paypal decided to pair up with this app so i was forced to use this, and i hate it lol
you guys decided to charge me an additional $10 for two packages that were successfully delivered? one was a whole MONTH ago with no issues during shipment, and i wake up this morning seeing a label adjustment... ridiculous. same with another one that was only ONE OUNCE OFF at the post office and the post office didn't care. $10 was gone
absolutely wild that they think they can take $10 for whatever reason whenever they want for any package... never had this issue before with any packages using paypal's old shipping method and i've been doing this for four years. really sad that it's like this now

I love this app. The only thing I wish ShipStation could do would be to *buy labels, *add funds to the shipping account, and assign orders to employees. Sometimes my employees are working without me and need more money for labels. I don’t want to grant employee access to buy labels because it comes off my debit card but I don’t want to have to login through my computer every time either. The website for this app isn’t mobile friendly so it can be a tedious process. I still do it the long way because it HAS to be done sometimes, but I do wish it was easier or could be done through ShipStation .

ShipStation would be my most used app if it worked smoothly. Anytime I create a label and have to add the dimensions in the package field I have to exit out after each number I enter as the pop up box does not let you scroll up or down or move to the next field. A couple of updates ago, ShipStation finally let you add additional funds but now that function is no longer working. Even after all updated ShipStation causes more of a headache than making it a smooth transition while on the go. Even printing is a hassle as I have to email myself a pdf to print. Please fix these issues and then it would be one amazing app!

I love this app’s service.... but only on my laptop. The mobile (and iPad) versions are unfortunately awful. It’s difficult to enter items in some of the fields, I can’t ship internationally, and it’s generally an incomplete interface. Printing a label is a headache, half the options don’t work so I have to MacGyver a workaround by emailing the label to myself and printing from there. ShipStation at least semi-works, as the website via iPad is unworkable, I can’t even log in.

I want so bad for it to work, because I use an iPad for literally everything else with my business, so it would be great for this app to also work seamlessly. I have hope they’ll update it though and then I’ll be stoked to up my review to 5 stars.

We use this app since about 2 years. A powerful shipping solution for our DTC business. However, the mobile app lacks 2 crucial features to be truly useful: 1) possibility to connect a wireless scale (like we can do on a desktop), and 2) ability to purchase additional funds.

Point 2 is annoying, but can be overcome by using the browser on the iPad (not using ShipStation ). However, the first point is just irritating: why can’t I connect my wireless scale to the iPad?

Anyway, offer these 2 features in the mobile app and I will give it 5 stars.

I love this app on my MacBook and have been using it for 11 years. But ShipStation is pretty much useless.

The most common reason I’d want to look up an order on my phone would be to check tracking when a customer emails and asks where their package is. If you’re lucky enough to pull up an order by searching with order number (50% of the time I get an error message), you cannot just click on tracking number to track. And you can’t cut and paste it in your browser even. You have to write down the tracking then type it in in your browser.

Also, when searching for an order by order number, usually the results are a bunch of orders! So you have to scroll through them to find the correct one.

Maybe I am the crazy one for continuing to use ShipStation! I keep hoping it will work properly, but it rarely does. So frustrating.

I was using ShipStation from my phone when I am not in the office. We don’t really use ShipStation to process order because they don’t have the full function like the desktop version. But after a iOS update I begun with log in error and can’t log in to read orders.

So I started contacting support and found out just my phone can’t log in and not my other employees. So I buy a new phone hoping it can work. But only last for a week then same error message pop out. Now another manager having the same issue but their support seem helpless to solve then problem.

I like ShipStation for quickly finding tracking and getting information for customers. Too bad the actual cut and paste clipboard icons do nothing. You can’t tap on them and have them copy tracking numbers to text customers. You need to click the tracking and then copy and paste it from your browser. A little bit of a work around but ShipStation works ok. Developers, if you’re reading this, please fix this. It would make it a great app.

ShipStation is great makes filling orders very easy! One minor update that should be done is that when an item is ordered and it’s multiples of the same item it should highlight it in red or some color so the picker knows to be aware of multiple items of the same Sku similar to how it is from a desktop view! If that was in the next update that would be awesome!

I love the this app mobile app with the built in barcode scanner so I can scan my packing slips once I’ve packed my orders and make sure I accurately print the right shipping label at my workstation. this app is a big time saver for my multi-channel ecommerce business and helps me keep all my orders organized.

After choosing specific stores in the filter option, I can no longer click on an order to see the order details.

Error does not happen before choosing a store to filter.

Please fix. I had no problems before the most recent update 😢

We usually ship via the desktop app, which has its own limitations, so we were excited for a mobile version that we could use to double check while we’re out in the field shipping or on the fly to see updates on shipments. If you search an order number, it brings up anything with that number. It’s like finding a needle in a haystack. Get your search together! We have no other use for ShipStation other than that most basic request.

For some god forsaken reason ShipStation won’t let me can see detailed tracking info/estimated delivery dates/etc. so I’m sitting here manually typing in a super long tracking number. I should be able to either click on a tracking number and be taken to the shipping carrier’s site or at least be allowed to copy the number to paste it into my web browser.

Happy ShipStation never crashes when I do large inventories .
Have been able to print labels effortlessly. Barcode scanner comes in handy with large inventories for our business.
Definitely recommend using ShipStation!

I have been using this app for several months now. I find it affordable, easy to use, and it provides great insights on my sale trends. I love that I can check on orders through ShipStation while I'm on the go. Their customer service is fantastic as well.

Whoever designed ShipStation should receive an award. Super interface and rock solid stable! No joke! ShipStation is the best I’ve used since iphone in 2007. It has so many features, super smooth and don’t crash! Wow I want your team to deign my app when I get a product!

Just started with ship station and customer service was wonderful helping me get set up. Have already started using and love being able to do it all from home.

Would be great to use if it actually integrated to the platforms that I use. There’s no integration for poshmark, Mercari or Facebook marketplace nor is there integration for pirate ship which is where I do most of my labels at a pretty decent discount I’m afraid to use this because I don’t feel like paying full price for USPS labels

I thought ShipStation would make life easier, but it’s not like that…
-When you choose a specific package you have set up in your account, ShipStation doesn’t fill in the dimensions.
-You can’t enter a decimal amount in either the lbs or oz field.
-When you print a label you have to tell it every time what you want, regardless of your account defaults. It takes 3 button click to get a label to spit out.

In the end you’re better off to sort orders on your desktop, print an order summary to work off of & then go back to the desktop to make your labels.

We use SS to move about 1,000 - 1,500 packages a month. We’ve used them for about 18-months and only had 3-4 days of down time due to a PayPal connectivity error. These were resolved with solid communication.

I have been using ShipStation for like 6 months now. I love being able to see my orders all in one place. It’s fairly easy to use.

The reason why I didn’t do a 5 star rating is it doesn’t auto update the orders like I ask it to. I need to manually go in and refresh it to pull new orders in. Even the option says to auto pull but it doesn’t.

I love ShipStation! It's made shipping on the go so convenient! The fact that I'm able to copy tracking numbers with a click and print labels straight from my phone has been such a time saver.

ShipStation is missing one of the most basic shipping features; package tracking for shipped packages.

Let’s say you’re on the go and a customer requests tracking info. You can’t find it here, except as history which is a non-copiable field.

This is a huge oversight on ShipStation , meanwhile the mobile version of the site is non existent and unusable on even a larger iPhone display.

App locked itself (Requires iOS 11, not iOS 9)

I made the mistake of updating.
ShipStation is now permanently locked into an error cycle.

This is because it claims (in error message) that ShipStation requires iOS 11. Even the specs on this page still say "Requires iOS 9."

Normal apps don't have this problem because ShipStation Store will not allow you to download something with requirements past your current iOS. Often the store will then offer to let you download an older version that matches your iOS (if the developer allows that option). So this app didn't set the requirement correctly, I'm guessing.

Based on my experience with this app (desktop), I'm not surprised. And that's sad.

It’s the best I have for mobile - but that’s because this app Web is literally unusable on iPhone. In 2018.

Regardless, it’ll do some things well, but one inexplicable omission is the functionality to find an order’s tracking number. In a shipping app. Yes, you read that right. It’s like no one who planned or developed this has ever spent a day in a fulfillment center.

Add this simple feature, and I’ll review the rest fairly.

Often, I can’t find shipped orders under shipped. It’s weird but I don’t know why. There needs to be a similar version of what’s on the shipped tab (on the “shipped” orders tab) which allows to copy and paste the tracking. That would be very useful.

I can’t live without the SS app🙂
Wishing the desktop team would let me email an invoice like in ShipStation .

I am hesitant to look for other shipping software because I love seeing my orders in ShipStation .

Please add the ability to see the tracking numbers within orders. This is hard to believe its not already here!

I like ShipStation. Easy to use and saved me a lot on international courier cost. Worry free on labels and one click print are the best I’ve seen in the market.
I’ll give five star if automatic real time order sync up could be possible.

I usually use this app from the main workstation but if I need to check up on anything, ShipStation helps me monitor and track shipments
