I really like PhotoWidget, if anyone were to want to make customized widgets, I would recommend PhotoWidget, but there are some problems with it. First off, in the latest update, they said they fixed a thing where you would se some sort of white line on the side of the photo, but it’s still there for me on some of my pictures. Also, I really hate the ads. I mean, who doesn’t hate ads? They’re kind of annoying, especially the ones where the ad goes into a full screen ad. Now I know why there are ads and why they might not want to get rid of them (Money), but I think that if they could do some premium thing or maybe they could make the ads, I don’t know, less obnoxious (I’m not sure what word I’m looking for but I think that’s sort of what I’m trying to portray) so that they would still get money. Other than that, I really like PhotoWidget!! Thanks for your time :D

I think it’s really good overall, it’s super easy and you can add so many photos. It’s really fun. Still, it has some problems. Whenever I set the interval to 1 minutes, it never changes during that 60 seconds, it takes a while for the photos to change when I set the interval to 1 minute. But other than that, this is the best photo widget app to use. I recommend you add a setting where the photos shuffle after it goes through all the photos because I’m starting to memorize which pictures come next and I never see some of the pictures I have during the day.

PhotoWidget is good, and i was really happy to finally FINALLY find such an app. But the problem is that you said that we should long press on PhotoWidget in the widgets so the albums will appear but it didn’t work. I long pressed and nothing happened. And when I try to add a widget from the photos that I added to the album, they select for me a photo from them, and I can’t choose one so this is really annoying. However, I am not really sure if this was a problem from PhotoWidget , or from my ipad. Anyways I really like PhotoWidget but please try to fix this issue if it was from PhotoWidget .

The premise is good, but PhotoWidget is buggy. You assign each widget to an album of photos that it will rotate through and set a refresh interval that determines how often it should display a new photo. However, it doesn’t seem to work, and will stay stuck on the same photo for days. When I open PhotoWidget to try to trigger a manual refresh, I’m barraged with full-screen ads that don’t always want to close. And even then, flipping through the photos in PhotoWidget doesn’t reliably change the photo displayed in the widget.

I’d recommend this only if you want each widget to display a single photo permanently and never change.

One thing is that when I make an album and add like 3 pictures then add the widget, it only shows the first one. The problem is that I have to make the picture I want to be first in that album which means if I accidentally delete the image from my camera roll then I can’t put it on the widget. I would hope this problem gets updated and fixed so in the near future I can just chose the photo I want instead of HAVING to always make it first in the album. Overall, it is good!

Already enjoyed PhotoWidget much more than the default apple widget and other photo widgets. I like how you can choose which photos you’d like to display and at what intervals, very nice!! I was hoping to be able to manually flip thru the pictures on my Home Screen, in a way similar to Smart Stack if that’s possible.

I love everything about PhotoWidget, its easy, simple, and doesnt require premium for the widgets. The only thing i would recommend changing is the time between picture switches. This would make it so you didnt have to wait a whole minute (at least) to see a new picture. But beside this, i love PhotoWidget . Keep up the great work!

I’ve been using this widget for a while now and it performs great, I’ve never had a problem. However, a feature that would make it much easier to use would be a syncing feature so that you could have the same albums between 2 devices like a phone and ipad.

PhotoWidget worked perfectly! I see in the reviews that after an iOS update there were difficulties but they must have been fixed. After total frustration with the Apple photo widget (Apple won’t let you choose photos) this was a joy to use!

I love PhotoWidget because you are able to choose what photos you would like to display and you can edit the intervals in which the photos change. The one issue I have is that some of the pictures are not HD and they are really pixelated even if the photo itself is HD. I am not sure why this happens and it’s very frustrating because the photo comes out so blurry I can’t enjoy seeing my pictures.

The only thing PhotoWidget allows the user to do is actually select the photos I want for the widget. That’s it, nothing else to add. I thought I’d at least be able to separate my widgets into different categories and chose which one I want per widget. This is sadly not the case, just a mediocre app that there are 10 others just like and have the same problems.

Also it’s so lovely for your consumer to see that there have been 58 reviews submitted for PhotoWidget , but only have two reviews that praise how good PhotoWidget accessible for viewing.

I think this is a great app that expands on the Apple photo widget. It allows you to create custom photo folders and add to multiple photo widgets.
I would love to see PhotoWidget expanded to allow different photo widgets to be created for backgrounds for clocks, calendars etc. even an ability to setup a transparent widgets as an app launcher.

I just got PhotoWidget because I’m getting a character themed phone and when I go to get the photo widget it doesn’t show PhotoWidget exists and when I go to my settings to see if that’s the problem it doesn’t show PhotoWidget there either I don’t know what’s going on but if others have had the same problem and you have an answer can you tell me how to fix this

PhotoWidget is pretty awesome. You can select a ton of photos from your camera roll and select the frequency of how often the photos rotate in the widget. Only reason I’m giving PhotoWidget 4 stars instead of 5 is because you can’t create different folders/albums to have multiple widgets with different photos at one time. Bummer.

You get to choose your photos, as well as how often they change. This makes it better than the built in photo widget, especially if you have a lot of lame photos you don’t really want to see.

PhotoWidget is simple and straight to the point. I love it. I was looking for the premium version with addition options that I most likely would have paid for (given perks/reasonability) but I don’t see one. Looking to see how this widget evolves.

The date of the photo shows up prominently on the photo. I like to use photos of objects to add to the aesthetic layout of my screen and this really takes away from it. Dates for pictures of fun events might not be bothersome but this really is. Other photo widgets don’t require the date. Perhaps make it a premium feature with the ability to toggle off and on? I would pay a nominal fee for that.

Love PhotoWidget — simple to use. Would love to see the ability to create different albums, and a shuffle/randomize photos option. As other reviews mentioned, even when interval is set to 1 minute, photo takes ages to change. Other than that, love PhotoWidget and ease of use.

I loved PhotoWidget so much because they had hundreds of awesome photos to chose from and now it looks like they got rid of that feature and I can only upload the photos from my photo gallery :( if they had that feature back I would love!!!

I saw that it was completely free because most apps like this are not but when I hold down on my home screen a + does not show up if anyone understands I don’t know if you can like comment on this but if anyone does understand please tell me how to use it because I was super excited to use PhotoWidget . I give this 3 1/2

I’m saying this because when i tried to add a different photo to my photo widget it didn’t work and it kept on putting the same photo i deleted and re-downloaded PhotoWidget and it still had the same problem i would give it 5 stars but i can’t add any different photo widgets please fix this.

Works great, but would be nice to be able to disable the “Photo Widget” under PhotoWidget

Adding the first photo after downloading PhotoWidget was fine, but if you try to add a second one only the first photo will be shown. Even if you delete the first picture the second will not appear. Super frustrating.

Good app

Are the pictures supposed to rotate, or will it stay the same picture? I can’t seem to get the pictures to rotate.

How do I select a different phot? I keep posting the same photo on my Home Screen.

Set interval to 1 minute and the photo on the widget has not changed and it’s been 20 minutes.

I set a 1 minute rotation and it never does it. Thats kinda lame.

This doesn’t work when your connected to any WiFi!

i can only get one picture to show up. and even when i make new ones, the same one picture keeps showing up.
