Video Republic - Video Editor Reviews

I’ve been at it for over 2 hours now and still can’t figure out some of the kinks! For one, I’m trying to add audio, and for 90% of the songs I choose, it says, “error! Try again later!” Well.. no.. I should be able to do it now! How is waiting until a later time going to fix the problem? Also, I still haven’t figured out how to add photos in.. it’s just way too confusing and I feel like it shouldn’t be that hard to make a 3 minute video with different clips and pictures with audio to go along with it

I lobe it there’s sound and you can add lots of effects unlike other editing app you have around 5 effects and the rest you have to pay for but on this you have lots of options it’s amazing

I spent four dollars on the premium version of VideoRepublic, expecting to remove ads and watermarks, plus 2 more dollars worth of goodies. It didn't happen, and I want my money back. They stole 4 dollars from me by using the word 'Premium' but providing no details at all of what that meant.
Searching for VideoRepublic again on VideoRepublic Store -- "video editor"--- I found VideoRepublic Splice from GoPro, a reputable company. Use that app instead. Save yourself the hassle.

I bought VideoRepublic thinking it would be so you could upload an intro from the other app and when I tried to add music Because it would not let me use the one I made I tried to remake it to have a glitch happen with the music it played two different sounds and would not let me delete\edit anything

It also tried to make me buy something every time I did something witch isn’t normal because it wasn’t an ad

If I can't export projects no matter what else is right with VideoRepublic doesn't matter. As it stands, I want my money back bc of this impaired functionality. I paid for premium plus the two 99 cents. I may contact Apple.

Is VideoRepublic fully functional with iOS 10.1 ?!

Also, the Facebook export should be to post to your timeline like anywhere else; not having to pick out friends to invite.

VideoRepublic is continually crashing while I’m trying to edit my video! I’ve been at it literally 9 hours for a 2 minute 35 second video and all I’m doing is adding TEXT 😤. I even paid for the UPDATE thinking it would help speed up the process and NOPE... Total rip-off!!!!! I now have to download a better app, and start all over. I’ve already missed my deadline smh

Some of the comments are negative, I'll give VideoRepublic a go at it and give it a later review after I evaluate it a bit.

I usually use three video editing apps but since I downloaded this one it's the only one I use

Best editor I've used in a while. It has everything you need but it's simple to use. Definitely recommend!

I like the fact that I can download and play videos at a later time. Very good player

I found VideoRepublic much easer to use than some of the more "main stream" video editing apps. Great app!!

VideoRepublic was good except for the water mark and the cutting and editing options it was sort of difficult to crop and edit

I am giving this a 3 star rating. Cause, for one, this isn’t the best and well made app. It’s too confusing and I have been at it for at least 2 1/2 bourse and still can’t figure anything out.

VideoRepublic is amazing and is very useful. A great solution for not having enough money to purchase a professional video editor.

The UI is pleasant looking. Overall VideoRepublic was easy to figure out and worth the price of free.

I like the feature to add subtitles. Very easy to use and is all in one block at the end , it doesn’t take space in the editing and age

I spent 3 hours editing a school project just for it to immediately crash every time I open VideoRepublic . Spent 4$ on the premium and VideoRepublic won’t even open nor did the premium even do anything different. Now I have to redo the whole project that’s due in a few hours. Thanks so much for nothing...

I found it hard to edit and when I clicked effects it didn’t save!

It's easy to edit videos and the only video editing app I use!

I love it now, but I prefer the other features where I could write texts on different segments of my videos!
