iPlum: Business Phone Number Reviews

I just signed up about an hour ago for the $9.99 plan which I thought included unlimited calling AND texting. There website advertises “local phone number + unlimited US calling & texting” for $8.33. But iPlum said $9.99. Which sucked that their website is giving incorrect info. But I signed up anyway. I sent a text to a co-worker and got a reply but then when I tried to reply it said that needed to get Global credits. I couldn’t figure out what that meant, all I knew is that my text was not
going through. So I emailed their help desk and their response was that everything was fine and that I only got unlimited calling. Which is not what was indicated on their app. I was even a bit annoyed when I read that the unlimited calling and texting wasn’t really unlimited. They put monthly limits on it 2000 texts & 3000 minutes. But aside from their help desk telling me that I didn’t have a texting plan, they offered me no temporary solution to my problem. Like what the hell “global credits” mean and how I get them. I replied back that I had signed up for unlimited calling & texting and asked if they could help change that for me. I received a reply stating their business hours and that they’d get back to me soon. So basically they are closed for tonight. So I give them 1 star since I just signed up and thE response I got from their support team was less than helpful. What a bad introduction to your product and quality of service this app!

I am trying to like this app. The ratings look great, it is highly recommended, it is inexpensive, but I continue to have problem after problem and I’m starting to hate it. I run a counseling business and I am in a growth stage where I would like to use the phone with my employees. It took a month to transfer my number because of some kind of miscommunication. So I had no phone line for a month....Then I wasn’t receiving any of my text messages because of some kind of glitch in the system. You can have the number ring on other phones but it either dumps the client into a personal voicemail or to one main voicemail...there is no option for separate voicemail boxes for employees. Now I can’t change my greeting. I’ve recorded many, but it won’t change. So it’s stuck with an out of office message that I can’t update. When you try to get help it is all through submitting a support ticket online and you have to wait.

What a headache.

this app is the perfect solution to having a second, and most importantly disposable number, I have been using this app for about 1-2 years now, having purchased a one off low cost life time licence, and I must say, that I have not as yet encountered a single issue, with either sending or receiving calls or texts. Of course if you do require assistance, then this app help is just a single text away, and they will help you resolve any issues you may have. Thank you this app for always keeping your service up-to-date, with the latest tech available.

this app is the best choice if looking to add a backup phone or just as your only wifi connected phone. I have used just over a year now switching phone numbers a few times. I've had just minor connection issues but always on my end not anything this app has done. I've used a few different wifi phone providers and I always keep this app because of their reliability and honestly they have never given me a reason to switch fully to another service. Give this app a try, you wont be disappointed!

It wasn’t until I forgot to make a payment that iPlum was working properly. I was happy after re-instating my number zz text messages finally made a nose for text notification and I could properly and promptly respond to my clients!! Woot woot, almost gave up! Lastly. I’ve been logged out 3 times and with it. All my texts and all my voice messages etc. nothing saved so it was hard for me to know I was messaging and calling with out looking up current info on my desktop or laptop at the office smh... I guess today they update message backup! Thank goodness... if it works I’ll then give 5 stars, till then 4! Great app!!

First I love how affordable this is, and that you can add on a fax number as well! I haven’t had any issues calling or receiving calls so far. I haven’t used it for texting but I love that I can have secure text messages. HIPAA compliance is really important for my work so I love that it’s available if you need it. I got a fax as well which is also very affordable but I don’t like that I can only use the fax on my computer and not iPlum on my phone. I hope someday they had the ability to view received faxes in iPlum .

this app has had my back for years! Any time my regular service has been disconnected for whatever reason, ive always had text now to fall back on. But nowadays i actually use iPlum more frequently than i even bother paying for another carrier. The only issue i have with iPlum is the "suggested stickers" i turn them off yet it never fails they will pop back up and sometimes even when the suggestions are turned off, they'll still be on. I dont like them bc. I usually accidently click one.

 Great app, easy setup & great rates. A must have for privacy concerns as you don't need to use your standard mobile number. Works over a stable wifi or mobile data connection & even has option to route call through carrier without disclosing your cell number, in other words the number they supply you with is the number that your contact will see. Privacy is hard to come by these days, our info is money to companies & if we don't take control then we are going to be exploited! Nice app!

This is a good app everyone should get this. iPlum is also AD-FREE. Thats the best part. Great and easy & to use, I can call for my friends and my partners. Having some free trial day that shows you iPlum is worth the $. I needed to make a call from a land line and use this app number to make the call from my cell and it worked perfectly. It's a great app. Has helped in organizing sales calls from personal calls. I love it. "The right Tool for the right Job" It does what it says it will do and in these days where privacy matters this is the right app. Thanks developers.

This is as worse as all the other apps, l own a interior painting company, and wanted a 1888 number as second # on my phone, l saw amazing reviews so l went for it, not realizing the reviews where from more than 2 years ago.
iPlum is not bad, but still bad, text messages takes long to deliver and download, and when you make or receive calls you or the caller can’t hear you properly some times. So l decided to port my number to T-Mobile so l could use it as eSIM as second number on my iPhone, this app charge me almost $20 for allowing me to port it but is being two days and nothing, so try to look for a number for customer service and guess what?
THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER.
This is unacceptable. This is one of the reasons I’m leaving because if l stayed and l have more problem how lm solving them if there is no customer service to help you.!!
I also email them multiple time and there is no answers. So please just avoid it. You might loose customer.
You are better with twilio.

There are other apps out there that are the same as this and have customer service.

I have nothing but high praises for this app since i initially started using it about six weeks ago. Good work guys! Just one thing i've found and thats an aging system for erasing my older text and phone call history. I just haven't been able to use the rather "lacking"settings section to pin this ongoing procedure out yet. Maybe you could better explain it so my laymans mind can figure, or better yet "tweek" the settings section out so it better explaains how to accomplish this particular out.

I've heard about iPlum and I was kind of skeptical but I have family in Canada that doesn't want to spend a lot of money calling me anyway these people are my family and they're very important to me but we're poor and they can't afford to long-distance calls so I added this line to my phone and it actually works better than my own phone I'm so grateful that I can stay close to my family I called my phone the uniter since it has United my family and myself again thank you for this phone number

I've tried a few different texting apps and this one is by far the best! this app is pretty simple/straightforward and user friendly. Basic customization options allow for pleasing aesthetics and a more personalized experience. The ads do not impede function, do not pop open or autoplay, and are not intrusive/invasive. I even used this app for several months while I had no cell service (penny pinching!)and have a couple friends that use this app instead of paying for a cell! Great app!!!

The best one out there. There Customer Service is tops they have taken care of me twice when I had problems. The best part is both times it was due to unforeseen circumstances on my side. Thanks this app for setting the bar when it comes to application phone service. So good that I keep a auto renew number, and still get my short term number for calling back Sales calls, giving it out when im looking to purchase something, or when I run an add online or in my local news paper. More companies need to follow your lead.

First off, look at the names of all the 5 star reviews here. They all have weird names that happen to all be weird in the exact same way. Obviously fake reviews.

With that being said though, iPlum does what it needs to do for me. Calls work, texting works, and it’s a great resource to have. Tons of other interesting features like call recording and out of business hours auto texting that I will experiment with in the future.

Amazing tool many reasons. As business owner and contractor I separate personal # from business # with only 1 phone, use multiple #'s to assign each # a specfic purpose to better prepare for incoming calls or be more organized. There are multiple tools to help log/organize the contents of calls/texts to access later for sales/marketing or recall specific details of communications. Saves tons of time and $ being organized from start of communications, creating domino effect of efficiency

I think iPlum is so cool! They do have ads but I don't think they're intrusive at all and the fact that you can make calls for free no points or credits needed is great and the company that made iPlum needs to get money somehow because they don't charge a lot to upgrade so an ad here and there is not a big deal and they aren't in your face or get in the way of using iPlum , you can change your number they offer multiple different numbers and you could change it at any time TY 2nd line! Thanks this app.

Have a wallpaper behond the messages is very cute! You can taxt and call (unless you want to go nation wide or off wifi which is understandable) you can send voice message, have a working voicemail, can send cute video gifs! The adda aren't that bad, one pops up every here and then. Its annoying when it happens but out of all the good texting apps, this one has the chillest add spam. No long video adds either at least not yet for me just this one slot add and you just X out. 10/1

Works exactly as it says it does and the UI for iPlum is intuitive- easy to use, no confusion. When you call or text, your info comes up, and there us just no way to trace it back to you. I use it for online sales because I was stalled and harrassed by someone who bought something from me on Offer Up. This makes me feel way more secure. Update: I've used iPlum for 3 months now for all my online sales, preliminary networking, test marketing, etc, and I still have 0 negative feedback!!
