myLidl needs some serious help. It always logs me out for no reason and then when I try to sign in again it never, not ever, remembers my password. So then I have to go through the entire forgot password ordeal just to be able to sign in. Every single time. It works fine one time and then signs me out again and forgets my password so I have to go through the entire process again. myLidl is horrible. There is no reason it should automatically sign me out and it should be able to remember a password. I know I enter my password correctly but myLidl won’t recognize it. Ever. Unless I do the change password process. It’s so irritating and frustrating. Especially when you are at the checkout and can’t use your coupons because this stupid app doesn’t ever work correctly.

While I was in checkout line at Lidl to check out, an employee came by and turned on aisle five and then also turned on aisle six for check out. He walked off then someone came to get on five but no one came to check out on six. Another employee walked by and said six was not opening but she could see the green light. Told us we would have to get in another line. This was a very dirty trick because both employees saw that the light was on and we had been standing there. We finally made it to the checkout in another line told the employee we thought that was a very dirty trick and he just blew it off. Very unprofessional service and quite frankly the prices are the same at Aldi’s.

Took five tries to get myLidl to work. There’s no way to upload receipts if you signed up and had a current receipt with you. I know I am trying to post this, and have tried a dozen usernames, but they are all taken, even though some of them are very obscure. Makes me doubt that they are truly taken. Perhaps myLidl is not excepting my review because I gave it one star? I will now try for the 13th time and hope for better luck. The number 13 did not work either. Let’s try for number 14. Nope. 15? I now know this is a giant scam. I type something in that no one else could have typed in and it still said the name is already taken. No way! I just picked a random word, “approach” and myLidl said that was already taken as a nickname. Some kind of scam going on here!

Religiously and LIDL has become my first stop for grocery shopping. I keep a fairly long shopping list and it acts as my “pantry” so I keep the items that I’ve checked off so I can find them in the future when I’m planning my shopping. A very frustrating design/functionality issue has to do when viewing the items in a list, specifically when attempting to view the details of an item. To do so, you’re supposed to click on the expansion “^” symbol at the right end of the name. However, if you don’t hit it exactly right, it assumes you’ve checked off the item and sends it to the bottom of the list with other checked items. You then have to navigate down to uncheck it so it appears back up again. Very frustrating!!

myLidl is simply not very intuitive. It was not clear that you had to click on the check mark at the top to view items after you select a sub category. Also you can’t add items from the weekly flyer when you’re viewing them in the flyer.
Sharing grocery lists doesn’t seem to work, you can’t delete a list once you’ve created it and you can’t email or text the list. If I’m somehow missing something and those features exist, then that’s another issue with the design.
Also, myLidl will crash sometimes when trying to add products to a list, just happened today when trying to add pecans and macadamia nuts which is what prompted me to write a review.

I’m new to myLidl but so far I like a lot of things about it. Two features I expected but didn’t see that would greatly improve myLidl for me:

(1) Be able to save recipes that I am buying ingredients for (ideally in myLidl itself). Since myLidl doesn’t offer this I tried using Pinterest, but myLidl doesn’t send over an image to Pinterest so when viewing your Pinterest board, you don’t see a picture of the recipe or even the name.

(2) Show ingredients and nutrition information for products so that shoppers can make informed decisions before heading to the store.

Aside from smart shopping features like shopping lists, etc, I want to use grocery store apps to shop for sales and specific items (items I need) and their prices. So far Lidl is doing well in their app with weekly specials, but if I search for a specific item to buy they do not display the price. Very frustrating! I am willing to drive past several other grocery stores to buy at Lidl, but not if I don’t know the price. Also, I like their bakery, but I cannot see any prices via myLidl for bakery nor which bakery items are on special for the day/week.
Until pricing is included more into myLidl , I’ll only be an occasional shopper.

myLidl is very helpful in allowing you to view the weekly sales paper as well as recipes. The function for creating grocery lists is also very useful. My one complaint with myLidl is the coupons. As you earn rewards, it is not always clear what items are/are not included on the coupon. Some rewards provide a list of items, and others will not, and it is not always clear which items can be purchased. If this were consistent, myLidl would be perfect!

I’m Petra Johnson and I shop a lot at Lidl, Fayetteville N.C. is were I shop. A couple of weeks ago I couldn’t find the Persil detergent and ask a manager if there was more in the back of the store, he assured me that there was no more and it was no more coming on. I was shopping for another 30 minutes and passed by the detergent isle again and there was the same manager putting out a lot more Persil. I did get some Persil but I’m very disappointed and lost trust in your management. I also purchase a lot of farmers bread and it would be so much better to have it cut. Will the bread cutter be running again? It would be nice. Thanks for your time and I’m waiting on your feedback.

I love how easy myLidl is to use! It’s nice to be able to see the weekly ad without going to a website. It’s also great to be able to look up foods and their prices to compare to other stores before I go out.

I really wish there was a way to add my purchase to my reward totals after shopping. I often forget to scan my app or enter my phone number at check out since I don’t get any additional sales or discounts with myLidl like I do at other retailers. It would be nice if there was a way to correct this after purchase so I can earn towards more coupons.

I stopped in the new lidil store while in northeast Phila I was amazed and delighted at the prices and value that I found.. I have joined the club down loaded myLidl and I have been back to shop there a few times when I’m in the area ..I am hoping that this store will open in my town soon so I don’t have to travel too far … this is my new favorite store to shop !! I’m very happy to have discovered your store. Most of my shopping was either at Walmart or Aldi’s. I was so impressed with Lidl’s that for grocery shopping that I no longer use either store for grocery items. Closing the Lexington,NC store causes an additional 12-mile drive to Thomasville,NC which could determine how long I’m willing to do this due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and “everyone” is sitting on the side lines watching. I’m not happy with my President and NATO countries watching the atrocities and saying we’re with you. Hello!!!! Depending on the outcome, I may give up on German companies. After seeing what happened after WW2,Russia is on a mission to “reclaim” their lost countries.
I need to be honest with you regarding my concern as to why I would be willing to give up my present like of your goods,store cleanliness and the employees who have always been very helpful.

It’s a cool app and it ends there.
To add 2 or more of the same item, you’d have to keep on adding to a list repeatedly. There’s no way to add once and increase the quantity with a simple + sign.
What’s the essence of having a long list of items in an app that can’t calculate the cost for you? myLidl should be able to do this.
For some reason my $5 discount isn’t working. I’ve ticked ‘apply to next purchase’, bought more than the required amount, entered phone number.

ThisLocation has the most friendly staff! Whenever I have to ask for a product not only do they tell me where it is they actually walk me to that exact spot. Even when I say oh I’ll find it…. They still take the time to walk me to the product. This store also hands-down has the freshest meat! I have never once found anything out of date at this location. That has not always been true of other stores I visit. The store is always very very clean. The shelves are always fully stocked or in the process of being fully stocked. WhoeverIs running this location is doing an outstanding job. This has been my primary location to grocery shop for the last year or more! It is definitely not the closest grocery store that I pass no less than five other grocery stores on my way to this little location. Hands down my store!

I Love everything about lidl..
the choices, the prices, their very own brands that are so delicious from ice-creams to lots of vegan choices… delicious frozen pizzas and new stuff every week. Also to top it off the staff at the registers AND working in the aisles are so so friendly and welcoming. Oh and the fresh bread….OMG love it ! my fave is the rosemary olive oil loaf .😋anyway i promise you’ll love it!
Happy shopping!! oh and the chicken cutlets are great and good prices ! i dont eat beef so i cant comment on that ! all kinds of nuts so reasonably prices and very good ! coffee…. i can go on and on ! oh and cheep beer prices !and good too!

I wish you all would bring items that you see over in the little stores in Europe my son and I enjoy visiting the stores in Europe in our travels when you first opened up your store you used to have more items that you could say oh I saw this over there but now it seems to be disappearing and it’s kind of disappointing I know you can’t have everything over here but I would just like to see somethings come back thank you and I do enjoy going to the little stores here in Virginia

I love the ease of myLidl and the great deals that are consistently offered every week. One of my favorite features is the this app game, it’s easy to see how much more I need to shop in order to get my reward. It’s very efficient (and exciting!) I check in every week to read the explanations of featured products and specials... one time, the description of the bacon sounded so tasty it made me go out and buy some as soon as I read it! The grocery list feature is great and searching for items to add to my list is a breeze. Lidl always surprises me with super cool and yummy looking products whenever I log in. I love Lidl and I love myLidl!!

I work off my app list when I shop for all stores I visit. I don't even go to the store unless I have created a list beforehand. myLidl is informative but I find it pretty useless for creating a shopping list. You really have to dig to find the item and add it to your list. Why can't I just touch the image on the weekly ad and have it added to my list like the Publix app? Please make the user experience more streamlined and self evident. I should not have to click/tap more than 2x to add something to my list; and not tap 10x to even find the item - frustrating.

My family and friends all go here for the products, customer service as well as the environment! Wish they would all carry the same products. But hey it keeps it interesting and I’m a huge shopper and fan of almost all of the products and brands. My kids eat lots of cereal and wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the brand and y’all’s! I’m a huge fan of the deli and fresh products as well as the huge selection of products in stock. Might I add the adult beverages :) haha. I’d recommend this establishment to all my friends and family. This store almost has all kinds of goods for the holidays as well as sales! Always check them out!

Me and my wife shopping at your store, what I would like to say is... you have great product , great service and great price too, I wish you had more stores around Manassa City, you are not that far from me, but the problem is...am I capable of driving down to your store?
I am disabled person sometimes my feet and my hands cramping and stiff, I need a Neck and back surgery... and one more thing to the people who is selfish, be thankful, accept what you have and don’t ask a lot of questions and understand this, we are in a situation that no one can Fix it , That person is our God only, Do to this COVID -19 we can not reverse the time to change or bring it back the way it was before and be thankful that you get your groceries and you have food, just think about it for a Second, think about the people who don’t have money, food and shelter... what are they doing right now this minute... we are all human we should help one another and our Neighbors ,
Please don’t complain, wear your Mask and your Gloves be safe protect your family , your friends and your self. Living and being a life. Life is the most important thing... COVID-19 KILLED A LOT OF PEOPLE .

I got myLidl when it first came out, and loved the savings. The first month that I spent $150, I got a $10 off of a $40 purchase digital coupon. The second month, $20 off $100. Then Lidl got cheap, now it’s 15% off cheese or 30% off personal care. What? Spend $150 and get “rewarded” with less than 1% if what I spent. They also used to have digital coupons for specific items, and those have disappeared as well. So, other than using it for making a grocery list, what’s the point? Stop calling it rewards because that’s just a falsehood.

I have been trying to find a way on myLidl to give feedback and ask questions and they don’t provide any access. I had been spending a lot of money buying the aged beef as well as other meat products that I felt were a good quality. The Rock Hill SC store no longer carries aged beef and the quality of their meat is very poor. Chuck Roasts the size of a small steak does not meet many family needs. Also the specials advertised for a specific day don’t seem to arrive at the store, this makes it difficult to plan ahead. I am finding that I am doing my shopping elsewhere since I can’t get the meats needed for a week’s meals at one place.

myLidl drives me crazy. There is no way to see a sale paper and see all items on sale. You must click through each section and a few items repeat. You must create a list each time you want to put something on a list & then choose it- extra annoying step. The coupons, which were the main reason so get myLidl , are in a section off the homepage and not listed with all other “section selections “ like fitness, tools, weekend special, sale items, decor, etc... Too much to go through, when the sale paper is laid out easily! Please make this more user friendly.

As a long time Lidl shopper both in Europe & USA i was thrilled when the 1st one opened down the street. Saw myLidl promo at checkout and had great hope for it... many features could be added like:
-being able to scan previous receipts so you’d know my prefs & purchases
-in settings for my food prefs you don’t even ask what i WANT to hear about, just intolerances etc!
- why cant we add our receipt COUPONS AS WELL as they are better than the ones in myLidl

It seems like since you have the SCAN built into app that developers could easily add these features.

I’m a little disappointed as I expected much more.
Its a good START but that’s all.

PS I TOO AGREE WITH PREV REVIEWS WONDERING “Where are the prices?!” You have my store set in app and I use many shopping apps. NEVER HAVE I SEEN ONE THAT DIDNT HAVE WEEKLY PRICES IN IT!
That’s crazy snd seems lazy on part of developers.

Used this the first time today. Could get into myLidl . Requested a new or reset my password took almost 10-15 to get a response from those people. Wasn’t able to use it at checkout. So the clock is ticking for the benefits.

myLidl is not what I’d call ergonomic. Doesn’t provide the products’ price. The apps a weak sister. Disappointing!

Not certain I’ll bother with this ...heck I’m not actually sure why I took the time to even write this comment. That said, y’all I will continue to shop at LIDL.

I shop Lidl frequently and more than once I have been charged full price for sale items. Just tonight I bought the panettone bread buy one get one free and I was charged full price on both. Unfortunately I’m bagging my items as the cashier is scanning the items and I don’t notice until I get home and check my receipt. Pay attention to your sale items and bag later, I will from now on. Evidently sale prices are not always in the system.

I love LIDL and myLidl is pretty good for viewing weekly sales flyers, choosing available coupons, and scanning at checkout. I agree with many of the things already said - search not very usable, can’t find a way to delete old lists, weekly ads can be glitchy to view (sometimes won’t show up), rewards have yet to work for me, etc.

myLidl is quite easy to use. Any coupons are automatically added and you earn extra discounts for shopping three times a month and spending $150 or more. Some are one time use and some are multiple use. It would be nice to know that beforehand. Also missing a ‘total’ savings feature in myLidl . It would be great to keep track how much one saves over the course of a year for example. I also love that I can check upcoming specials through myLidl and plan my shopping accordingly.

The Lidl app is good, but having the ability to re-arrange the list order and have it remember that order as items and checked off and restored back to the list for recurring groceries is a much needed feature. Having the ability to sort the list into the order of the store layout would make it easy to go through the list in the store in a sequential manner.

This is an amazing application that does more than increase savings. It has recipes and shopping features that save tons of time and money!! I love the recipes menu which list ingredients that can be added to a shopping list with one tap! The shopping lists can be saved/updated and shared by household members too! As another reviewer mentioned the “lidl games” are fantastic! You can earn up to 2 rewards a month-this month I received both rewards: 30% off beverages and 20% off vegetables and fruit (which I used for a salad bar luncheon at work). My all time fave is the “specials” tab, one press and it displays options to view current and upcoming specials (these items include things like sewing machines, bread makers, air loungers, trendy clothing, etc.). I literally live for Wednesday’s (when Lidl updates the “specials” list). If you are a Lidl lover but don’t have myLidl you’re totally missing out!!!
