FancyKey - Keyboard Themes Reviews

So I have had fancy ever since my sister told me about it I think maybe a year or a year and a half ago but now it has just been really slow and honestly kinda bad. Now it’s always grey and it never lets me see any new keyboards. This problem has been going on for a while and after still trying to fix it I have a feeling that something is wrong with FancyKey . I have seen some reviews that are newer that saw they have had the same problem. So I would really like this to be fixed and I just hope that someone from this app responds to this please with something helpful (and hopefully a human). I can not get official or showoff keyboards and I am just left with what I have downloaded. Today I tried deleting and reinstalling FancyKey and it is still not working. I also can not make any keyboards. I don’t know if this app made some big announcement that I missed out on but hopefully this problem can be fixed. But also sense I am already typing this I would to ask if you guys could add some new fonts? Ok if you read this and you are a human from this app thank you! I totally recommend getting this game it’s super cool and it’s only one dollar a month to just have all features and I have this on my phone I have it on every device I have including my iPad which I am typing this on right now it’s so amazing it’s really fun and cute and pretty much any age can do this it’s super fun especially when you’re trying to make your iPad or any kind of device specific theme fancy keys is the best way to do your keyboard team in my opinion are use this all the time and now I’m not even using the regular keyboard it is my favorite app out of all the apps I have thanks to FancyKey now I have so much more fun typing at school because I have fun typing because of the theme I have so don’t listen to the other reviews I mean you can but I totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally recommend getting this game we’re not pretty much game but this like typing like a keyboard game it’s super fun and all I do is type now and I actually do my homework because all of her homework is on devices so I totally recommend you get this game.

I've forgotten about FancyKey until very recently. I first got FancyKey about two summers ago. I created keyboards and uploaded then over many different accounts. I have a lot of keyboards downloaded. Today, I decided I would pop into FancyKey and see what was going on.
Part of FancyKey is broken. The showoff section of FancyKey was where you could post keyboards, download other users' keyboards, comment and like on other keyboards, and follow users. Now, it seems like it's broken.
At first, I thought it wasn't broken and that I just needed to update FancyKey . So, I checked FancyKey store for FancyKey and I saw that no updates have been released from the developers since... 9 months ago (as of October 21, 2020) I tried again later, and the showoff section still wouldn't load.
Thank goodness I can still make my own keyboards and I still have keyboards I've previously downloaded from other people. However, I am rather saddened that I cannot upload keyboards anymore, because I feel that uploading keyboards to FancyKey , seeing people download your keyboards, and commenting on people's keyboards was the main appeal of FancyKey . I will still use FancyKey , however, it will never be the same with the showoff section gone.

At first I always wanted a decorated keyboard on my phone. But then I saw FancyKey, and I really wanted download it. So then I downloaded it. Then I saw all the different keyboards. I noticed that you need diamonds so it bothered me, because some of them cost at least 1,000 and I wanted one of the 1,000 ones but it took so long. So I think it at least took me 5 minutes. Yeah 5. So no offense but I think you could make it- uh better? Because it really took me long. So I was thinking you could a little update... to it. Because it took long enough. So the update I was thinking was like- you how some games you login daily and get like-the prize? I was thinking about that and I thought it would be kinda cool to do that. So I think you need to uh- lower your prizes. Yeah I know you don’t want to but- I hope you do. But the reason the- prices are so high are because they are... cool? Right? So I really like FancyKey it’s cool. And one of the things that are is that you could make your own one. So I made my own one I loved it. So I’m actually gonna shout you out on my channel. Right. First off, I'd like to say that I enjoy FancyKey . It could be improved however in many ways. First, the reporting system needs MAJOR IMPROVEMENT! Boards get taken down without another glance! Second off, the usernames of some people is literally "[insert random username]'s reporter!" or "reporter club" etc. etc. etc. Again, boards get taken down without a look at them to see if it's REALLY needed to be taken down. Second off, I think that the font that is presented on the keyboard should be the font that the user is typing in. Third, there have been REALLY inappropriate comments on other boards like "what's your phone number". Fourth, the trials need to be longer. There are people like me that don't really want to pay 20 dollars without a warning when the three days are up. Like maybe a week or two. Because some people might have joined a shared account and news to create boards but can't because their trial is up. That's all the suggestions I can think of at the moment. Other then that it's a good app.

So let me tell you, if your looking for a good keyboard app that doesn’t steal your information, or anything like that, then this is FancyKey for you. Everything about FancyKey is very nice. But there’s a couple things that I wish the creator would fix. Number one is that on roblox, or some apps like that, when you have the custom keyboards, it takes a few times to tap the send button and post it or whatever it’s called and some of the times they blur out the fonts so you can use some of them. Number two is that you have to pay a membership for more than 3 keyboards. It’s fine, because the ones you don’t care about anymore, you can just delete them and make more. But I wish the creator would not have done that. But hey, it’s still pretty good. (If u want to have GIFS in your keyboard, go to settings and tap FancyKey and turn on full access. I would recommend not talking about personal info with it on. They can see what you type.)

FancyKey is awesome. I love how I can make my own keyboards, i can download others, and i even get five chances a day to use a feature that one would usually have to pay for. There are a few flaws though. If you type really fast, you will have to go back a lot to fix a million typos, and you can't go back by holding the space button. I also think that one should be able to customize the amount they charge for another to download their keyboard, instead of having to chose a price that fits best from the buttons below. All in all this is a great app for one to express their creativity through the way you type, and i don't think these flaws are enough for you to not get FancyKey if you already want it. And a suggestion for anyone who would like to design their own backgrounds, picsart is a great app for that. I use it for every keyboard i make, and the default size is the exact size to fit in your keyboard.

FancyKey deserves a million stars. Don't listen to the haters comments, those are people who just love to give negative reviews to perfect apps just to ruin their 5stars. This is better than all of the other keyboard apps. I've tried Keyboard Skins, Better Fonts... But none of them satisfied me. this app truly is the keyboard app with everything. I have deleted all my other keyboard apps. Just add a Bitmoji keyboard and the only keyboard on my phone will be the one and only this app. I love love love the themes, keep 'em coming. I wish the "download one free theme a day" thing would return though. FancyKey is everything you could ever want in a keyboard. It is the keyboard app of everyone's dreams. If you have FancyKey then you have the right idea. If you do not have FancyKey then download it right this instant. If you do not have FancyKey and do not download it then there is something wrong with you. This is the greatest keyboard app ever, many thanks and keep up the good work! 5/5

OK so I was really bored of my regular keyboard and tired of the billing regular font so I decided to look for some a keyboard app and I had found some one of them didn’t work at all the other one didn’t have cursing so then I found fancy key and at first I was really skeptical about it and like at first like the Fonz you had to like type one letter and then you could change the font and I was super annoyed by that so it’s gonna be really bad with you but and then I discovered that you could change the background with like a picture that you already had and I changed it to the picture I took it and it was really cute then I left it on the front for a little bit and then when I got back it wrote in that font and I was super happy so yeah that’s what I’m giving five stars on FancyKey totally recommend and I’m gonna recommend it to my mom and my brother and it’s gonna be great so yeah thank you🥰😁😊

OKAY, something is really wrong with the keyboards, some cover up the letters, some are unattractive, and there’s no way to get a cute font. Just really “unique fonts”, for example; the 'ϯαϯϯσσ' font would never be used, but it’s there. Another thing that is wrong with the fonts is that they don’t have my all-time favorite and it’s shown on the keyboards but you can’t get it! If you’re reading this and you are a developer/user that can add my favorite font, here it is, my favorite font is the noteworthy font. I use it all the time when I edit my photos.

Enough about fonts, let’s talk about those keyboards again! One keyboard; ‘Angel cat’, is my least favorite ever - for example, you can’t see some of the letters because of the cat! And you are not coming out with any new keyboards, and FancyKey feels abandoned. I realized that from reading a review. 😊

If you know anyone who works on the game or used to (since it’s kinda never updated), please tell them to fix these problems - and if you created that ‘Angel cat’ keyboard.... I hope you stub your toe. 😂

I have only been using FancyKey for 2 days but let me tell you that it gets better and better each time I use it. At first I noticed that they have a really nice sized selection for those of us who can't afford to have the pro version, I'm broke as heck so finding apps like this one is amazing! Then I noticed that if you like one of their pre made versions and want to download it, yes it does cost diamonds but all you have to do is watch an add (or 10) to build up your diamonds and then it's all yours. Then the next time I get on I try see if I can buy a different font or key shape or design and discover that you can choose 5 everyday. Now this is as far as I've gotten so idk if you get to keep the 5 each day or if the 5 start over daily, either way it's pretty cool! As far as the backgrounds go they are not really my style so have a good selection of wallpapers in your gallery and your good. So far, this is my favorite app I have!

Used to be pretty popular here. I left bc of all of the people abusing the "report" feature. I dont recommend anyone to post boards but only make them for yourself. FancyKey is filled with a bunch of 7 yr old idiots that whatsoever do not give a crap about how much effort people put into some boards. Its takes the fun out of it. I came back about half a year later to find almost all of my posted keyboards reported. Jewelie, the "community manager" has left which leaves FancyKey with no moderators to restore boards. I heard about emailing someone but that's too difficult and shouldn't be necessary just for making a few boards visible to others. It's really a shame of what this place has come to. Please fix the system. AND GET MODERATORS for heavens sake oh god that would make FancyKey so much better.

In conclusion, get FancyKey for the cool fonts and keyboards but otherwise, 𝕕𝕠 𝕟𝕠𝕥 𝕖𝕟𝕘𝕒𝕘𝕖 𝕚𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕞𝕦𝕟𝕚𝕥𝕪 𝕓𝕪 𝕦𝕡𝕝𝕠𝕒𝕕𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕓𝕠𝕒𝕣𝕕𝕤 𝕠𝕣 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕣𝕖𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕥 𝕚𝕥. The fact that the same person is on hot/trending almost 8 times at once and has low effort keyboards kinda shows something.

If FancyKey had more mature users and mods it would be pretty fun, like it was 2 years ago

this app this is such a wonderful app and great to make new friends. But there’s an huge issue with people who we don’t know reporting all of our keyboards and none of them are inappropriate or sell stuff it’s just cute keyboards. The button needs a fix and needs to be monitored by a staff member. If it is found not inappropriate then it returns back to that persons profile and has some protection thing on that keyboard so it can’t be reported again. If found it gets to stay in the report section and the thing monitors who is reporting the keyboards so it catches the name of the person reporting the keyboard to get them banned if they repeatedly doing it on purpose. And or remove it but I think it’s helpful cause just in case. Other than that FancyKey is wonderful and I wish best of luck and can’t wait for more wonderful updates.

Hi! I'm part of the this app community, and I loved it at first! I made a lot of friends on FancyKey and the keyboards are great, but recently I've been logged out, none of my boards are loading, and FancyKey is overall not working. PLEASE FIX because I was on FancyKey a lot and had over 600 followers. That bug is really annoying and I haven't been able to use FancyKey for over a month.

About the community: most of it is a loving and caring community that helps each out, but some of it is just TOXIC. Some people are reporting boards for no reason (this has happened to me and my friends multiple times). Also, there are people hacking accounts and promoting self-harm and suicide or making smut roleplay accounts. I have two younger sisters under the age of 10 who use FancyKey and I find it really disgusting and inappropriate that they might come across these accounts. If these things are not discontinued then I will most likely delete FancyKey . Please look into it, athenasugar101.

Okay so I really appreciate that there is a report button for boards, just in case somebody uploads a board that’s really inappropriate or something violent. I like how you can make your own boards and follow people and comment. It is actually such an amazing app! The only thing that is wrong with it is the reporting system. People report boards even if they aren’t bad. It’s annoying, other people work so hard to make a board and it ends up going private and gets reported. Like come on, that’s not fair. Another issue is people online dating and sharing information that people shouldn’t know. Yes strangers are on FancyKey, obviously. On my experience I’ve seen in the comments like phone numbers and info that they shouldn’t be saying on an online app. People ask each other out too, I’m not saying it’s wrong to online date, but like 11 year olds are online dating. 11 year olds, or 10. I honestly love FancyKey and I just think there should be some changes and then it’s good to go. Thank you for reading.

No option for to buy keyboards with diamonds earned from watching videos. I have in app purchases enabled, I have created an account and signed in, i have wasted my time and watched a number of ad videos to earn diamonds, I choose the keyboard skin, choose buy with 300 diamonds, then it just shows watch video to earn more diamonds, I have 420 diamonds so I have more than enough to get keyboard. Obviously this is an app glitch that needs to be fixed. Apps that don’t receive regular updates or looks like development has stopped altogether need to be scrubbed from the AppStore.

Update: After maybe the 6th attempt to use my diamonds I was able to apply it to choose my keyboard. Now that I have it set I can use it and it actually is a pretty awesome app. So I have upgraded my review from 1 Star to 4 stars, it would have been 5 stars aside from the initial glitches.

so i think i’ve had fancy for about a year i think and it hasn’t been glitching until recently. At first the copy and paste keyboard thingy wasn’t working, but i just ignored it and kept on using it. Then a few months later it stopped working all together and it was basically impossible to type a sentence on there. whenever i put any letter, number, in any font, or any emoji, it automatically deletes the text right after you type it. whenever i click on the keyboard after writing something it deletes everything that’s already on the keyboard. i’ve been having to re-type this for 30 mins because that kept happening. this used to be my favorite app ever and now it useless. i’m very disappointed because this was so unique and cool to type on but then it stopped working. i’m honestly really sad about this and if you could fix it that would be great. For now I give this 3 stars because 1 I am not able to publish anything I can't share anything I make and I can't ad a profile pic so -1 star and 2 is because you can only have 3 custom keyboards if you want anymore after that hope someone had the same idea as you so -1 star I should've taken another star off because of the fact that the key click sounds are just awful they're terrible maybe like 1 or 2 are decent and I would use them but only for specific things other than that they're terrible but anyways great app other than the few things not being able to publish is a HUGE problem that needs to be fixed asap I have contacted a developer no response yet but that's understandable because it's like 4:30 am right now

PS: tone it down a little with the ads it's like every time I click something there's 100 ads no joke every single time I click something there's an ad sometimes even 2

For starters FancyKey is great. But I have some suggestions. First if all, I'm a little irritated with the keyboards. I tried to type in TTYL
which is a widely used phrase for talk to you later and it keeps coming up as Tyler. No matter how many times you try. Also if I try to type I know or tomorrow in smaller letters for example: Ik
And also TMRW
I have to hit return so it doesn't change to if and TMW
I use shorter words to get the point across quickly so those is in dire need of change. Second of all, I wish you could show on the keyboard when the letters are capitalized and when they are not. (because that would just be normal) I've got a couple more. Could you please behave an activity button on the bottom so you cab see when someone liked it commented on a keyboard? If there already is, please tell me 🙂. Lastly, I know this probably isn't your fault, but could you maybe 🅽🅾🆃 show gross ads? O was scrolling through keyboards when I saw an earwax ad and it showed someone pulling earwax out with tweezers. UGH! That is absolutely disgusting!!! So please! More not disgusting ads because it made me close out of FancyKey faster than I ever had. So stop! Please!

I'm super minimalist so I love how I don't need to have 4 different keyboards, FancyKey has a built in emoji keyboard, gif, and other things. I love the feature to switch from different languages, I use Spanish and English so having a faster way to switch between the two is very handy and helpful, at first I thought I had to press the "f" key and then switch but it's a lot faster than that. So thank you!!! I just have one request, make the long press a little bit shorter. Because of looks like I have to long press for quote a while before the option come up, also, could you just make it if I've got two languages that the long press just change to Spanish instead of me having to slide up? I know. I'm super lazy😅😂

If you do not have FancyKey and do not download it then there is something wrong with you. This is the greatest keyboard app ever, many thanks and keep up the good work! 5/5

ok let me tell u... FancyKey is great! i’ve been using it for about over a year but there are some problems, big ones

THERE ARE PEOPLE GOING AROUND AND REPORTING BOARDS FOR NO REASON! Literally NO REASON! i love FancyKey but i’m considering leaving. I wouldn’t want to stay if people are reporting my boards for n͟o͟ r͟e͟a͟s͟o͟n͟! None, i say NONE of my boards are inappropriate!!!!!!! i’ve very mad about this 😡i see boards that reach up to 1k and the board didn’t even get reported when my board gets up to about 96 uploads the next minute ITS GONE! this reporting NEEDS to STOP! people have been writing reviews and complaining that this reporting is happening and u guys are doing NOTHING ABOUT IT! maybe if u ACTUALLY started doing something and maybe people would actually enjoy FancyKey withought having to worry 24/7 that their board could get reported any minute! IM VERY TIRED OF IT it’s getting out of hand and u aren’t even doing anything about it. I’m sorry but tbh u haven’t been doing that well of taking care of FancyKey. every time i update FancyKey all u put was “fixed some bugs” every time. Take care of FancyKey YOU made AND ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Ok peeps just want a cool keyboard but there is a community online thing on here we’re u can get followed and stuff for ur boards and some people just post random things for no reason and the talk about it. Some peeps on the community are nice but I would delete FancyKey if ur parents don’t like u talking to strangers online bc u don’t know who they r. It’s rlly dangerous to talk to peeps u don’t know bc the might be pervs. So keep that in mind!! And when I started the online thing that they have I immediately got 60 followers without doing anything!! And the posts weren’t even mine!! I deleted all of them I’ve never posted and some were from like 2016!! I was still in 4th grade and didn’t have a phone yet!! But the online community is pretty nice they always have stuff saying “be ur self “ “ur beautiful the way u r” lots of encouragement, which is sweet but some peeps r real big buttholes and just say “ew” to frickn everything DONT BE A HATER!! And I saw one person who had a “online best friend” which is fine but u don’t even know that person, so what’s the point?!

I use this keyboard all the time and have been for 2 years. 2 years ago, this keyboard was much better than the apple keyboard. Now it is much worse. Whenever I try to use the keyboard, it takes 3 minutes for any key to show up on my phone. For example, if I am texting someone, I start typing a full paragraph without looking at the screen and when I do, nothing is there. So I would type the same letter over and over for the next few minutes before I finally get the letter a to show upon my screen. So, I decide to wait a half an hour to see if my paragraph will show up. It doesn't. Also, half the time that I go into an app to use the keyboard, the keyboard doesn't even show up. I have to reboot my phone just to get it back which shouldn't be necessary. On a side note, in iOS 13, Apple made edits to some emojis and added a bunch of other new ones. I'd greatly appreciate you doing the same for the emojis on your keyboards. By the way, the Apple keyboard may be boring, but is way better than your keyboards right now. I'm switching back to that one until I see you make the changes to fix the glitching.

FancyKey is really amazing. I fell in love with it since I downloaded it a couple days ago. The themes are all really amazing, and the unlimited access is really expensive, but you don't really need it as you can really get everything free of you just watch a couple ads. You can create your own themes and download themes that other people created. There is ᎪmᎪᏃᎥᏁᎶ fᎾᏁᏆs that they give you, GIFs, and emoji pictures (such as this)

There is one problem that I have with it, and it is not a reason why you shouldn't get it, just a suggestion for the maker of FancyKey . The sounds of the clicking noise when you type are really annoying, and so when you download one of the themes, the sound they give you can be really annoying to hear when you type. You can turn the noise off, but you can't change it to the default clicking noise, which I like to hear when I type. If that could be fixed so you can change the noise to default, that would be great. Thank you for bearing through this whole comment, and I really recommend you get FancyKey! (Also, I wrote this all with this app)

I love FancyKey and it is very amazing. There are nice people on here but it never said that there would be stuff like commenting and posting. I never knew that this was a social media app. FancyKey is so good is you want to have your keyboard to make sounds, have a picture on it, type cute fonts, and etc. FancyKey is so fun and cool! I only put 4 stars because there may be inappropriate people or things on here because it is a social media app. Some people post their actual face and that may be dangerous. People could put their information on here which is even more dangerous!!!! This is a very good app and is very fun but if you make a account and post boards then you may not want to put your info out onto here. I really recommend FancyKey and I have told some of my friends that I used to have about it. Otherwise this is a very cool app and if you really like stuff like this then I highly recommend this!!!
