Hik-Connect Status

As reported elsewhere, indicated a bug is present advised to clear cache. Now flashes for a second then disappears. Unistalled and reinstalled but no improvement.

getting error: "Hik-Connect closed because this app has a bug. Try updating after developer provides a fix" Uninstalled and reinstalled app with same results. Looks like many others are in the same boat, when will a fix be available?

Hi Since today the app flashes a white screen for a second and then closes on a Pixel phone. Tried to re-install does not help.

App crashes immediately after starting for milliseconds, tried restart tried uninstalli g and re install still doesnt work. Developers must take action ASAP.

Hik Connect App stopped working on Android. Tried uninstalling and re-installing I had armed the AX Pro before the app stopped working. Now cannot disarm the alarm even though Connect Pro App. Says failed to disarm.

Same issue, app won't start, immediately crashes/stops after start, Pixel 4a. I can only use HiLook with local connection, but only live view, playback, no notifications on alarms.

Since Saturday 06-Aug-22, the app seems to have stopped working. I cannot view my cameras on my mobile. it states 'The device network is unstable' the pictures are frozen at the last time they were viewed. it seems many people are having he same issue. it there any software update coming for this?

Hi I am having same issues as some other end users, brought a new phone Google pixel 6, running Android 12 was working for about a week then everytime I try viewing from the app keeps crashing. Tried deleting and redownloading but no success, anyone got any suggestions?

I suppose tge crash was introduced with play system update July 2022

Had changed my phone and everything moved across from old to new apart from hik-connect for some reason. Downloaded hik-connect to my new phone but after accepting my phone number and password, it wouldnt open up. I discovered that the app had loaded onto my sd card. I moved it to phone internal memory and it worked fine.

I updated my app I think that is the issue when I have a front line crossing it logs it as an event but it doesn’t take a photo of it anymore just a bell how can I sort this? Thanks

On my new IPad and New MacBook Pro I am only getting one camera on both machines yet all cameras on IPhones.

My hik app to see my cameras keeps closing as soon as I open it. Google pixel 5a with Android 13. Worked before.

Hik Connect app on my iPad has worked OK for some years, but it now freezes every few minutes - right facing triangular arrow appears and the picture will not move until the arrow is touched. The only change I have recently made is to update the iPad. My bank required the latest iPad program. No other app freezes.

The app freezes my iphone 12 i cant turn the phone off.

When opening app flash screen then app closes straight away. Closed and reopened app also rebooted phone, still the same.

Him Connect is working fine on my iPad. Unfortunately, on my android phone, the app is starting, but the camera footage is not loading. The “streaming” stops at about 87% and after a few seconds the message “connecting failed” appears. I have tried both basic and HD modes, and also Wi-Fi and 4/5G data. Still nothing. I have even deleted and reinstalled the app. No joy there either. But in the iPad, all is well. The android version I am using is Version V4.26.131 Build 210811 It was working a couple of days ago with no issue. Now it doesn’t.
