Flight Tracker 24: Live Radar Reviews

I downloaded FlightTracker24 after reading the reviews and I wish I hadn't- it's terrible!!! It's extremely inaccurate and hard to use. Gave very little information as to the flight status and when it did it was hard to understand. First it said landed, then it was back in the air, then landed, then back in the air again, then I had no clue what happened to it! I'm going back to Flight Aware. Had that one on at the same time and it gave me all the information I needed!

Love FlightTracker24 and it’s accuracy. UI and notifications are clear and easy to understand. I just wish it would have more realistic flight maps instead of a straight line between the departing and arriving airports. Also with it could pick up on 4 different aircraft times (gate push back, takeoff, landing, and arrival at destination gate) and send alerts for each one in notifications. That would make this an EXCELLENT app!

As someone who travels a lot FlightTracker24 has been super valuable in figuring out the maze of flights, transfers and connections, delays, terminal changes, etc. It’s been valuable enough where I’ve felt like I’ve wanted to pay for it to support the team behind it. However every time I try to subscribe a bug prevents me from doing so. I’ll keep trying...

I was pleasantly surprised to find FlightTracker24. Unfortunately the airline I use isn’t great for getting timely updates out when there are delays and changes. FlightTracker24 is fantastic for getting me updated much faster than the airline.

I was cheering for FlightTracker24 when I bought the lifetime subscription. But I don’t like the way it is laid out. That plus the information it displayed was way off anything remotely correct.

Flightradar24 and PlaneFinder apps compared to FlightTracker24. All apps showed different altitude, speed, distance flown and distance left, and so on. FlightTracker24 was by far the worst.

For example, A plane (A320) was coming in for landing at my local airport. FlightTracker24 showed that the plane was at over 13,000 feet and traveling at a speed of 318 mph. Here is the problem, the plane was on the ILS and only 6 miles from the airport. How can it be that high and going that fast 6 miles out?

Of course, both of the other apps showed the plane closer to what would be normal that far from the airport and on the ILS.

I’ve tried other flight trackers that need babysitting (constant refreshing) or are flat out unintuitive. I love how I can add “my flights” for arrivals to my local airport and then get real-time updates throughout the day.

Flight Radar created the easiest tracking for anyone interested in up to the minute status on all commercial flights worldwide.

I have purchased full license for FlightTracker24 use to love it! Unfortunately FlightTracker24 is sometimes showing airplanes sometimes no data.. when you want to search airline it shows always like there is no single airplane in the sky of the specific airline. It needs update or work on it. Also want my money back since I bought full version app and it doesn’t work like advertised.

Where do I go to get back to my original setting

FlightTracker24 is useless unless you pay and they don’t honor their lifetime subscriptions. I paid for a lifetime subscription and they discontinued features that people like me paid for (offered a 3 month free trial in its place). Too bad a good product is compromised by a company that changed their apps to a subscription model and left their loyal customers with a diminished product or pay-up again.

Use it to track arriving flight that we are about to take when there is no onformation about a delay; also for a/c flying through line of sight during astrophotography sessions.

Really enjoy watching all of the different planes flying all around the planet. It’s fun & very helpful when heading to the airport.

I have a good neighbor, and enjoy seeing the aircraft in the pattern.
Now I can ID who’s up there. Always wondered about the traffic.
This is just for fun.

There’s just one problem I want better graphics and different versions of the aircraft

It provides a lot of useful information and it’s easy to use.

This used to be a great app. Now, when an airplane roars overhead, I pop open FlightTracker24 and it doesn’t show any trace of the plane, even though I can clearly see it overhead. Any claims of “real time” are simply false. It used to work but it’s pretty useless now. Too bad.

I I downloaded the latest version and see now setting for notifications like in the older version

If your an aviation “nerd”. You have to have FlightTracker24 on your phone !!

Fun and useful! My family travels a lot and its really helpful to track the status of their flights in real time. Especially useful when our family tracker is down from no cell service when in flight. Also fun to point at planes in sky as I often wonder/dream about all the cool places they might be heading. FlightTracker24 works great and does exactly what it says!

My family members fly a lot, and FlightTracker24 enables me to track their flights very accurately! I also have wondered where all those planes flying over my house were coming from and going to with FlightTracker24, now I know! Great job!

If you don't use FlightTracker24, you're missing out on something that can be a marvelous resource for flight tracking that is right at your fingertips!

FlightTracker24 allows me frequent checks on my flight's progress towards its destination. I probably check it more than I should, but FlightTracker24 is there so I can.

FlightTracker24 crashes about 45 seconds after opening several times. I like the style and it has potential. Besides fixing crashing issue, they need to have separate icons for the different planes as other flight tracker to do. Also too many planes have N/A for their flight status.

FlightTracker24 helps me quiet my kids on a long flight. They're always asking me when we'll get there, and instead of responding now I can just hand them my phone.

My family travel a lot and FlightTracker24 helps me to keep tracking of their flights so I know where exactly they are. Great information!

I love using FlightTracker24 during my flights. Often times in-flight statistics will not be given, so FlightTracker24 makes up for that lacking on the planes.
