  Unfair

  Do not order on this platform in this period of COVID-19 pandemic. People are in quarantine and lots are not going be shipped. Despite this critical situation, Catawiki is still asking payments to be done as soon as possible with no guarantee the package will be delivered within the pre-established delivery times. In short, the platform is asking immediate payments for a service that cannot be guaranteed. The risk is to pay immediately and wait months for the packages to be delivered. In my personal experience, I have been waiting 2 months for a lot that still has to be shipped. I asked for a full or partial refund but, I have been told to stay still and wait because nothing can be done. Rather than offering other solutions like competitors are doing, such as paying part of the lot in order to get the ownership and, when it can be shipped, pay the rest. They force you to pay in full, threatening to block your account and make you pay fees and penalties over the lots you have not paid. One word can describe all this: unfair.

  Worst App to Sell

  This is the worst app you can ever think off to sell. Their customer service is the worst you can ever come across, every query takes about 2 weeks to get attended to. The so called experts are none but mistrusted eBay researchers. The way they evaluate an item is solely based on how much the item has sold for on eBay. The two experts that are worst off all are the experts of the toy section and jewelry section. The toy expert has no clue of what she is doing. The same items she undervalued and declined sold for twice when I took it to eBay. As for the Jewlery experts - they never let me list anything. I really wish someone else takes clue of this opportunity and starts a new bidding site!

  Not for iPhone X

  Useless app when used on iPhone X since the buttons below become unclickable once you’ve used them once. The latest update introduces a “not connected to the internet” message when clicking on “my bids”... almost every time, while other parts of the app can connect to the internet normally... I have to go back to the desktop version in order to be able to use Catawiki, which is a shame because sometimes you want to bid at the last moment and might not be able to do so because you’re away from your computer.

  I really really miss the red dots that described if a search had any hits, one of the most important features and it is sadly gone in one of the updates. Now, If there I have a saved search and I want to know if there is an article matching, I have to go back to the search button and type it in and repeat this for each saved search...

  I have been in the art biz, gallery owner, collector for ever ! This is what buying selling and collecting should be all about. Quick, concise & choice merchandise. No junk and no fakes like so many other auction consortium do. So far, this is the best. Keep up the good work..

  Fix internet issues

  Seriously buggy app with some of the worst connectivity issues I’ve seen. Will simply refused to connect to WiFi or network for 30 mins blocks, not very helpful during an auction! If you’re taking 9% from every sale how about you invest in a real app developer.

  App unusable under bad internet conditions

  Please do not update the list all the time the list appears and also do a network conditioning test. You try to update the contwnt way too often.

  If no issue with your item its great. But if there is a problem; the customer service is terrible. No response after many followup.

  Can not connect to Internet

  I hv iPhone 6+ with 11.4.1 This is 3rd day Catawiki will not connect to Internet while every other app has no problems. I have tried updating. Nothing works so have reluctantly deleted app.
