Is working now

I was so hopeful to have found such an app to facilitate communicating with coparent. Had very high hopes. I Bought Fayr . Added my coparent. Cannot read his texts on Fayr itself, I just get the notifications on my iPhone, and when I try to send a message, I’m taken to a pop up that asks me to either disconnect parent or block them. Which I do not want to do. There are time sensitive messages due to extreme health issues that my son has and this isn’t working for us. Sent a couple of messages to support team and I’m still waiting for their assistance...I am hoping they will resolve said issue...

Edit: Thankfully they resolved the issue same day and so far so good!

Needs More

Fayr was recommended by my lawyer and, on the most basic level, it achieves what it advertises; keeping coparents connected and organized. However, there are some basic features missing—outside of the frequent crashes—mark all notifications as read being a major oversight. When my coparent loads 20 doctor visits at once, I have to click through each of them—no way to clear the notification queue otherwise. I’ve found that time stamps are also a little wonky too, sometimes showing different times when I log into Fayr . Again, if you’re looking for something scrappy, Fayr can do it, but for the associated cost, it’s unclear to me that any of it goes towards further app development or user experience.

Coparenting made easy!

Fayr has made coparenting so much easier. I can’t tell you how much time and energy this saves me from rummaging through old receipts, going through the calendar, and finding old emails. Everything can be done right through Fayr quickly and there’s proof of everything. The geographer has come in handy a few times as well.

Great app for co-parenting!

After doing some research and listening to several podcasts advertising the this app app, I decided to give it a try. Fayr is so easy to use! It has a GPS check in feature which is so helpful!!! I am able to enter my children’s schedules, upload documents, and keep record of expenses. Fayr has made my life a lot easier! Thanks you!!!!

Best coparenting tool!

Fayr was so easy to use! I really like the expense tracker because it saves us from so many arguments. You can run reports right from Fayr incase you need them for court, which has been so useful. There have been time my ex hasn’t wanted to use it, which is fine because I have everything tracked on my end.

Repeating Rotation

Our schedule is a 3 week rotation, it it possible to add that option within the next few updates. Otherwise I have to add in each date manually for the next few months.

Also, it looks like it is now making us pay to use Fayr ?

Building good habits

This is a great app, easy to use, intuitive.
I also feel like I'm a lot better at communicating now. It forces you to think about your children first, and that's the most important thing!

Burned again by Fayr

I'm stuck on Fayr because it's the one we chose. I've been burned many times because things don't load, buttons are disabled, etc. This time the "send" button disabled and I thought I had replied to a time-sensitive question when in fact I had not. The send button appeared active but it did nothing upon hitting it. Got in trouble again because of this broken app. Do not use.

Clunky, buggy

If you need a co-parenting app you most definitely don’t need one that is going to make communication more difficult. The chat function is painful, and the parenting schedule forces 15 minute increments between transitions. This makes no sense. It should be a transition time that both parents are in agreement. Even the smallest negation has the opportunity to explode into conflict.

The best, period

Fayr is very helpful in keeping us on the same page on things like expenses. I believe it will improve our parenting.

Texting glitches

Good concept, lots of delays on the texting and glitches with the server. Overall the concept is good hopefully they can have a more reliable texting app otherwise it can cause too much frustration to be a useful app.

App never works and won’t cancel

I’ve not used Fayr since Aug of 2019 and cannot get it to cancel and when I did use it it froze all the time. Now I’ve been charged and their instructions aren’t even accurate to stop them. Truly disappointed they’re making money off people already in a bad position.

Best co-parenting app I’ve found!

I’m grateful for Fayr and all its useful features. Makes co-parenting just a bit easier.

Not great

The concept is wonderful. The technology is extremely frustrating because Fayr is riddled with bugs...with no rhyme or reason for when it decides to not work. Additionally, it was not my idea to use Fayr so the fact that I’m forced to use a substandard product drives me even more crazy than I typically am 😀

Exacerbated communication

App freezes all the time. Notifications are not shown until date you open Fayr . Messages are not sent. For $10/month you’d be better off using snail mail for communication.

Stuck at start

Can’t even get past the Login Screen.
1) the keyboard covers up majority of the login button
2) how to login when there isn’t a “register new accounts” button
3) login with Facebook seems like a promising solution. But I try and only get a message that says “Error”

A great tool to simplify a complicated process

Fayr is a wonderful way to coordinate the busy schedules of two single parents.

Good idea, but .....

when you download Fayr - there is nowhere to ‘sign up’ for an account. Stumbled across the signup feature on the website only to find out then that there is a monthly subscription fee. That information should be in the description of Fayr . App deleted ....

Complex schedule?

Very hard to set up a schedule that is complex. I used google calendar and Microsoft outlook both of which are much easier

By

No more

I’ve been using this for a couple years and all of the sudden I open it today and it’s requiring me to subscribe/pay to use. No warning. Nothing. Very disappointing.

Beautiful, useful, life-changing

Fayr has really smoothed out communication with my ex. Everything is organized and verified. I've probably saved thousands in meditation already. Totally worth it. I'll never go back to life without this app!

Fills a need, but does it horribly.

this app app does a horrible job at facilitating coparent communication. App is buggy. Issues with accounts, unable to send messages, or you send a message and get an error message only to see you sent the message.

Support is minimum. Stability would make Fayr amazing.

This app ROCKS!

I'm not great with paperwork, so it's nice not having to save receipts anymore too. 👌🏻

Price hike

No thanks, used for a year and was a great tool at $4.99 a month, now for $9.99 I could get a tv service or something alike the whole family can enjoy.

App not functioning properly

Fayr does not populate messages in real time. This has made co-parenting with an already difficult coparent even harder.
