Should have paid attention to the reviews

I read a few bad reviews and thought “oh I’m sure it’s not bad, c’mon” – honestly this is probably a fine app if you just use the free version for reminding yourself to text at a certain time. I’m disappointed because it doesn’t tell you until after you sign up for their paid service that the number it texts from might be a random number and not yours. I definitely get the limitations in technology/the law, and I only wasted $3.49, so it’s not a huge deal. But I think they could have made that super crucial detail much more forthright in the design / description.

Other feedback:
- the contact search seems to be pretty literal, but I imagine a full text search for names would be much more usable
- I this app a text for a minute from now, and it seemingly didn’t go out a minute later. It probably isn’t super exact but that + the other pieces damaged my trust a bit

Requires access to too much pvt info

Doesn’t actually send text automatically at a certain time. Only reminds you to send text. That’s what Siri and the built in reminder app already does. Also, Scheduled requires all kind of access to your private info, and then uses Mixpanel!!!. It requires access to your entire contact list.
To me, it seems easy enough to design app to just dial in the phone number manually. Yet it only works with complete access to your entire contact list. And then it uses Mixpanel to track all your activity. Sorry. Don’t trust it. If it only reminds you to send a message, then why would it need access to all my contact’s private phone numbers, address, emails address, birthdays and other private information and uses Mixpanel to collect all data like OS, IP, Location, Access times, Every website visited and Every interaction on device. Heck. It even tracks all your clicks.
So All that information is required to simply remind you to text somebody?

Scheduled App

Scheduled is eligible to send the text automatically when “this app” with proper date and time which I like. The downside is Scheduled does not show my personal # as sender with the purchase of the premium subscription which is not good for who I am texting. They don’t recognize the message hence not professional for mass text and response for my business. Customer service team is very responsive and from what I have read they have made some improvements to Scheduled over the years. I would have kept my subscription had my personal number shown instead of a random number. Granted I am able to put a signature at the bottom of the message it is still not efficient for what I need. The $10 business plan is also not an option. I will just set reminders in my phone to send text and save myself $3.50 per month for the premium subscription.

Subscription is misleading

I emailed back and forth with this developer and still can't get a straight answer how much it costs to send more than 5 msgs per month, a limit they weren't even disclosing until people started complaining. Now they say in their responses to other reviews that the charges are due to using an outside service to auto send SMS msgs, which raises other questions about privacy, security, and if msgs will appear to come from my number or not? ( Scheduled is useless to me if my recipients get my SMS from a number other than mine. I don't mind paying them for a service that works well, but their evasiveness raises red flags. They should also dump the monthly subscription in favor of selling 5, 10, or 30 packs of msgs that you can use at your own pace. I agree with other reviewers that said these guys appear to be greedy. It's a shame because I've been waiting for an iOS auto send app for years.

Not what it seems to be

Many look at Scheduled and see a way to send messages from their number and device in a situation when they themselves would be unable to send a message. In that kind of situation, it is important to appear authentic and credible. However, what Scheduled does not disclose in any form is that it sends a message from a random number that is not yours. The free version of Scheduled does not even allow this feature, it only lets you set an alarm/reminder to send the text. However, it does offer you the ability to purchase the auto send feature which then sends it from the sketchy random number. What’s the point of Scheduled when you already have an alarm and reminder functions built into your phone and when there’s free online services that offer the “send a this app message from a sketchy number” function?

App Won’t Let Me Enter Info

I just purchased Scheduled so I could automatically send a “Merry Christmas” text to our family. I created the group, created the text, and this app it. Whenever I attempt to go back in to verify it’s this app, Scheduled will NOT let me past this “Premium Subscription” info screen that asks for my first and last name and my email address - I’ve entered my info but the “save” button remains grayed out, so I can’t hit save. If I close Scheduled and go back in, this stupid screen pops up and won’t let past it, as it still won’t let me save the info it’s asking for. I even rebooted my phone. WTH. I guess I’ll just have to cross my fingers that the this app text will actually go through on Christmas. How am I supposed to use Scheduled if I can’t get past that info screen?!! Definitely an “angry elf” tonight.

Worse than bad

Scheduled in NOT what it is advertised to be. I bought it so that it would text my friend ‘happy birthday’ at midnight when I’LL be sleeping, but it immediately asked me to register for the premium subscription. It was just two dollars, so I agreed. But even after I signed up for the Premium it wouldn’t let me select ‘Auto-Send’ - even after I opened and closed Scheduled multiple times. Plus, the Auto-Send doesn’t even send from YOUR number. It sends from some random number that no one is going to be able to identify. Would you be pleased if a random person texted you at midnight on your birthday wishing you happy birthday? No. What is even the point of this function!! Do not waste your time or money on Scheduled. Immediately deleted after downloading and wasting $2.

Trash app

They only allow you to schedule a set number of texts per month. I subscribed and immediately realized it was a mistake. 10 this app texts per month? That’s it? What a ripoff.
Furthermore, when I did try to schedule a text, even after selecting which person from my contact list to send the this app text to, a message kept popping up that said I hadn’t selected a number.
To cancel, they also made it difficult. I had to actually find my subscription list on the Apple store. This worthless app’s “Cancel subscription” option does not actually send you to a screen where you cancel your subscription. All it does is send you to their support page where you can leave a message and they MIGHT get back to you.
Don’t waste your time with Scheduled.

Limited functionality with poor user interface

I upgraded to a paid version and am slightly unhappy with the results. The messages do send automatically at specified time although it doesn’t appear to come from your normal number which defeats the purpose, confuses recipients and looks like scam messages. Not what I thought.

However, this is not my biggest issue with Scheduled. The issue is when you try to cancel, you are lead to a “conversation” screen where you need to ask to cancel your subscription. I have not received a reply and have been unsuccessful at my attempts to cancel the subscription. This service is a scam, with the business plan of siphoning $3-$10 from users monthly. Don’t sign up because the trouble of canceling is not worth it.

Disappointed

I don’t usually do reviews when things are rough but with this one I think it’s important others know— I downloaded Scheduled to try. I don’t mind buying apps or subscribing and I do have some subscriptions to good apps. However, I tried using and it couldn’t send a this app text for free as a trial. So I said fine, subscribe. Well now just to send out my first this app text as a subscriber paying each month I have to enter in my First and Last name, and email. Upon entering all that, which I didn’t want to do because I didn’t need any more emails, it still wouldn’t let me proceed. As a result, I am very disappointed; it shouldn’t be this difficult for a paying subscriber since the whole point of paying is so I can use Scheduled with ease.

Finally, an app that Auto-sends Text msgs!

Ive used Scheduled to compose txts the night before and send about 10 auto-send txt msgs the next morning. And so far and it has been sending them out nicely! However it does send out the texts from a random number, but you can put in a detailed signature with your reply phone number for people to txt back your own phone number. I plan to keep using Scheduled unless something better shows up and I have already purchased more credits for more texts.

By

Totally Dysfunctional

(Note they fail to mention that a group text gets sent out as individual texts, eating up multiple of your limited text credits, this info is only mentioned in the FAQ). So- I Paid $3.50 to get the auto send feature only for 1. It to send the texts from a random phone number not my own. So when the recipients received it they didnt know who it was from. And 2. The next day it auto sent my message and tacked on “undefined” at the end of it. The recipient was further confused and asked what undefined meant and Scheduled autoreplied with the exact same text with “undefined” again (also using another credit). Deleting this immediately and requesting my money back. Too good to be true.

Best app ever

Honestly I do not send messages that well and when I do it is not on time or the message seems rushed or delayed
What seems to happen is people think I’m sending some thing that I am not and without time to clearly think over what I am about to send and without time to clearly use Scheduled to help me my messages are as clear as mud so Scheduled really helped when it came to getting a message out on time and with a proper amount of explanation

Don’t waste your time with this App

Looks like Scheduled is for people who send this app messages frequently. I don’t even download if they disclose price of their plans in the description. I’m ready to pay money and buy Scheduled, not expecting free. But plans are based on monthly subscription based. Business plan is $4.99 per month, another plan is $1.99 per month. The free plan is useless, it won’t send messages automatically. For people who want to send very few messages a month, it is expensive. Do you want to pay $24 per year? If you send 24 this app messages, it will be a dollar per message.

App Developer,
Don’t waste our time, show your plan price in the description, so we don’t waste time downloading your app.

Subscription doesn’t work

Scheduled has the option to send a text at a certain time automatically if you purchase a 3+ dollar subscription. i had an important message I wanted to send at a certain time but didn’t want to wake up that early, so I bought the subscription. It showed that it would send at the time to my contact automatically but it didn’t and when I opened Scheduled again it said I had no texts planned to send. Total waist of my money, very misleading, and doesn’t appear to function correctly. I would not recommend trusting Scheduled , it was a very frustrating and bad experience. I canceled my subscription the very next day.

Honest Review!

Well, to start the customer service is excellent. They are on top of it. I shot a email late at night and early the next morning Morris got back with me. Super awesome and nice folk.

- Scheduled is organized and easy to navigate and use. Even gives a tutorial when you open it (I didn’t explore the extent of it but I’m sure I could have done more and figured more out if I had!)

- It does exactly what they designed it to do! Remind you to send texts and when you purchase the membership you get the option to schedule messages to be sent automatically.

- Again, customer service was excellent!

- Scheduled is pleasing to the eye, not too much going on where it’s overwhelming but enough to catch the eye with the designs and artwork

But to the Team: thank you for your help and effort towards Scheduled . You guys are great.

Wow! Life-changing App!

I run a small business and many times I think of things to tell my employees, or communicate with customers late at night but cannot bother my backend ladies with late night texts. Scheduled has been such a blessing for my business! I can throw together a message at 1am that I need to send at 9am the next morning. Otherwise I would have had to write it down or try and remember. Scheduled is incredible! I cannot say enough great things about it!

Horrible User Interface Bug

I bought the subscription, this app a text, then I get a prompt to give my name and email as a premium user. Upon entering these fields, the “save” option does not become available. There is no way out of this field collection box. Closing Scheduled does not get rid of it because it pops up on each new instance of opening Scheduled .

In summary, once you purchase a subscription, Scheduled is rendered useless by buggy UI.

I recommend not downloading Scheduled even if they fix this issue because this was just inconsiderate and lazy app testing and we should direct our money to more diligent and considerate developers.

By

DONT DO IT!

Terrible app. Downloaded so I could send texts automatically and stupidly bought the subscription which it prompts you to do before actually using Scheduled . Once I got to the verification step, I was unable to proceed because I never received the text and received a message saying my number was entered too many times. After wasting my time with customer support, who could t help in the slightest, I’ve decided this is the worst app and I will be requesting a refund. If you’re going to create an app, at least have technical support who knows how to fix a reoccurring issue instead of telling you to restart you phone. ITS 2020!! That’s step one morons!

Review Time

Simply based on the time it takes to respond to reviews, I rate this product sub-par.

The good news is that this company is leaving the door wide open for someone else to be the next Market leader in this (niche) industry.

Does DocuSign advertise? (Very low marketing budget!) Then how/why have you heard of them and furthermore, how/have you used their products?? I almost guarantee you have heard of them and maybe even used their product, despite their lack of advertising.
Why?
Because it works. Because they are the only viable product that consistently works in that niche. Sure, there are competitors, but DocuSign is well in front of the pack!

Sending delayed txt messages is quickly becoming as important as sending delayed emails.

Will this product be the answer for this particular niche?? Time will tell.
Today, they are not.

The best advertising money can buy is customer advocacy. If it works, it’ll be FB tomorrow. If it doesn’t work, it’ll be remembered like MySpace is remembered (not at all).

One Less Thing To Have To Remember

I love this app’s ability to let me offload some of the things that are on my mind. It unburdens you, which is worth a tremendous amount. The auto-send feature is not for me because of the SMS not being sent from my own number, yet it was worth exploring for $1.99. The one feature on my wishlist for now would be full iPhone X support. Hopefully that and many other features will be on the horizon.

By

A great thought but only works part way

I am used to the Samsung where u can write and schedule a message for any future delivery and it will send Scheduled . So u write it schedule the date/time. and forget about it. This works great if u are up late or early or on a different time zone and don't want to bother someone. Also, on a Samsung if u start a message and can't finish it right away it will save it as a draft until u get back to it or cancel it. This iPhone schedule app only lets u type the note and hold it in Scheduled . It sits there holding the text until u remember to go back in and send.

Great in theory, main feature costs $$$

I wanted something to send to my girlfriend every morning, but Scheduled will only remind you, which sori and reminders app can already do. The main feature, auto send, cosmos a monthly fee, plus a credit each time? Never would have installed it had I known. Great in theory, but a monthly fee, plus credit each time? Yeah....no.

Misleading

1 star because Scheduled does not work like it implies. Messages are not sent from your number, instead they are sent through another server and appear on the recipient’s phone as a number they won’t recognize. Nowhere in Scheduled description does it say this will happen.
Also if I’m paying a monthly subscription for premium, why do I have a 5 auto-send message limit per month? Isn’t the whole point of paying for premium so that you don’t have to keep track of reaching limits like this?
Scheduled is designed well, but the deceptive app description and dumb premium limits are enough to give it 1 star.
