Storage Genie Status

A customer has a Samsung 9 phone and wants to use the app but when we get to the home screen it just spins and spins and spins and won't connect to the keypad. Is here phone too old??

Good afternoon. My name is Clay, I am with The Heights Self Storage. We are all set up to have the storage genie app up and running. A few coworkers and I have downloaded it and are attempting to utilize it with our phones. We are running into a few issues, however. First, no matter how close we get to either of our keypads we get, none of our phones are able to detect a nearby keypad (we see a greyed out circle that states “no accessible keypad nearby”). We have double checked to make sure Bluetooth was enabled, full permissions were given to the app, and we are even placing our phones right on top of the keypads. We don’t have many renters yet (our grand opening is Friday, July 1st) but the few we have also state they cant get the gates to open with their phones. The second issue we are encountering is the button for “payments” is not showing up on iphone and it isn’t working on android. If you tap the link, it just doesn’t do anything. We would like our tenants to be able to utilize this. What can we do to get these issues resolved. Thank you.
