I was at work doing inventory on labels and that involved opening and closing boxes. So by the time I realized it I knew I was screwed. I had been working with over 20 pallets of boxes so I thought there was no hope. I tried setting alarms but there was no way I was going to hear my Alta vibrate because the building I worked in was super loud. I looked for about an hour and nothing. I finally gave up and took a break. Then a thought came to me to do a Google search. It led me to FindYourFitbit. I was hesitant at first because I NEVER PAY FOR APPS! Like this was the first app I’ve actually paid for. But since I really love my Fitbit, I figured I’d give it a shot. I finally came back to where I was doing inventory and followed the directions (which were super simple). I kid you not in a matter of 5 minuets I was able to find my Alta. It was very helpful for me that I knew where I had lost it. But I mean it was very easy and honestly kinda fun it was like a game and the reward was VERY rewarding. If you are a Fitbit lover like myself I would recommend FindYourFitbit. It definitely helped me get out of my mess and I know it will probably continue to help me.

My Fitbit Flex 2 had been missing for a couple of days and I didn't find it in any of the obvious places, on the dresser, next to the sink, in the car, etc., so I turned to Find My Fitbit yesterday evening (and not for the first time.) Got a warm signal, but very inconsistent, in our living room, so I took the couch apart, looked under all the furniture, magazines, etc., but no dice. By this time is was dark and supper was ready. My wife suggested that we could look outside the next day, but I was skeptical and afraid the battery would run down. So, I put on my hat and coat, and went outside. We had had a winter rain / ice / snow storm the day before, and a little bit more snow and wind that day. Got nothing at first, but when I walked around to the front of our house, near the living room, where we have a bird feeder, there was the warm signal again, then warmer, then hot, then, in the light of my flashlight, the wrist band of my Fitbit sticking out of the snow! It had fallen off when I was filling the feeder. I pulled it out and took it inside and showed it to my wife, crusted with snow and ice. Another happy ending, thanks to Fitbit, perseverance and a smart wife!

It works. You just have to unpair your Fitbit device from your phone. (Go to Bluetooth under general settings and do "forget this device.") This was counter-intuitive, and was very scary to me, because I was sure that I would never see my Fitbit again once it was unpaired. I was getting very desperate, because it had been gone for over a week, I searched high and low, and it was getting very low on battery, which I could see from the Fitbit app. Once the battery died I wouldn't be able to electronically find it anymore. As soon as I unpaired ("forgot") it, the finder started to work, and in 5 minutes, I found it under my couch. I didn't even think there was any space under the couch, but there was apparently enough space for a fitbit to hide there. It had fallen into a very weird place. If not for this finder, I probably would've found my Fitbit when I moved out of the apartment in a year or two, and definitely would've spent more money on a new fitbit by then. Just remember: UNPAIR THE FITBIT... even though it seems weird and scary.

While app/scan function seemed to confirm the fitbit’s location in one of the plausible areas where I likely lost it (outside in overly lush tropiflora - doing yardwork - clasp mechanism on band defective), it initially was less definitive than one might have hoped, vacillating between “warm” and two “hotter” settings, without as much precision as I would have liked. I seemed to be in a 20-25’ range. I walked away twice, coming back later in the day to the narrower range I had seemingly established. With persistence, (and likely greater experience with FindYourFitbit ) however, I was able to further focus my proximity from 6-8 ft to 2-4 feet and the “hotness” gauge (reflecting nearness of the object/watch) accurately ramped up to the second hottest setting…and then the VOILA moment.
Having lost the watch two days ago and spent several hours yesterday to no avail (despite a fair degree of confidence I would find) FindYourFitbit worked! And obviously was worth the modest expense.

I was raking and bagging leaves today, then turned to tree trimming. When I wrapped up for the day, I noticed my watch was gone. After looking in the obvious places—unsuccessfully, I started to unbag the leaves. But, soon enough I thought: “There must be a better way,” so I googled, “How to find a lost Fitbit,” and I found FindYourFitbit. I bought it doubting it could work and anticipating the bother of seeking a refund. But, it was worth a try at least, so I followed the instructions and started wandering the tracks of my day. Much to my surprise (since I didn’t expect it to work) when I got near the tree I was trimming, the signal started registering warm, warmer as I got closer and, for an instant, HOT! I lifted the top branch from the pile and could see my Fitbit in the dirt. Eureka! I was astonished! The band must have caught a branch, and it broke. I never write reviews like this, but I am so grateful. Thank you so very much. I love to be wrong at times like this.

FindYourFitbit was a godsend. My husband lost the little tracker out of his Flex 2 band while jackhammering a driveway. And though we thought we had it narrowed down pretty well, based on when it last tracked steps, we could not find it after 2 hours of moving dirt around, constantly syncing it to see if we had moved it at all. We pretty much lost hope and had to continue with our work. I kept syncing it still and it seemed to be functioning. That’s when I finally decided to Google how to find a lost Fitbit and came across FindYourFitbit. I figured $5.99 was worth it to not waste a Fitbit I had just gotten 6 months prior. It was a little iffy with the Fitbit being buried, but it certainly helped us narrow it down to one spot where we barely looked earlier. FindYourFitbit got a “hot” hit and we just carefully moved dirt around in that spot until we found it! So grateful, was definitely worth the money.

Plain and simple, Fitbits are expensive. I use mine daily. I purchased FindYourFitbit when I lost my tracker, just the tiny Flex 2 tracker, in my car as it flew out of my hand. The tracker had gone in the rubber sleeve over the shifter. I NEVER would have found it! Using FindYourFitbit I did! Saving me $$$ of buying a new one. Second time. I actually forgot I had FindYourFitbit . I was already trying to buy a new o r as cheap as I could. Then I remembered the SUPER APP! I lost again just the tracker! In a foot of snow somewhere in my yard! 😮
We use snowmobiles, four wheelers, have cats and dogs. There was NO WAY I would EVER find it! I tell you a used FindYourFitbit ! Dug in the snow with a rake where it said ‘HOT’ and SOB I found it!! AGAIN!!! Ya don’t waste your money on a new Fitbit when you lose yours! FindYourFitbit WILL FIND IT!!!!! Thanks so much for saving me time and time again!!!!

I have a Blaze and took it off to take a shower this morning. I put it somewhere and was SO UPSET when I couldn't find it. I looked up and down. In and out. Then I googled "Find my Fitbit" and FindYourFitbit came up. 5.99...I never pay for an app, but this time after reading reviews decided to take the chance. READ ALL DIRECTIONS BEFORE STARTING. You have to turn off Bluetooth to it and remove it from your Fitbit list for it to work. I learned the hard way. Then I started, and in just a bit it aimed me for the mantle piece in this old house. Suddenly it started blinking that it had been found. I am SOSOSO HAPPY. IT WORKS. JUST READ ALL DIRECTIONS FIRST BY SCROLLING DOWN AND DOING EXACTLY WHAT THEY TELL YOU TO DO. 10 STARS ; an ingenious app for little old ladies (80) who just do things about house without thinking and then can't remember where she left something...and young alike. ENJOY!!!

Constantly misplacing my Fitbit. If I didn’t have this program I probably would be replacing it over and over again. There are times when I know close can’t seem to find it. This program call and the incremental and the incremental blocks showing whether I am getting Colder or hotter is a godsend. Today I was searching through three rooms couldn’t figure out what I’ve done with it with it but it turns out I’ve placed in a different location I had fallen in the stack of clothing. Never in 1 million years would I have found it but this program help me locate it within 5 minutes. Are use this program constantly is a go to a program but this is the first time I have decided to write a review. I figured it’s the least I can do for program so helpful

I have a fitbit charge 3. I couldn’t find it for about 3 days but I know that it’s nearby because my phone can still sync with it. I finally gave up looking for my fitbit and decided to download FindYourFitbit and try it. I was worried at first when I was reading the instructions and that it doesn’t list charge 3 under its supported devices and I already bought it. However, it found charge 3 anyway and walked slowly around the house and kept going back to the trash can and there it was...inside of of the trash bags in the trash can! Whew! If I had waited another day, I would have completely thrown away a good working fitbit to the dumps because the next day is the trash collection day. Super thanks to FindYourFitbit!

I knew more or less where my Fitbit was but it would not reveal itself. Unbeknownst to me it had fallen out of its charger and when I went to wear it :20 later, it was gone, vaporized, disapperated, adios, MIA, no longer in this realm. We turned the space inside out trying to find it. In an act of desperation I searched for find my Fitbit type apps and this had the best review. I was skeptical, and the price was very daunting. There were cheaper ones available, but I also noticed the money-back guarantee, so I bought in.

I am happy to say that it absolutely worked - it had slid under a storage container under my bed and I never would have found it without FindYourFitbit. I am still uncomfortable with the price I paid, so I have to take a star away, but overall I am completely satisfied with the results.

I’d checked everywhere except church, which was closed, and I was going to call them tomorrow. I hate paying for apps but the free app didn’t do anything and I was working up to a major anxiety attack. FindYourFitbit sounded promising so I figured I didn’t have much to loose at this point.

I followed the instructions and disconnected the Fitbit from my iPhone, then started walking around the house. I immediately got a hit when I was in the front room but lost it when I went to another room. Grabbed my car keys and ran outside and FindYourFitbit went crazy when I got to my car. Couple of minutes later and I’m fishing the Fitbit out from under the front seat.

I never would have found it without FindYourFitbit!

After I dropped my trusty Fitbit while bike riding and it got run over by traffic, I ordered a brand new Fitbit. On the third day I had my new Fitbit I spent the morning clearing and hauling brush on a wild wooded lot that was also entirely covered with a tangled ivy carpet. When I discovered it was gone, I thought finding it would be hopeless. But I downloaded FindYourFitbit and wandered all around the woods until I picked up a signal around the giant pile of brush I had collected. I carefully removed branches and sticks piece by piece and pulled up ivy off the ground where I kept getting warm and hot signals. And there it was on the ground! It took a while but I knew I was close and the cost of FindYourFitbit saved my brand new Fitbit.

FindYourFitbit is amazing, I searched high and low, all around my house when I started to use FindYourFitbit I was a little confused but I quickly learned to look in different rooms even if it is saying that you are warm (closeish) Although this sounds ridiculous, in the morning I was going to take a shower before school and I believed that before getting in the shower that I had placed my charge two on the counter outside of the shower in the bathroom (that’s what I did yesterday) Apparently I was mistaken, I actually ended up leaving it on my table in my room and either it fell of, or I knocked it off. Either way I would have never thought to look in my laundry basket.

When I started with the instructions, it did not list the Inspire HR. I felt that the ad was a fraud. But when I disconnected my Fitbit from my phone (I used my iPad to find it); low and behold I saw the inspire hr and started searching. Finally got to hot and it took awhile. I thought it was picking up my husbands Fitbit (though not an inspire). I finally sat on the floor by my bed trying to pin point it and there it was. Under my jeweler armoire. I must have had it on top and dumped it off in a rush.

Thank you for FindYourFitbit. Now I am going to see if I can sync up my Fitbit again with my phone. Hopefully all goes well. I DO recommend. Definitely worth the $$ and the frustration of looking relief!

I have been going crazy trying to find my Fitbit, when my husband said maybe theres some way to track it online. Found FindYourFitbit. Tried it out last night, but wasn’t able to locate it and since it was raining and stormy, I decided I better wait till the morning, but was a little afraid the battery would be dead by then. Went outside this morning - got a cold signal next to our porch swing - Which was the first time it had picked up a Signal. But I still couldn’tcouldn’t find it. and then I remembered I had put a pillow cover on the seat cushion on our porch swing a few days ago, and sure enough, it was inside! Oh happy day!

I’ve been without my Versa for two days. I knew it was in my apartment because it would sync properly. I looked all over. I started to search with FindYourFitbit but it didn’t work until I unpaired my Versa from my Bluetooth. That was pretty scary to do because now it’s at least nearby and connected to my Bluetooth. What if I really won’t be able to find it? So I took a chance...unpaired and like a charm it started to signal I was cold!! Then things started to move towards hot!! Needless to say I found it at the foot of my bed tuck in between my covers. Smh geez! Get FindYourFitbit and save yourself time from searching.

I found that my tracker fell out of my Fitbit locket. After retracing my steps, I believed the Fitbit had to be at home somewhere. I purchased FindYourFitbit because I had no time to lose - I was leaving for vacation. The directions on FindYourFitbit were easy to follow. I walked through the house slowly holding my iPad. FindYourFitbit registered warm but as I got closer it went to hot. It was a matter of 2 minutes of searching in that area when I spotted it under the bedroom dresser! It was definitely worth the money because I would’ve ended up purchasing another Fitbit tracker if I had not found it that day.

Disbeliever by nature and never pay for apps but I love my Fitbit Flex2 and you cannot purchase replacement trackers so I was stuck.
At first I was leery since it only worked on the one side of my house. But then after tearing apart my closet I thought mice or a bird must have gotten it because it was in the wall. But found out later when I was forced to give up the search and drive my daughter to work it was sending me to my car. It was red hot the whole drive so after tearing apart and cleaning the car (black interior) I found the little tracker under the carpet of the driver seat!
Now I have my tracker and a clean car!!!

I thought using an ipad that wasn't paired w my fitbit would work. No, it didn't show anything until I unpaired my phone. Then we were in business. My advice: move things like the catbox & disgusting garbage cans from warm rooms to cold ones for instant relief & no unnecessary probing. & if your house is really old a really warm spot in the bathroom might be a hot spot in the kitchen. Plaster & lath is not a faraday cage, apparently.

**update: once again, app finds my Fitbit where I least expected to find it. Thank you programmers.

***update: I thought I had already searched my sock drawer. App sent me back to check again. Eureka!
