Summary of Gboard Problems 🔥

- The keyboard has occasional bugs, such as automatically switching to the default iOS English keyboard.

- The dark theme can make it difficult to read Google search results and use certain features, such as the :-) button.

- Typing too fast for more than 10 seconds can cause the keyboard to freeze.

- The auto-correct and word suggestions need improvement, as they can save ridiculous word choices and make irritating changes to common words like "since."

- The app does not allow for the selection of a primary keyboard that isn't American English, which can cause issues with certain game chats.

How to fix Gboard app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Gboard app on iPhone
Update Gboard app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Gboard iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Gboard on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Gboard network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Gboard Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Gboard not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Gboard App
1. On android, goto Settings » Gboard » click [Force Stop]

Update Gboard to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Gboard App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Gboard » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Gboard.

Fix Gboard unable to contact server/ Gboard internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Gboard » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Gboard » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Gboard
