about my hatred for GRPayIt I hate you gr pay it I hate you !!!!!
Water and trash accounts AND balances should be right in the homepage. I have to click through three different pages just to find my trash account balance and then another 4th page just to pay the balance. Needlessly complicated. Balances that I only pay once a month or so should be easier to see at a glance. I will say the new update does look nicer but it’s much less user friendly and should be much more simple since it’s just to pay city utilities.
Not sure what the update was except to forget my trash service info each time I log in. Also there is no balance info and no way to reload money for trash services that isn’t automatic. Dark patterns. Bad user experience.
I’m trying to pay my water bill and it will not log in....it just sits there thinking.
GRPayIt makes it easier to pay bills but not sure why it takes 2 days for a payment to be applied.
This needs to be checked for accessibility. Field names are almost totally illegible when using an iphone. Gave up, tried it on ipad. Not better. Neither saves the password under the name of this app - really? that's just lazy coding.
I appreciate the ease that GRPayIt provides in paying utilities, but I tend to have issues with the “bots” they have set up. Not sure what their purpose is, maybe to make people think they’re interacting with a human? Id prefer an option of buttons and text. I don’t need to chit chat with a robot. It’d be easier and faster and there would be no need for the chat screen, which has bugs when used on my iPhone.
In my opinion hiring developers to build iOS and Android apps for paying city water bills and parking tickets is a terrible use of taxpayer resources. However I will admit that GRPayIt /site are slick and easy to use, which is why I give it 3 stars instead of 1.
The ease of loading your trash account and paying online bills is great. However, the amount of reminder emails regarding needing to put money in the account is beyond excessive.
Intuitive and works well. Wish there was an iPad version too
Even though I used GRPayIt to pay a parking ticket it was the easiest app to use. I really like the two interaction instead of having to find my way around GRPayIt and go through many menus. Great job.

I have lived in several cities (including Chicago) and none of them have had such an easy solution to manage city utilities. As the chief bill-person of my family I really appreciate having a good web app experience and iOS app. Most other cities you still have to mail checks! Good work in GRPayIt , I’ve had no issues with it. Love the reminders and chat bot. Thank you for simplifying such an annoying task of adulthood.
