One of the things I liked about Fancy is that is was always able to catch up on what had been added for the day. I don’t have the time or interest to try to figure that out in the new interface. In the “Feed” view, every time I pull down to refresh, the list changes. And “Explore” does not seem to offer a way to list the items in a chronological order. I am also not interested in having to look at little tiles to see all the items when scrolling through them before did the job just fine.

Hopefully, I am missing something obvious that will provide the same experience as before but I’m not interested in spending 30 minutes to figure that out.

Too many companies’ motto seems to be “if it ain’t broken, let’s fix it!”.

I’ve been using the original this app app for YEARS since 2014, and I see that they completely redesigned Fancy . I think the whole layout is horrible, and they lost many, many, many loyal customers. I loved how you could see the individuality in each store and vendor, and now everyone looks the same. I’ve told sooo many people about Fancy, and unfortunately I won’t tell anymore people. Also, it feels like a spit in the face when you don’t even transfers everyone’s likes and information over. I have to start ALL OVER just because you want to change your app. Will not use anymore simple and plain…

I specifically used Fancy around the holidays to curate a shopping list for myself and others. The old apps design was 1 million times more user friendly than this new one. The products and photos used to be visually interesting and an endless feed would keep you scrolling for days. Now everything has white backgrounds and I feel as if I’m shopping on Instacart. As a professional UX designer this truly saddens me.

The unique one of kind products have also vanished and have been replaced with random female only fashion goods. What on earth happened to this company!!!

I spent over $2k on Fancy. The products are of good quality. Yet, no customer service and it’s a bit of a rip-off as I paid a ridiculous shipping fees. It didn’t stop there, the shipping companies they assigned made me pay the tax when the products arrived. Having said that, I spent on shipping more than what the product costs. Why don’t you guys download fashion apps like Farfetch and learn from them. Also would be great if you hire a customer service team.

This is a great app if you are looking a unique product or a new “spin” on just about everything sold here. I really like the layout and the ease of buying on here. I am so happy I found this app! It’s one of my favorite apps! I call it the anti-Amazon experience! Way to go developers and creators you’ve got a winner here!

Always find lots of cool things to check out!

I recently moved into a new apartment and really wanted to develop a style of my own. The options on this app were great and many of the art pieces I found resonated with important memories from my past. Though at times a bit expensive, I thoroughly enjoyed using this to furnish my apartment.

Do NOT use Fancy for shopping for ANYTHING. Most of the seller’s product information and the descriptions of their merchandise is misleading and the items are very cheap and extremely disappointing. Many of the stores and retailers featured in Fancy are actually undisclosed Chinese retailers, and their items take 2 - 3 weeks AT LEAST for delivery AFTER shipping.
If you are expecting anything worthwhile from this bogus app, LOOK ELSEWHERE. This is one of the WORST shopping apps I have ever experienced. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.

Everyday there were new items posted up and now I look at my saved items and a lot of them no longer list the seller or the virtual store. There are only about 5 categories and the items are the same I’ve checked back one month to another and I never see new items.
Sad that Fancy headed down the drain

Redesign? You made the experience worse than what it was. Your previous branding is what made your experience special. You went from a fresh, youthful, contemporary style to a wannabe horrible modern farm house vibe. Horrendous. Instead of moving the experience forward you got caught in a dying trend and the execution is poor. Don’t fix what isn’t broken.

This was one of my favorite apps, screen time reported 47% of my time was on this app. Then the update happened and Fancy I loved is gone forever. All my liked stuff, gone. I’ve used this app for years and now it’s all just… gone. Deleting Fancy and not looking back. If I wanted an ordinary shopping catalog I’d just pick up a magazine.

Watch out before you buy.
Articles have limited or no return policy and are sent without return stickers. this app takes no accountability and point out to the merchants. Most of times you need to pay for the return shipment.

This used to be one of my favorite apps. It was gender neutral and had an easy manage feed/explore page. Now I feel like this is an app for chicks & makes me think of anthropology or something less modern than the products I used to see. Unfortunate.

I don't know what happened with this recent update, but everything I saved in my library is completely gone. Hours upon hours of researching stuff I wanted to buy just wiped away. Uninstalling and not looking back. Shame because this used to be a very good app.

This new update and changes to their store….what can I say, other than I do not like it. Not many options as they had before their rebranding. I got one will no longer use Fancy and will delete. I do not recommend due to very limited options.

The this app app offers gifts that are unique, unexpected, unabashed and guaranteed to please. It’s impossible to not find a gift for everyone you know.

Fancy is awesome for finding random cool gifts for people for holidays - and stuff for yourself as well. It’s my nightly app to flip through

You can find so many cool ideas for gifts from mom and pop shops or artist.

The way this app was previously was much better. This version is horrendous! It’s difficult to navigate and not nearly as intuitive. Please go back to the old version. Going to delete for now and hope the redesign gets redesigned.

Unique that can be found in other places through Google for lower prices

Really like Fancy! The quality and innovativeness of Fancy is great for anyone seeking the luxurious lifestyle, or is already living it! Gives me hope someday lol. Love it!👏🏾👏🏾

It is a good concept; really luxurious product except when I used the web app awhile back my experience was a lot better. Many more products were available to see.

I used Fancy and searches for tables; what popped up were only things not related to my search. What a failure!

Having Fancy opened me up to a whole new world of artsy things. It’s pretty cool.

Completely agree with the previous review. It was fun to see what was added each day. Now there’s nothing to look forward to. Do less, this app.

I ordered a phone case a month ago and the “order is being processed” ... I’m so upset because this was my first purchase. I even messaged the company and nothing back yet. I’m active duty military and will be bringing this up to my legal office soon
