NO! NO! NO! NO!

This Route4Me Route Planner App is NOT as convenient as you’d think Based on the rave reviews, I had high hopes for Route4MeRoutePlanner in helping me be efficient in getting my sometimes very long list of errands completed in a timely fashion, without backtracking the same streets I already traveled. Unfortunately Route4MeRoutePlanner is not to be trusted. Right off the bat, when I typed in my first destination to the Wells Fargo bank two minutes from me, I learned that Route4MeRoutePlanner is unreliable. Route4MeRoutePlanner suggested Wells Fargo bank locations that are WAY FAR from me, like a different city, and it even listed a few that are two States away from me!!! It completely fails to list the Wells Fargo branches that I KNOW are within walking distance. I just cannot make sense of this!! So I played around with Route4MeRoutePlanner thinking it must be a fluke, some kind of random glitch, but sadly it continues to happen, making the entire purpose of Route4MeRoutePlanner (to be an efficient commuter) completely useless.

Not only is the above mentioned a huge disappointment, but there are additional flaws I’ve encountered using Route4MeRoutePlanner , such as not being user friendly when wanting to make changes to a route.

The creators of Route4MeRoutePlanner make it WAY MORE DIFFICULT than it needs to be. It should be super simple, but it’s a pain instead. I truly don’t get all the fabulous reviews. I ended up deleted it.

Excellent routing app with everything I need and to successful plan my route.

I’m a part-time and seasonal driver for a major logistics company. Route4Me is hands down the very best, app based software for complex delivery routing. Love the routing options including round trip, lock last destination and end anywhere. So useful depending your specific needs for the day. Route4MeRoutePlanner also offers shortest time optimization even with traffic. Love that there are note fields too so I can include my company specific based sorting numbers. Sorting also gives me the ability to optimally pre-load my packages. Thank you for a great app!!! It’s the very best in class. I have some great ideas about taking Route4MeRoutePlanner to new levels and major account markets. Hire me after Christmas! 😀

“10 Free” routes is misleading

I haven’t moved from my location in the five minutes since I downloaded Route4MeRoutePlanner and I’m still trying to set up my first route, yet 8 of my 10 “free” routes for the month have already been used. ?????? Come on! I’m just trying to figure the best way to set the final destination for my hectic schedule through your interface! And I’m pretty certain the route I’m experimenting with at 5 am may change based on traffic later in the day.

If Route4MeRoutePlanner works I would pay $10/month to use it for my kid’s carpools AND recommend it to everyone I know and post it to all the parenting info groups (carpooling chaos is no joke and parents will pay to make it easier!), but if you promise a free trial please give me a chance to use the route before you demand automatically recurring payments. I have been a GIS professional using mapping software for 20 years, so I know I’m not the only one who is going to have to tinker a bit to set up my first route.

Adding a “Go” button to lock in a route or using location services to see if I’ve moved before counting an edit as a route could make me a lot less angry about this. Or just charge me up front with no free trial, but right now I feel cheated.

Subscription issues

Although I enjoy using Route4MeRoutePlanner to route my orders daily, this is now the second month in a row that I’m having issues with the monthly subscription. The payment is showing that it has been deducted from my account, however, when I open the application Route4Me it is telling me that I need to renew my subscription and it has been four days now. There has not been a refund on my end. I have work that needs to be routed, but I am unable to. This is a problem do to the industry that I’m in and the amount of orders that I have to complete daily (30-40+ a day). At this rate, I can get behind and that can cause work to pile up. I am looking for other options to get the job done weather they’re free or paid, either way, if I’m being charged for to use a service, I expect that service to work. Especially if my money has already been paid.

Mail Carrier

I am a mail carrier who recently started this new job. I downloaded Route4MeRoutePlanner while I learn my new route and addresses. Prior to this newer update, Route4MeRoutePlanner was pretty good, but since the new update, it’s been more difficult. When I drive my route, it it policy to deliver always to the right. This means, I am supposed to make as few as possible left hand turns. Well, even though Route4MeRoutePlanner organizes the route for what ever address comes first (left or right side of the road), since the update, it now forces you to Skip any address you didn’t go to first, which causes you to have to go to each skipped address and manually unskip them. This is a time waister. Please change it back to the way it was before the update. At least I was able to choose which addresses I delivered to first, without having to skip and then unskip addresses.

Unexpected log-outs ; greedy price structure

Couple irritants: The phone app disconnects and requires login information be re-entered .. for no apparent reason, several times each week. Then login info has to be entered by hand. It does it allow the iPhone to re-call your login info, nor does it give an option to login via Face ID. When you are on the road, having to type in login info is something that I like to avoid. Considering Route4MeRoutePlanner is designed for people on the road, you’d think this issues would be a priority to resolve. Also, as a note, the pricing structure for the use of Route4MeRoutePlanner is very greedy. I am a one man business. There is no low level pricing structure that seems fair for the little-bit that I use Route4MeRoutePlanner . Route4MeRoutePlanner is good and does what it advertises ... but for a little guy, it is expensive. Along that same line, I have not downloaded the desktop version because of cost. Again, the pricing is greedy.

Good planner

I’ve only used this route planner. I’m a delivery driver and I like that I can put in little descriptions for the address. So instead of looking for a box with a number among boxes with numbers, I can look for a “small isagenix” or “medium home chef”. That’s much easier. Sometimes the route planner doesn’t place the house where it is, this happens very infrequently. If it does, it’s within 5-10 minutes of where I am. It does crash after inputting so many addresses but I just pick up where I left off. I just wish that instead of using a drag and drop system for arranging the route the way I want, I could just number them myself. It’s a pain to drag stop #80 to stop #1. To keep doing that over and over can take a few minutes. But it saves me time on the drive so whatever. Last update helped with battery life and overall app response time.

Way too much going on, not intuitive

A. There’s way too much going on on the screen. B. Route4MeRoutePlanner didn’t recognize that I had stopped at my stopovers, even though it directed me to them. There should be a way to check off a stop so it moves on, if it can’t recognize this. I had to delete each stop after I got there and tell it AGAIN to start from where I was. Once heading on the route, Route4MeRoutePlanner did pretty well. It was the starting again, each time after reaching a destination which was problematic. C. The voice would often tell you to turn without naming a street. She should name the street each time she tells you to turn. Route4MeRoutePlanner quickly found the addresses. That was good. D. There’s a button for plan, replan, reroute, start, restart. All way too confusing. E. But the worst thing was an ad for some morning service popped up twice and beeped loudly WHILE I WAS DRIVING. It was alarming and dangerous. Please remove THAT.

Good, could be better

I used Route4MeRoutePlanner for the first time to deliver about 50 packages at 45 different stops. I really like the optimization and the ability to mark each visits location.

Hers where it needs improvement. Navigation to stops is done through a different navigation app e.g. Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, etc., which can get irritating switching back and forth; turn by turn navigation through Route4MeRoutePlanner would be great. I use Google Maps for most things and when Route4MeRoutePlanner sends the stop to Google Maps it is sent as lat/long coordinates instead of the address which can be irritating. It would also be great if there was a feature to add multiple addresses on the same street instead of imputing the whole address for different numbers on the same street.

Overall it is a good app, just needs some fine tuning.

Does Not Work With iOS 11.3

After spending hours on the phone with both Route4Me and Apple tech support, it was confirmed by Apple that the update is not compatible with iOS 11.3. Route4Me isn’t aware of this issue probably because not slot of the users upgraded to iOS 11.3. Initially I opened a few trouble tickets but someone at Route4Me kept closing them out saying the issue was resolved when in fact they had no idea why Route4MeRoutePlanner wasn’t working on my phone. Apple had to erase everything from my phone and re install the iOS fresh before they could confirm 100% that the update wasn’t compatible with iOS 11.3. This happened on Friday afternoon and I am waiting to see when someone from Route4Me actually acknowledges this and takes care of the problem

Excellent app!!!!!

Route4MeRoutePlanner is Awesome! I’m a Pest Control Tech. and the hardest part of my career is mapping out a route which I’ve been doing manually this whole time with Mapquest. It takes hours to map a route myself then I have to call and try to schedule them in the time I would like which doesn’t always happen due to their availability. Then I would have to update the route manually again and continue. Route4MeRoutePlanner has automated all of that for me so I can just call and schedule with people and when they need a different time I just continue down the line with the next closest person!!!!! Route4MeRoutePlanner saves me hours every day! I’m not exaggerating!!!!! What use to take my 4-5 hours a day is now 45mins-1 hour!!!!! Thank you so much for Route4MeRoutePlanner!!!!!

Efficient and quick and easy

Route4MeRoutePlanner is the most important tool for me as a home Helath nurse when travelling to many homes during the day and needing an ETA between patients as easy in 1-2 minutes. Sometimes I get a new patient and I need to know to coordinate other patients and tell them when I would be there with respect to other existing patients. One for the greatest feature is the ability to navigate to address without punching it in again as easy as pushing a button on Route4MeRoutePlanner . I love it! Of course there is room for improvements, but even as of now it gets the job done very efficiently. I recommend it highly.

Nice app but very slow ...really too slow...@@

I used Route4MeRoutePlanner for about 2 yrs. and it was free and good to use. Then they changed the UI and also the policy so that free version is not really able to use due to long waiting time for every action. So I decided pay for it.. well.. Route4MeRoutePlanner still response very slow .. no matter what for entering the address or deleting the address.. the customer care team of the company asking me to delete the whole app and also to upgrade the iOS to latest version... Route4MeRoutePlanner hang very often and still very slow for each actions...properly because they link every action to back end server and the bandwidth or the performance of the server are poor.. so that client has to wait a little bit... very Pitt! I like Route4MeRoutePlanner and still using it but you have to tolerate the slow response (wait 30-40 sec for each actions...) :( really too~~~~~~~Slow~~~)

It’s a love hate relationship!

It’s a love hate relationship! It makes plowing snow a lot simpler! Very much worth the money for the full version. The updates they come up with generally make it more difficult and cumbersome, if I want to go out of order, I don’t need warnings and “skip” notifications, just let me mark off my stops without making me click all the extra buttons! Is Karen designing those warnings and skip features? Why would I want to “skip” all the stops before one I’m picking up out of order. Then I have to click unskip to bring those stops back. It’s super annoying. But, it has one feature the others don’t that keeps me paying for Route4MeRoutePlanner ; it allows me to quickly add stops from my contacts. Maybe I should give them 3 stars, but I’m too pi$$ed at how, unnecessarily, cumbersome Route4MeRoutePlanner is.

First Time

To whom it may concern I wanna reach out and say I had a great experience for the first time today with one 800 flowers I was asked to help them out and was asked to do a delivery of 27 I get to meet some really good people at the office same time as I delivered to some really great people who are very understanding especially the ones that received them late in the evening very understandable and very friendly it was a great day believe me not easy as everybody would probably think it is but after a couple times you can probably have a good read them down really enjoyed working for them as well as working with the team!!!

Well darn....

Wrote a nice, lengthy review... my "nickname" was taken, somehow that caused my review to disappear. To keep it short and sweet, so far, Route4MeRoutePlanner is PERFECT for me (about 20 stops per day/ different every day). I can track my notes, photos, even audio recordings that directly relate to each stop! I've got a couple questions to address with customer service, hoping to do so today!

***UPDATE*** I’ve used Route4MeRoutePlanner for nearly 1 year now. That’s resulted in an average of 32 miles per day driven, which is lower than ever before and it has saved nearly 220 miles per month! (I work for a municipality, and every dollar saved is great!) Route4Me is AWESOME!

10 Routes/Month? Yeah Right.

I don't plan routes for big things. I'm not a trucker/serviceperson who needs their routes optimized on the daily/weekly.

I *do* occasionally have the need to make several stops in a day, and use an optimizer to make sure I'm not wasting fuel nor time.

I downloaded this for that purpose. 9.99/mo is ridiculous for someone who may not even use this monthly. But I still figured that 10 routes/mo should really cover my needs.

I used Route4MeRoutePlanner once 6 weeks ago. (Note that is longer than 4 weeks/1 month)

I tried to use Route4MeRoutePlanner today, where Route4MeRoutePlanner refused to delete the previous route. The loading icon would spin and do nothing.

So I started a new route. Entered my POI and hit optimize. It did as asked. Realized I missed a POI so I added it to the route and reorganized (as the route was set with end-lock). Hit optimize. "You've run out of optimizations for the month! Pay us!"

I really want to like Route4MeRoutePlanner. The GUI and options for route planning are nice. But the free version is buggy and crippled by this issue. And the price is unjustifiable for my extremely minor use.

+ 1 star for GUI
+ 1 star for Routing Options
- 1 star for Expensive Price Points
- 2 star for Bugs
- 1 star for lack of POI support (named locations (aka "McDonalds" or "Six Flags" are hit or miss, usually miss)

Great concept, poor execution

The concept of Route4MeRoutePlanner is fantastic and would be a great service, if only the execution was better. Sadly, it’s poor at best. I see many outstanding reviews, so it may be the rural area that I live in, but with all of the satellite map data available that isn’t a good excuse. I was sent to the wrong driveway, sometimes even on the wrong side of the road, over half of the time. I double checked all of the addresses and every single one was correct, so that wasn’t the issue. While the wrong driveway may be an inconvenience in some areas, it’s a huge danger in the area which I was delivering. Pulling in at someone’s home unexpected in early morning hours in rural Tennessee is extremely unsafe, so this made what should have been a joyous morning of delivering Thanksgiving meal boxes an extremely stressful few hours.

Lovin it!

It’s easy to use and perfect for going to 3+ houses every day! The optimizing feature is a must, it saves drive time cause it routes from closest to furthest and tells the amount of time between each house and i really like that it allows me to use my Apple Maps or google map. Aaaaaand if you save address in your contacts, it makes it easy to find ppl and it will show their name where circuit and other apps does not let you name the stops. Plus you can make multiple routes and name them with days of the week or anything.

Learning the program

The program works flawless and very easy to use. If you can read a map you can use this program. Route4MeRoutePlanner has helped me travel for business across 5 states, day in and day out ( about 70,000 miles a year). I have yet to have an issue or problem finding an account. If you don't know how to read or input addresses this program won't work for you and you may want to get a paper map. Glad I have Route4MeRoutePlanner it has saved me hours and cut miles off my travels.

A DEFINITE TIME SAVER & MUST HAVE

This is an EXCELLENT Routing App. I thought I loved using "Multiplottr", until I started using "Route4Me". I have been using this now for a little over (2)+ years & have never needed to ask any questions on how to use it...user-friendly without a doubt!
It has saved me quite a bit of time when mapping/routing the daily estimate schedule for my Estimator, for an extremely busy tree service company. On a typical day, I am having to route between 15–20+ addresses, and without "Route4Me", I would be spending hours & hours mapping & routing, which in turn, takes me away from my other job duties I could be doing. I would highly recommend Route4MeRoutePlanner to anybody that is having to drive around the city looking for multiple addresses on a daily basis. I gotta say...this IS the BEST routing app out there!
The only negative thing I would have to say about Route4MeRoutePlanner is not being able to send the daily route via text message.

By

Almost perfect

Don’t get me wrong I love Route4MeRoutePlanner makes my job so much easier, price is very comparable, customer services is much better compared to the years before and it’s much easier to use since the update. My only complaint is the address search engine. It works but I would love for it to be able to work with my GPS to help narrow down addresses that are at least in my country preferably in my town. I would also love it to remember my more commonly entered addresses. One other small complaint is I don’t like it sharing my route every time I create one but other than that I give it four out of five stars

Won’t find street names on its own in app map!

Great app besides the fact that it won’t recognize street names on its own in app map, I waste a ton of time trying to input different street names to get it to recognize the location, I actually have to open google maps and get the longitude a latitude and copy and past, very frustrating when I bought Route4MeRoutePlanner to save time. Please fix this issue. Also if I try to pin a location on the in app map it wants to move the pin to the nearest address, the problem with that is not everyone using Route4MeRoutePlanner is looking for an address, I’m looking for job sites and cross streets, the only reason for pining a location is due to I’m looking for a specific location.

Please update and correct these issues.

The best routing app

I’ve been using Route4Me for about a year now and it’s the best app for deliveries. This last update is amazing. Route4MeRoutePlanner is a lot faster and I love being able to input the name of a business and it’ll find the address for me. I use Route4Me 5 days a week. One thing I wish I could do is limit the search area for addresses to my state only because when I enter an address and street name, I’ll get suggestions for addresses in other countries like France, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, etc. instead of an address that’s less than 10 miles from me. I’ll have to enter the address down to the city and state for it to show up.

Found some bugs, not working right for me

I tried to work with them, but the back & forth with customer support was “pull my hair out” frustrating. They would send me multi-point questions & diagnostics, none of which related to my issues ... & after 3 weeks of exhaustive detailed notes & screen shots, they simply said, “thanks, we will have our techs look at that.” ... & that was the end. They took my money & my detective work, and left me with an app that still didn’t work correctly.
I’m not happy with these guys.
So I tried inRoute tonight ... it’s 60% cheaper and has many features that Route for me does not.
In conclusion, app didn’t work correctly syncing between iPad & iPhone, customer support was not helpful, & there are better apps for cheaper subscriptions available.

Sales Route Planning

When the creator says “The Best Route Planner”, they speak the truth!! I have used various software and hardware applications to route Sales calls. Route4MeRoutePlanner beats all hands down! The apps strengths are address accuracy, address hunt speed, intelligent address completion, quick replanning sync, window access, navigation app sync, emailed planner to your inbox within seconds of route planning, address stops detail and not to mention beautiful eye pleasing app!!!

If your profession relies on successful customer contacts route planning, Look no further! Route4MeRoutePlanner is for you.

Good app to bad

Route4MeRoutePlanner was working well for me even though the continue logouts are annoying. In the last month, I have noticed issues with the amount of time to get to a location is wrong. I contacted customer service about them. First time, I was told they would let their development team know and to look out for an update. Today, I had an issue and they tried saying the time was different because I had two different starting points and because of traffic. Yes, I did have two different starting points on two different routes, but the second and third locations were the same on both routes. So how does one map say it will take 58 minutes and the other one 93 minutes. Route4MeRoutePlanner has some bugs and when my renewal is up I'm moving on from Route4MeRoutePlanner.

Great App but Expensive

I think this is a must have for someone like myself in medical sales. I have a large geographic territory and I have to do at least 15 calls a day. I need to cover a lot in my day and I don't like feeling like I am zigzagging all over the place. I love the fact that Route4MeRoutePlanner is compatible with Google Maps, Waze and other navigation apps. The note taking features and the ability to add pictures to each account is great! It's super easy to use but it's the most I've ever paid for a subscription.
